"What is this, Roswel?"
Paul was amazed when Roswel suddenly shared a candy bar on him, Nico, Colin, and Abbas. The candy was shaped like an egg, and it was bright purple, there was a distinct luster to its color, it looked like a pearl. The four of them were still inside the Roswel castle, in a room occupied by Abbas. After the conversation about the next hero who was a prostitute was over, suddenly, Roswel gave them some candy. After all, they were shocked by this.
"That's candy, sir."
Roswel answered Paul's question with a friendly smile that was so warm. However, that answer did not leave Paul and the others satisfied. For what they want to know is not the name of the thing, but the reason of Roswel who brought the sweets to them. They are curious about it. It seemed like the candy they were holding, was no ordinary candy.
"Then, why did you suddenly give us these sweets?"
Paul again asked with furrowed brows, with a focused look on Roswel's face. Not only Paul, the others were the same, they all looked at Roswel's face expectantly.
"I used to tell you, didn't I? About candy that can move a person's body to a distant place, after the candy is eaten. Do you remember that, Mr Paul?"
Nico, Colin, and Abbas, simultaneously, were shocked. They immediately turned their attention to Paul, wanting to ascertain whether what Roswel said was a truth or a lie. But whatever it is, they don't care, all they want is to hear Paul's response to it.
Paul himself was trying to remember what Roswel said the first time they met, his eyes closed, the veins on his forehead and neck were protruding, his lips were pursing, and sweat was pouring down his face. Paul went on and on trying to remember it, until finally, he could find it clearly. That memory.
"I remember!" Paul's eyes opened wide. "Candy Agios! You told me about that candy! When we first met!" Paul grinned. "Suckers! You should have mentioned the name of the candy from the beginning! So I don't have to bother remembering it anymore!"
Roswel clapped his hands alone, trying to enliven it, apparently pleased at Paul's success in remembering the candy's name. The sound of his clapping echoed in the room.
"I'm glad you can remember that, sir." Roswel turned his warm smile to Paul. Then, he flicked the applause and his attention was turned on the faces of Nico, Colin, and Abbas, who looked puzzled, clueless at what was going on right now. "I will explain in detail, gentlemen," Roswel told Nico, Colin, and Abbas. "The candy you are holding is Agios, a candy that can move a person's body to a distant place, of course, after the candy is eaten by you."
"Sorry" Colin quickly chimed in on Roswel. "But that's not what confused us, Roswel."
Roswel gasped at Colin's words, not expecting his guess to be inaccurate. He thought Nico, Colin, and Abbas were confused about the candy. But in fact, that's not what makes the three men confused.
"Eh?" Only this time did Roswel make a mistake in guessing someone's mind, usually whatever a normal human being thinks, he was able to guess it very precisely. "Lantas, what confuses you, Mr Colin, Mr Nico, Mr Abbas?"
"Actually," Nico raised his voice, with a super cold intonation. "We were more curious about your encounter with Paul, which involved Candy Agios," Nico said with glittering glasses, reflected by the sunlight. "We'd be happier if you explained that to us, Roswel." As if he had the same thought, Colin and Abbas nodded in unison.
"Too short," hissed Nico with a loud snort. "But it doesn't matter, at least you answered our question well. We thank you."
"Together, sir," Roswel bowed to Colin, Nico, and Abbas. Then he re-enforced himself and said, "Then let's go straight to the departure session, gentlemen," Roswel said in a loud voice. "Now, I'm asking, put that Agios candy in your mouth, it's okay if you want to chew it first or swallow it straight away, which is important, you put the candy in your mouth."
Hearing Roswel's explanation, Paul, Nico, Colin, and Abbas, simultaneously put the candy they held, into each other's mouths. Paul chews it first to destroy the body of the candy. Nico directly swallowed the candy into his throat, for him the sooner the better.
Colin let the candy sit on his tongue, he still did not want to remove the candy from his mouth, because the taste of the candy is very sweet and it would be unfortunate if he destroyed it or immediately swallowed it. Abbas coughed after swallowing the candy directly, as Nico did, apparently touching the sensitive skin inside his throat slightly, it made Abbas feel itchy and finally coughed.
Roswel gave a faint smile looking at Paul, Nico, Colin, and Abbas, who had put the candy of his gift into each other's mouths. After being satisfied to see it, Roswel again voiced.
"Next, I ask you, you should imagine your destination in each other's heads, but because your destination is the same, which is Mr. Paul's home in Swart City, he said, so imagine something connected to Mr. Paul's house, maybe the gate, the front yard, the living room, his mother's face, or something like that, please."
"Sorry" Colin raised his right hand after hearing this. "What about him?" Colin pointed towards the burly man standing beside him. "Don't Abbas have never visited Paul's House at all, so, how does he remember things related to that house? Even I'm sure, Abbas hasn't been to Swart City."
"Don't worry, Mr. Colin," replied Roswel in a voice so subtle to Colin. "To deal with Mr. Abbas' case, I have a solution" Roswel was silent for a moment. "I'm asking, You take Mr. Abbas by the hand, whatever it is, as long as it's part of Mr. Abbas's body, you may hold it, so that when you disappear into Mr. Paul's house, you can hold it, Mr. Abbas can get carried away there. While Mr. Abbas himself, I ask, you do not imagine any place, because if you were to imagine a meadow, when Mr. Colin took your hand, it would make a shift, he said, which makes you separate. In fact, the worst end, your body can be cut into different places. Up here do you understand, gentlemen?"
Colin's face immediately paled upon hearing that, "I-That's terrible!" Suddenly, Colin turned his gaze to the face of Abbas who was beside him. "Please, don't imagine any place when I hold your hand. Please, Abbas. Please." Colin made the plea to Abbas with teary eyes, as if Abbas had rejected it, his life would have been a bet.
Abbas nodded his head as he stroked Colin's hair gently, like he was petting a cat. "I understand" Abbas said in his baritone voice, trying to calm down the frightened Colin. "Don't worry."
Watching Colin's hair being caressed by Abbas, Nico was immediately angry, he came to them both with a hyacinth feeling. "Can you stop that, Abbas? I don't like to see it." Nico brushed aside Abbas's hand, which was about to stroke Colin's hair again. Suddenly, Abbas was shocked. "You can't touch Colin's hair, okay?" Then Nico's attention was turned to Colin's face who was jerking at the action. "And Colin, you don't have to do it" Nico said with a serious look at Colin. "Let me do it, holding Abbas's hand. So, you no longer need to fear the risks. Because I'll do it. Youunderstand?"
"What the fuck?" Paul grieves seeing Nico who seems jealous of the closeness between Colin and Abbas. "Easy! Do quick! I want to hurry home!" Then, Paul closed his eyes and tried to imagine each curve from his own home.
Colin closed his eyes and tried to remember the view of Paul's house. Nico, violently, squeezed Abbas in the hand and closed his eyes. At first Abbas was jolted with the grip, but he tried to think positively and close his eyes tightly, without imagining any place.
"In a moment, the candy will react, you will be taken to the place you imagine in each other's heads" Roswel smiled seeing Paul, Colin, Nico, and Abbas, closing his eyes simultaneously. "Then, I'll see you next time, gentlemen."
