"Thank you for the ride!"
Paul got off a black sedan right in front of the gate and thanked the man who gave him a ride. After that, the car went out from Paul's presence, again continuing his journey. Paul looked at the car with a flat face. In Paul's mind at this time; he was confused to express his feelings how, because actually he was happy to get a ride from someone, thanks to which he did not need to go home on foot.
But on the other hand, Paul was upset that the only bicycle he had cared for was a small, crushed stone; and his carcass was still in the tavern parking lot. Paul is also still curious about who the perpetrators who threw the large stones at him, it seems that the culprit is not only one or two people, considering the stones appear from all directions, he said, which allows the number of culprits there are many.
But stupid, Paul doesn't want to think about it anymore. It even made his head so dizzy, he wanted to rest, let alone the day was already afternoon. It's time to take a shower. However, just as Paul was about to open the gate of his house, he suddenly remembered something very important; namely about the existence of nine fireflies who had gone somewhere because they were released by Colin; the first human to have been chosen by a firefly.
Paul was so focused on Colin that he forgot something so important, so stupid.
Although Paul had found the first man, his task would still be a failure if he was unable to find the other nine. Especially now, the other nine firefly spirits were gone. Then how did Paul get another hero, if his main source; fireflies, had been lost?
It was the same as a stupid boy who was excited to have solved the number one problem, until he forgot that there were nine more numbers that he had not finished, he said, but the boy didn't realize it because he was too focused on number one.
Bugs!
"Fuck all that!" Exasperated, Paul kicked a pole from the gate of his house. He became resentful of himself as well as everything related to the duties of Roswel. Paul was upset to have to lose those spirits again.
Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzzz!
When Paul was still standing at the gate of his house, he pondered. The phone he kept in his pants pocket, suddenly vibrating, a sign that someone was calling. Paul picked up the phone without reading the name of the person who contacted him.
Because his mood was very bad, Paul wanted to vent all his frustration on the person who called him at this time.
"Hello!? What business are you doing!? Quickly answer! Goddamn bum!" Paul immediately berated the person who called him, no matter who the interlocutor was, because his mood was really very ugly at the moment.
"Sorry to bother you again, sir. It's me, Roswel. It seems like this is not the right time to provide information, given your bad mood. Did I just hang up the phone, sir?"
It turned out that the person who had contacted him was Roswel, leaving Paul a little surprised. Roswel would definitely give him important information, Paul could not just ignore it. Although resentment still enveloped his heart, he was curious as to what Roswel would say.
Grieving, Paul replied, "It's quick to say! Don't make me wait! Goddamnit! But I'm confused as to why you could call me when we never exchanged phone numbers! Goddamn bum! Besides that! I also can't believe a magician like you who seems to come from a fantasy world, has a phone! That's weird! Bastard!"
Across the phone, Roswel smiled faintly, holding back his laughter as he heard all the swearing from Paul to him. He felt that the boy was becoming more and more cruel, even to himself. But it's not bad, according to Roswel. Then, softly, Roswel replied to Paul's harsh words.
"Ah, I forgot to tell you about it, actually I can telepathize to you via mobile phone, so impressed, I was like I was calling you. But actually I don't have a cell phone to call you, sir," Roswel said in a voice so subtle. "In that case, I'll just go straight to the main topic. First of all, I want to congratulate you! Because you've managed to get the first hero. Then I also actually already know that the other nine fireflies have disappeared from you, right?"
Remembering that, Paul clenched his teeth hard. "Yes! They have disappeared! And now what? Are you going to force me to look for them by the week limit!? Or fired me from this task because I was useless as a mentor!? Quickly answer! Goddamn bum!"
"No, Mister. I'm not going to force you to get them back, or fire you, because you're so valuable. What I'm going to tell you is, you don't have to worry about the nine fireflies that have disappeared, because I can see them, that they've found the humans they've chosen. But unfortunately, the humans they choose live in different cities and seem very far away when measured from your home."
Instantly, after hearing Roswel's explanation, all the resentment, anger, aggravation in Paul's heart vanished, replaced with relief and happiness that erupted in his heart. The sour expression on Paul's face turned into a smile of excitement.
