"Being a hero? Me? Pfft! Ahaha!"
Colin burst into laughter after hearing Paul's explanation of; what a mentor, a firefly, and a hero are. Until Paul's mouth froze for explaining all that from start to finish, for Colin to be able to understand his condition. Because that is the job of a mentor, guiding the would-be heroes to become true heroes. But unfortunately, Colin's response was not as expected, the blue-haired man even seemed to mock him, as if everything Paul explained was a mere silliness.
"I'm sorry before! Ahaha!" Colin made a sound accompanied by a crisp laugh. "I'm laughing not about mocking you! Ahaha! It's just, you know, everything you say makes me want to laugh! Ahaha! It's like a natural response from my subconscious! It sounds so funny! Ahaha!"
Paul did not answer him at all, he just kept quiet by putting on a flat face, letting Colin laugh as much. According to Paul, this is normal. Everyone will laugh when a stranger says you're going to be a hero. Hence, Paul was not angry to see Colin laughing at him, although in fact, it was a bit annoying, his hands were already itchy, wanting to hit the face of the blue-haired man.
"But you don't have to worry! Ahaha! I believe your story, really! So, can you tell me, how's it going? Will I be trained to unleash superpowers? Like flying? Control fire? Of water? A wind? Or have some other great power? Ahhaha!"
Still mute, Paul kept his mouth shut not to answer, because it seemed like Colin was not serious yet. Paul waits for the moment where Colin is exhausted from laughing so much, and that's where he'll take revenge. And it seems, the moment that Paul is waiting for will soon arrive, seen from Colin's expression that was satisfied to laugh.
Rewarding a slanted smile, Paul was ready to take action.
"Ohhh." Colin exhaled, he was so full that he laughed at Paul that his stomach hurt. "Am I laughing too much? Sorry, yes! I am weak when I hear something funny. Let's just forget about that. So, where were we, um, Paul?"
Featuring his cruel grin, Paul began to say, "Have you? Are you satisfied now? Very funny, right. So funny, I'd like to puke looking at your face while laughing." Paul walked over, approaching Colin, after the distance was close, he looked at the two men's eyes very sharply. "Just relax, I still have a lot of funny stories for you. I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that, Hercolin."
Shocked, Colin's face to sweat hearing that, he was also horrified to see Paul's eyes staring at him savagely. Colin pulled both of his legs slowly, retreating to get away from Paul who was becoming more and more terrifying. His mouth trembled, confused what to reply to Paul's words that pierced his heart.
Happy to see Colin terrified, Paul crossed his arms around his chest gallantly. "What's up with your look, Colin? You seem to be scared. Where did your crisp laughter go? I want to hear it again." Paul held back his laughter, he shook his head. "Come on? Laugh again! Comeing! Eject laughter! Oye! Why are you keeping quiet? Oh! GET YOUR LAUGHS OUT!"
Colin fell to his feet, unable to hold his weight. For both his legs trembled, while Paul, standing before him, only grunted to look at him.
"K-please forgive me! I-I'm sorry! Because they laughed at you! Instead! You can do anything to me! Y-You can hit me! Kicked me! Stomp me! Whatever! I am willing to accept anything from you! But I beg you! Don't kill me!"
"You sure?" Paul displayed his grin, while showing off his two pointed fangs.
Colin nodded his head quickly, like a dog obedient to his master's orders. "Then stand up!" paul snapped at Colin firmly. The man immediately shuffled up his body to stand up.
"Close to me." said Paul in a cold tone to Colin. And plainly, Colin approached Paul, although he was actually very frightened. And when the two of them were close together, Paul smiled, then, he said,
THE BUAG!
Stripped a large rock that shot into Colin's back, empty-handed. Until the stone was crushed to pieces, nothing remained. Makes Colin go wide, because he heard something had been crushed was hit by Paul. Colin also ventured to look back, and how shocked he was when he found a stone that had been crushed, fell, littering the ground.
However, what made Colin's curiosity increase was; who threw a large stone at him, because he understood very well how big the stone was, if his head was hit by it, he said, he's gonna die a terrible death here.
"So-Actually who threw a big stone like this towards us!?"
Surprised, Colin asks Paul for an explanation. Because it looks like something is not right in this place. Colin was very curious. Moreover, this was still present in his work environment; the food stall. He also believed, with such a big stone, could make a shop destroyed in a moment.
"It looks like someone doesn't like our presence here, Colin" Paul said with a standby eye, glancing in every direction, for fear that a stone might be thrown at them again.
