MINERVO 16: The Panic Nurse

BRACKET!

Paul, Jeddy, and Colin are shocked when they hear the sound of a door buzz, after their backs are pushed by someone to enter Cherry's room. Suddenly, the three of them turned their eyes to the door.

"The nurse!" Colin's face immediately panicked to see the door was locked tightly. "In-He locked the door!" then, with a trembling mouth, Colin clasped Paul's right arm, looking very frightened. "How is it! Paul!? I don't want-"

"Don't touch me! Goddamn bum!" Paul immediately brushed off Colin's hand which gripped his right arm, then he looked at the blue-haired man fiercely. "Be scared like a loser, and you still want to call yourself a man, huh!?"

"But-But!" Colin glanced at Cherry, then looked back at Paul in the face. "I-I'm not strong against a madman! I-I'm really scared!"

"Eh?" Hearing that, Cherry was surprised, until the three lollipops she thrust into the three men, she dropped them reflexively. "There are crazy people here, right? Cherry stayed here for almost a year, and Cherry never saw a lunatic, really! So, you need not be afraid, because here it must be safe! Hihihihi!"

"Haha!" Jeddy laughed crisply at Colin's frightened expression until his entire body trembled, then he looked at Cherry with his bow, to be on par with the girl. "Cherry's right! There are no crazy people here! Hehe! There's only beautiful Cherry!" Then Jeddy took the lollipop that fell in front of Cherry, and clasped the three candies in his palm. "Thank you, yeah! Surely these sweets taste sweet like Cherry, hehehe!" And Jeddy stood up straight again by putting his perverted smile on Cherry.

"Wait a minute," suddenly Cherry's carefree voice sounded creepy, and her eyes twitched towards Jeddy, making the man flinch. "Why did you take the candy? Didn't the candy Cherry drop on the floor? That means the sweets are not worth eating, so throw them on the floor, "Then Cherry turned her eyes to Colin. "And you," his tone sounded very suppressed as he spoke to Colin. "What do you mean by 'fear of crazy', you think Cherry's room is full of crazy people? Or maybe.. You think of Cherry as a lunatic?"

Jeddy and Colin are shocked to see Cherry's carefree expression turn so sinister. Paul just knitted his eyebrows, looking astonished, and finally he asked Cherry, "Why has your face changed so?" Hearing the question, Cherry's eyeballs were instantly focused towards Paul, very sharp and oppressive.

"What's your problem commenting on Cherry's face? Who do you think you are here? This is Cherry's house, and Cherry is free to do anything here. You guys as guests should respect Cherry, or maybe the three of you just wanted to make fun of Cherry?" cherry said in a very scary voice.

Paul was really shocked by Cherry's sudden strange attitude so, Jeddy and Colin were curious about it. And, with all of a sudden, Cherry's expression changed again, her sharp gaze, her pouting lips, her oppressive expression, and her dark atmosphere instantly disappeared, she returned to her previous expression, cheerfully overjoyed. "Wooh! Sorry, yes! Cherry must have scared you!" said Cherry with a laugh while snapping her own head cutely. "Sometimes Cherry's mood can change very quickly! Cherry herself is always confused with Cherry herself! The thing! Because of that! Cherry has no friends! All the girls of Cherry's age are always terrified when they see Cherry's mood swings! So, don't hate Cherry, yeah! Hihihi!"

Watching Cherry return to her carefree mode, Jeddy instantly sumringah, she smiled widely. Colin even shuddered more and more in fear, he became sure not to get close to the girl. While Paul immediately let out his voice to Cherry, "While this place is filled with the fragrance of candy, but I can smell it clearly, there is a smell of carrion here. Explain to me, why is there a smell of carrion here, Cherry!?" Jeddy and Colin are caught hearing Paul's statement, then they breathe air in the room simultaneously, to ascertain the truth of his mentor's speech.

"Bro! I don't smell anything bad, really! You are just there! Ahaha!" Jeddy doesn't believe Paul's words because after breathing the air of the room, he doesn't smell anything but candy. Jeddy so guessed that Paul just making it up, after all where maybe the girl as beautiful as Cherry keep a carcass in his room.