"B-Stupid! You should have said from the beginning! If you do, maybe you won't get snapped from me! So it's your fault! Not fault! Remember that!" paul said with a flushed cheek. "By the way, why do you know all that? Do you have the power to make you see everything? If so, that means you've always been spying on me!? Damn you Roswel!"
"B-Dass! Don't say that! I don't want to hear it from your mouth!" Both of Paul's cheeks became redder, he became frightened of Roswel. "Forget about it! I wanted to ask, what should I do after those nine fireflies have gotten their respective humans!?"
"Of course, you have to meet those nine humans, Sir."
"That's impossible! Because I don't know which city they are in!? There are hundreds of cities in the country! You idiot!"
"Alright, I'll make sure of it first. Hmmm, ah, it's finally been traced. I started from the nearest first, yes, sir." Roswell continued his words. "Since you live in Swart City, there are several targets living in the neighboring city. For example, there's one target who lives in Groen City, sir. You better get there tomorrow morning, and if you've met the target, I'll call you again to tell you the location of the next target, Mister."
"STUPID!" Suddenly Paul snapped at Roswel, until his mouth was close to the phone screen. "What do you think Groen City is!? Groen City is a big city! Although the location is close to my city, but it is impossible that I can find the target easily! This goes for other cities too! Every city is big and big! And the people in every city are many! And you told me to find one out of hundreds of thousands of people who live in a city!? Bastard!"
Thanks to Paul's words, Roswel finally realized about it, he immediately responded to the words. "Ah, what you say has a point too, Sir. I'm too naive, well I'll explain in more detail, sir. So, in my opinion, the target seen in Groen City seems to be an eighteen-year-old man who always enjoys spending his time hanging out with his friends in adult clubs, sir. He also seems to have fucked a lot of wan--"
"Stupid! That's enough!" paul said cutting off Roswel's words that seemed to begin to expose the target's disgrace. "Now explain how it looks? And if you can, the names are too! So I can find it easily!"
"Well, sir," After concentrating his scouting force against the target, Roswel again said, "From what I see, his hair is green, his face looks stupid, and his eyes are very dull, always wear a green sweater and green shorts. It can be concluded that the appearance of the target is exactly like a praying mantis, all green, sir."
Almost laughing at Roswel's explanation, Paul immediately restrained his laughter and immediately responded quickly. "okay! Then, what's his name?"
"Hmm, from what I see, his friends often call him by the name of 'Jeddy', sir."
After getting information from Roswel, Paul immediately turned off his phone unilaterally, then put his phone back in his pants pocket and he smiled.
"I'll find and smash your stupid face, Jeddy."
Then, Paul opened the gate of his house and went inside, he planned to take a bath first, his body was very sticky, full of sweat. However, just as Paul walked into the door, he was shocked by the presence of his classmates in the living room, sitting lined up in each chair and having a warm conversation with his mother, there was Olivia there too.
"Well? Paul's here, Auntie!" All his friends began to turn his attention to Paul, they all giggled at his dirty and shabby appearance. There were also those who looked at him with a look of disdain, only Olivia who looked sparkling to see Paul's arrival.
"Finally! You came too! You see? Your classmates are coming here! You're happy, aren't you?" Paul's mother smiled at the return of her son.
For some reason, all the aggravation, anger, resentment, hatred in Paul's heart began to reappear. Paul is sick of seeing the faces of his classmates. "Why are you all visiting my house, damn it!?"
Paul's mother was surprised to see her son who seemed to dislike the presence of his classmates. Olivia hurriedly got up from the chair and said, "Look, Paul, we came here just wanted-"
"Whatever your reasons, the point is you all just want to mock me, right!?"
Hearing the sharp words from Paul made Olivia and her friends flinch.
"If you only want to mock and humiliate me, you better not now, because I'm so tired, I'm afraid you're going home with a blackened face from here because you got beat up by your delinquent friend," paul's hiss left Olivia and her friends speechless. "So when are you going to sit in my chair? Hurry up, I know you must have been forced to come here because of Olivia's coercion, right? Don't worry, I'll silence Olivia. So, get the fuck out of my house right now, asshole."
