MINERVO 64: Involved in Problems

"So" said Nico after he came down from Abbas's sling to sit beside Koko under a tree. "Where are you going? Alone like?" Nico scrunched his eyebrows. "But why did you run away after seeing us? I think there's something strange about your attitude."

Koko only gave a bitter smile when she heard the question, her eyes looked at the sky that had started to turn yellow, then, she let out a weak sigh. "It's nothing. I just want to be alone."

Abbas, who was sitting in front of them, pensively thought of Koko's suspicious-sounding words. Abbas was not a person who was sensitive to something, but somehow, seeing the expression on Koko's face, he could understand that something was wrong, causing the long purple-haired man, to want to be alone. And Abbas was quite curious about it, for that reason, he quickly made a sound.

"Are you sad?"

Suddenly, Koko looked up, she was stunned to hear a question from a burly man who had a heavy voice, who was sitting a few meters in front of her. Koko did not expect Abbas to be able to ask directly into the core of the matter, without saying any further ado. Koko so clumsy to answer what, because it would be very troublesome if the two people knew the problem he was now facing, he was very confused now.

Nervously and lips trembling, Koko lowered her head. "I'm fine. You don't have to worry." That's all Koko is capable of saying, she is reluctant to explain everything to them, it will only make the problem even bigger. Koko does not want them to interfere in her problems, enough Paul, Jeddy, Cherry, and Aunt Elena who know, the rest, the rest, Koko doesn't want them to find out - if she doesn't know that Colin already knows.

"Why didn't you tell us? Your problem?" said Nico, managed to guess the condition of Koko, with a thin smile that impressed bragging. Of course Nico can know, because he is a person who is very sensitive to something, and he is also good at observing the emotions of others from his behavior. Nico suspects that Koko is currently in a painful situation, clearly visible from the movements of her eyes, her breathing, her way of speaking, and her body gestures.

Koko further lowered her head by hugging her two bent knees, she buried her beautiful face between two clinging thighs, she did not want Nico and Abbas to see her tears that were currently flowing, wetting cheeks.

"I have no problem. I just want to be alone" replied Koko in a soft voice, without looking at Nico's face or Abbas's, his embrace on his knees tightened. Koko is a little disappointed to have to meet with Nico and Abbas on the road, but he wants to go from Paul's house to the giant bridge of Swart City, which is in the city center, and the place is also known to be very haunted, because it is often used as a suicide location. And Koko wants to join those who have committed suicide on the bridge. But what a pity, he could not do it because he passed Nico and Abbas in the middle of the road, really disappointing.

Nico and Abbas observed Koko hugging her knees by resting her face in her thigh. They began to understand after seeing that, their assumption was getting stronger that at this time, Koko was not okay. Maybe his body seemed fine, but not with his heart. His heart must have been hurt. They are very sure of that.

"If you still don't want to talk, then I'll ask them directly to those at home, I hope Paul is already there." nico said by combing his slightly tangled white hair using his skinny fingers.

"Don't fool me, Koko," Nico moved up, waking up to stand up straight. "People like me will instantly know that you are, right now" Nico looked into Koko's eyes sharply. "Disputed fake smile."

Koko's eyeballs stiffened hearing that, the smile she just displayed, slowly vanished, replaced with trembling lips. "Why... are you so stubborn?" asked Koko so anxious to the attitude of Nico who did not want to comply with his request.

"Hard-headed, huh?" Nico smiled his slanted smile haughtily, while emphasizing his glasses. "All that fits the title is Paul" Nico said, raising his neck, appearing to boast, standing tall before Koko and Abbas. "I'm more worthy of being called the 'Congkak Penguin', everybody knows that. Right, right, Abbas?"

"Penguins... Hunk?" Koko doesn't understand why Nico calls himself by using the name of a cute animal like a penguin, but whatever the reason, he doesn't think about it. Koko clutches Nico's right calf to keep the white-haired man from going to Paul's House. "Please... Nico, don't do that. I don't want you guys...." Koko closed her mouth instantly with her hands, shocked to almost tell the two men the real reason.

"Don't want us what?" nico asked, with a raised next to his brow, displaying a dissatisfied face to Koko's words. "What do you mean is, you want us not to get involved in your problems, do you?" Koko's surprise is even more when she hears Nico's very precise guess. Really, it feels like Koko can't say anything more than being speechless, because dealing with a person like Nico, is really terrible. It feels like dealing with a psychologist who is good at judging a person's mood from his behavior. And that's not a good thing.

Even so, Koko must not give up, she must make Nico not go to Paul's House, and the only way she can think of is to let them hear her problem, because with that, with that, perhaps Nico and Abbas could refrain from asking directly to those in Paul's house. Slowly, Koko took a deep breath, then she exhaled slowly. It was then that Koko let go of her right hand that had previously gripped Nico's calf, then she got ready to explain the true events to the two men.

And at that moment, Nico and Abbas immediately listened quickly to what Koko explained about the problem. Nico and Abbas were unceasingly shocked when they heard the word for word Koko told them. Nico does not believe that it turns out that the problem that Koko is facing is directly related to Naomi, who according to him is a very polite and meek girl, because, imprisoned as Koko said, is, naomi's figure there really feels different. Naomi is too violent, cruel, and sadistic in the story that Koko tells. And that's not what Nico knows in his day.

Meanwhile Abbas, just nodding his head, trying to understand what Koko said about the problem. Although he does not know a girl named Naomi, but he is sure that the girl is not a good woman. But Abbas was curious, wanting to meet Naomi in person, to assess how sadistic the girl was about insulting others.

Nico smiled wryly, "So so, yes. Okay, I get it. Thanks for the explanation, Koko."
