MINERVO 15: The Cunning Girl

That morning, when the sun was still not so stinging, three teenage boys seemed to just get off an inter-city bus, they landed in Poppe City, Poppe, a place full of pink. Buildings skyscrapers, houses, road markings on zebra cross, until the leaves of the trees look very beautiful because they have a similar color, namely pink. I don't know what is on the minds of the people in Poppe City to color the entire city pink. Paul was shocked because it was his first time to go to a place like this in his country.

Actually Paul often sees the atmosphere of Poppe City on television and the internet, because the city is included in the cities that diligently promote 'beauty'nya to the media in order to be visited by tourists in various parts of the world, and the city is also a popular tourist destination, but he did not expect that the original turned out to be this ridiculous. In fact, Paul could see that all the pedestrians that were milling about on the streets of the city were wearing pink clothes, and it seemed like there were a lot of people of different races here, there were blacks, there were blacks, white skin, yellow skin, and various unique body shapes. Paul did not respond to the question and continued to move his feet forward, his face flat. Then, Jeddy followed along with a voice on his right. "Bro! After visiting this city directly, for some reason, all the negative thoughts that had been in my head about Poppe City, so all gone! Bro!" said Jeddy with a big smile on Paul, even though sweat soaked his body. "Haha! Now, I feel ashamed of myself for thinking of this city as a terrible place, when in fact, Poppe City is very beautiful! Right, guys? Bro!"

Observing Paul's seemingly disregard for them led Colin to say, "Free, Paul won't chimed in on you, Jeddy." And Jeddy just laughed hearing that.

The three of them continued to walk on the sidewalk, down this city together, passing various places filled with pink, whether it was shops, golf courses, playgrounds, to a special place of beheading. But the truth is, the three of them are going to a place that Jeddy and Colin never thought of, because Paul had not told them the original purpose of going to this city from the beginning.

"By the way," Colin began to make a sound as the three of them were still walking on the city sidewalk. "You're aware no? From then on, the people we meet, for some reason, always glance at us with a cynical look."

Hearing those words, Paul and Jeddy turned their eyes to Colin. Then, Jeddy answered him in a relaxed tone, "Hahaha! You're this! There is just! But unfortunately, all the questions asked by Colin and Jeddy were not responded to by Paul, he continued his journey. Until finally, Paul stopped at a gate from the building that read 'FUFIRM: Special Mental Hospital Youth Girl', making Colin and Jeddy come to a stop and look at the name of the building. And they both flinched after reading it, and Colin hurried over to Paul and exclaimed, "Paul! Don't tell me the next hero is--"

"YES!" With his eyes closed to Colin, Paul answered the question loudly. "The next hero is a patient in this place! How's it!? Your curiosity has been channeled, right!? Then let's go inside!"

"Cherry! Oh, true! Name's Cherry!"

"Well, I'll go back and check" and it took a little while for the woman to look back at Paul's face from her book. "The patient named Cherry is in room two hundred and four, on the seventh floor. You'll be accompanied by a nurse to get there."

In the elevator to the seventh floor, the blonde-haired nurse smiled at Paul, Jeddy, and Colin, then she asked in such a gentle voice, "Are you three Cherry's family?"

Colin immediately shook his head with a frightened face, Jeddy just nodded his head with flushed cheeks, as he was constantly staring at the nurse's breasts. And Paul immediately answered the question forcefully, "No, we are not his family. We're just three delinquents who want to apologize to Cherry for ever harassing her" Paul told a lie, leaving Jeddy and Colin shocked to hear.

"That's it, yes," said the nurse with a shocked face. "Goodoo. I'm glad to hear it."

Then, stammering Colin asked the nurse, "Emm... Wh-Did the patients in this hospital often go berserk like the ones in the movies?"

Instantly, the nurse giggled at Colin's question. "Sometimes there are some patients who are so, but only a few. Are you afraid of a rampaging madman?" Colin's face immediately turned completely pale hearing that.

"Aahaha! N-Not so scared, really! ahaha!" colin replied with a bland laugh.

"I also want to ask you something, okay?" Now Jeddy is making a sound, and the nurse is just nodding. "All the patients in this hospital are girls, right? Well, are they pretty girls?"

The nurse giggled again at the funny question. "I worked at the Firm for only four months, and after I treated the various patients here, I think, most of them had pretty faces, but there are some patients who have a very beautiful face, until the doctors fell in love with them, hehehe!"

The nurse smiled and heard it. "If compared to other patients, Cherry may be ranked at the top in terms of beauty, but even so, you should be careful if you are nearby."

The elevator rang, indicating they had reached the seventh floor. After the elevator doors were wide open, they went out and followed the direction of the nurse, forgetting the question Colin had just asked. Until finally they stopped at a door that read 'Room 204 : Cherry'. Paul, Jeddy, and Colin stared fixedly at the door until the nurse pushed the door open, making a terrible sound.