"T-Don't like our presence!? But who!? As I recall, I never had an enemy this brutal, whose hatred made him want to kill me. It's too horrible."
Colin's fear went crazy, his whole body was sweating and trembling. Paul who realized that, immediately snapped at Colin. "Stupid! Don't show your weakness in front of your enemy! We have to look strong! We don't know who or where did it yet!"
Hearing the blow from Paul, Colin gulped his saliva. "Well! I'll try!" Although Colin said so, actually his fear has not disappeared at all. But at least, now he seems braver than ever.
"Hey Colin, I don't care if you want to believe it or not, it's none of my business. I just wanted to say, since you're going to be a hero, you must have a steady heart and a great sense of confidence in the face of danger! You understand!?"
A moment after Colin shouted that out, dozens of large stones suddenly fell from all directions. Making Colin's eyes open wide, watching every stone that came to him. He could die if he was hit by those stones. A little careless, his life is over.
However, when the stones were already in front of his nose, Colin pondered, if if death came to him. would he resign, allowing death to take his life for granted?
"Don't you think... I'LL DIE THAT EASY! YAAAAAAAAN!"
With mounting fury, Colin cried out loud, showing great courage to his enemies; the stones, until his neck veins stood out clearly.
THE BUAG! BRAG! BRACKET! BAG! BAG!
And with all his might, Colin smashed, hit, hit, kicked, punched, all the rocks that shot towards him, until both his hands and both his legs were splattered with blood.
Unknowingly, the incident was being witnessed by many people, even customers and waiters peering at the window, watching Colin and Paul smash stones thrown at them from all directions. Everyone who witnessed the incident was amazed. Many also capture their actions through camera shots or video recordings.
"Well... Huh... Hah..," Paul gasped so tired of hitting the stones, as well as Colin. However, something is different, Colin looks happy smile even though he looks very tired.
Awe rose in Paul's mind as he looked at Colin's expression. He did not believe the person who had previously been so annoying and timid, so looked strong and brave.
Paul also showed his smile, because he was proud to see Colin's development in a very short time. It seemed, there was no sign of any more hail, making both Paul and Colin relieved, and everyone watching, cheering, giving their support, because the audience was happy to see the end of the struggle of the two brave men.
The waiters rushed out, hugging and lifting the bodies of Colin and Paul. Show everyone that these two men are their pride.
However, the problem arising from the incident was; many vehicles owned by customers were damaged due to the rocks, because of the location of Colin and Paul at that time in the parking lot owned by the store. Even Paul's bike did not escape from the rock.
Looks like Paul's going home on foot.
"Hey Paul," As Paul was about to leave, Colin called his name, making his steps stop. "Thank you for the injection of courage you gave me. Now, it's like I'm reborn into a different person. My confidence soared so high that I could not see my weakness. Also, I want to apologize for laughing at you! Now! I believe in your words! Because that's! Help u! Guide me to being a real hero!"
When he said that, Colin bowed for a long time to Paul, to thank him and apologize.
Paul smiled little looking at her. "Bas stupid."
The people who saw it were also touched. Then, Paul casually left Colin who was still bowing to him. Because his bike was broken, Paul had to go home on foot.
However, the people who witnessed the incident ran to Paul, offering the boy a ride noisily. Paul was confused which offer to choose.
Meanwhile, on one of the roofs of the building standing not far from the shop, the white-robed crowd stared at the furore of the two men who were being proud of by the many people there.
"Getting." said a long blonde girl, one of the group in white robes, with an irritated tone and bulging eyes, looking at the two men who were bullied by the people below. "Their scent is disgusting. Smelling clearly, there was a scent of disgusting spirits on their bodies. We should have brought more stones. For them to die! Because people like them deserve to be eliminated!"
"Don't use harsh words, Liona," said an old man with a white beard, who was also one of the group in the white robe. "Too rude to call it 'dissipate', you can replace it with 'clean up', because it's better to hear."
"Gerrr! I can't stand to clean them!" Liona bit her fingers so hot.
"Unfortunately, today we failed to cleanse the two sinners using heavenly stones. But don't worry, keep your resentment, anger, and resentment for a while, children. In the next opportunity, we'll completely clean them up. Trust in God's grace."
Then, in unison, the white robes disappeared like the wind, as did the white robes on the roofs of other buildings. They all disappeared at the same time.
Thus, the figures of the spirit killers, who always consider the heinous actions they do are orders from God.