Meanwhile, Colin instead, after he inhaled the air to ensure Paul's speech, it turns out he can smell the carcass, although only a little, but it smelled very clear. "I-I kissed her too! Paul!" colin said with a pale face. "You're right! There's a smell of carrion here! I can smell it clearly! You're not lying!" Then, Colin looked at Cherry's face in horror. "Ce-Quick explain it to us! Why is there a smell of carrion in your room, Ch-Cherry!?"

Seeing his friends accuse Cherry, Jeddy seemed to not accept, he immediately pocketed the three lollipops into his pants pocket then he said in front of Paul and Colin, as his hands were stretched out, he said, trying to protect Cherry from them.

"Enough! Bro! Don't hurt her mentally any worse! You know, right? She's just a girl! There's no way he's keeping a carcass here!"

Colin furrowed his brows, surprised by Jeddy's attitude of trying to protect the girl. "Are you stupid!?" Colin is upset with Jeddy. "Obviously there's a smell of carrion here! Your nose must be in trouble! So, get out of front of us, Jeddy! We'd like to ask for an explanation from Cherry!"

"No! You can't hurt Cherry!" exclaim Jeddy with a super serious face.

"You are!" Colin advanced to Jeddy, then gripped the man's chin hard, and whispered to him. "You know, right? He has a mental illness, it's no longer impossible if he keeps a carcass here. Actually, what do you think a madman is? Cute creatures? Funny creature?  Pretty creatures? Nah! The madman, no matter what form he takes, is a terrible creature, Jeddy."

Jeddy gulped at it, he seemed conscious of it, but he still did not want to see his friends hurt Cherry mentally.  "Bro! Even so, can you guys use a more subtle way on him? I don't like to see you guys hurt her mentally!"

"AHEM!" Paul cleared his throat as he looked Jeddy in the eye. "I know you're a hero, but this isn't the time to act like a hero! So, get out of there, I want to see Cherry!"

Unable to refute orders from his mentor, Jeddy is forced to leave with Colin, out of Paul's sight. Although it looks like Jeddy still has his frustrations.

After Jeddy steps aside, Paul can finally see Cherry's face again, and as expected, the girl returns to her 'dark' mode. "Huh..," Cherry sighed with a bored look, then she looked at the faces of the three men who were in front of her cynically. "I thought you guys were gonna be Cherry's friends, but it seemed impossible. You guys are too noisy and annoying. You guys in Cherry's eyes, look like rotten food that's not even worth eating, Cherry said in a growling tone. "But, the Brothers here often advise Cherry not to be picky about food, because no matter how bad it looks, food should be eaten. If not eaten, Cherry can be scolded by the Brothers here."

Suddenly Cherry flashed a faint smile, watching that, Paul looked alert, he had to be prepared if the girl was about to attack him. Colin looks restless, he is too afraid to face Cherry who is a madman. While Jeddy was silent, he just looked at Cherry's increasingly strange behavior, he did not want to see his friends hurt the girl. But he also does not want his friends made into food by Cherry. Therefore, Jeddy also prepared horses to protect his friends.

PIIIIIIYIT!

"So you said you smelled carrion in Cherry's room, huh?" cherry's voice echoed in this darkness, the three of them gasping. "hihim! If Cherry can be honest, there are actually a lot of dead bodies in this room! These are the people who have visited Cherry's room! Daaaaan, you know what? The bodies were the ones who had ripped Cherry! So Cherry put them in the belly of the teddy bears that are here! Sure was! Cherry smeared their corpses with candy-flavored oil! So that the stench goes away! But Cherry was shocked, it turns out you can smell the stench! Hihah! Maybe it's just the green hair whose nose sucks! Hihihi!"

"Hoo? I see, yes," Paul responded to Cherry's words casually. "Then? Are you going to make us your corpse collection too?"

"Paul! Don't say that! I don't want to die here!" colin replied frantically, they couldn't see each other because they were in this darkness. "Hey! Cherry!" Colin ventured to talk to Cherry. "You're really a pathetic girl, huh! Have you not realized all this time that your actions are very evil! What do you think human life is! They are not food! YOU MORON!"

"Eh!? Who are you calling stupid!?" Cherry growled after hearing Colin's words. "If you still intend to mock me! I'm gonna tear that skinny body of yours apart!"

"I .... NOT AFRAID!" Colin replied in a loud voice. "You are a beautiful girl! But why can you kill a human so easily! Don't you have the slightest feeling when you see a human in pain!? Is your heart rotting like those corpses you kept!?"

"DIAAAA! YOOOOOOOO!"

Colin still showed his voice loudly, no matter if his body could now be stabbed, beheaded, torn, scratched, hit, by Cherry, but he still wanted to speak out. "YOU ARE THE MOST IDIOT GIRL IN THE WORLD! CHERRY!"

Suddenly the lights came back on, showing Cherry lying on the floor, writhing while covering her ears with her hands, her face visibly agonized, her tears drenching her cheeks. His pink hair was ruffled, and beside his body, there was a long sword that looked extremely sharp, lying coldly there. Paul, Colin, and Jeddy were surprised to see it, could it be that Cherry intended to slash them with the weapon, let alone that her sword eye looked so dirty by the already blackened blood stains, it seemed like the weapon was already used to slash through many humans.it was truly terrifying.

"Shut up! Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! Heaaam!" murmuring Cherry with a growling voice, she continued to cover her ears with both hands, as if she felt someone whispering her ears constantly until her tears kept pouring out. "Cherry's not an idiot! Cherry is not a bad girl! Cherry is not a stupid girl! It's their fault! They always make fun of Cherry! They always laugh at Cherry! They are the bad ones! So it's not Cherry's fault that Cherry killed them all!"

Jeddy immediately approached Cherry who was wriggling on the floor, then he quickly lifted the little girl's body into his arms and he stood straight in front of Colin and Paul. "Bro, I beg you, don't hurt him anymore" Jeddy said, rubbing Cherry's sobbing little back. "Cherry must have his own reasons for killing people."

Paul ignored Jeddy's words and he walked up to the teddy bears lined up in the corner of the room. Paul picked up a doll and he brutally tore the belly of the doll and out came pieces of meat that had been filled with maggots, falling to the floor. After getting a real proof that Cherry's talk was not a lie, Paul threw the doll back into the corner of the room. This time he approached the small candles on the floor that were deliberately made circular.

"I understand now" Paul said after he looked at everything in the room. "Honest me, Cherry," Paul approached the girl Jeddy was holding. "All these murderous acts you've committed, you must have been coerced by someone, right?"

Hearing that, Cherry immediately raised her head that was sinking on Jeddy's shoulders, and turned her gaze to Paul "Cherry... Has been forced by someone?" rework Cherry with confusion.

It seems that the girl was not aware of what she had been feeling, she considered that all her vile deeds were her own. But Paul can tell that everything Cherry does, not purely out of her will. Paul suspects, there are other parties who use Cherry from behind the scenes.

"ah! Cherry remember!" And suddenly Cherry made a noise, making Paul flinch. "People in the Firm! Brothers are here! They always order Cherry to kill the person visiting Cherry's room and they also force Cherry to give some of the body of the person Cherry killed to them! And if Cherry indulges their will! Cherry will be given lots of sweets! But! If Cherry does not comply with their wishes, Cherry will be severely tortured by them!"

Colin glared in shock at hearing that, he felt guilty for saying such a bad thing to Cherry. Jeddy was wide-eyed because he didn't think that the people in this hospital had such a rotten heart. While Paul only wears a faint smile and says, "Colin, Jeddy, and you're Cherry! It's time for you as a hero to act" Paul said casually. "Destroy them all!"

"Hero?" Cherry was confused to hear that.

Some of the nurses who eavesdropped behind the door were shocked to hear the remark, they were all terrified and ran into the elevator to escape from the Firm. When the elevator doors opened, however,

"Where are you going, ladies?"

A pale man appeared inside the elevator with a friendly face in front of them all. Then, he flicked his finger, and suddenly, hundreds of doors that locked the crazy girls, opened simultaneously, from the top floor to the bottom. Making all nurses on each floor panic handle the patients who began to rebel and rampage.

The pale man smiled faintly, "The prison sentence seems too light for your deeds," the man said softly. "What punishment, huh? The right one for you?"

The faces of all the nurses who were there paled, and the blonde nurse who was among them came forward to the pale man and said, "Side! We're going to get into this elevator!"

"Oh? By forgetting your responsibility?" reply the pale man with a smile. "Look back, your patients are coming, including the most dangerous patients."

Suddenly, the nurses turned their heads back, and they all screamed as the crazy girls who were supposed to be confined in their rooms were running towards them.
