The Power Enthusiast
MINERVO 43: Nature Call

After tens of minutes of waiting, Koko, Jeddy, and Naomi finally return to Paul's presence. Koko appears to be carrying a large black plastic that contains a typical food of Sablo City which is now being held, Jeddy looks panting but his face indicates that the sought stop has been found, Jeddy said, while Naomi comes by dragging a large suitcase in her right hand, like the one who is about to move house, she also says that a woman has a lot of needs for herself, so carrying a large suitcase is a natural thing. At first Paul is upset at Naomi's attitude, but how else, the girl is stubborn.

Because his job is done in the city of Sablo, Paul also walked away from the slum restaurant to go to the bus stop that Jeddy said. Seeing Paul hurrying, the three of them-Coko, Jeddy, and Naomi-streeched on his mentor from behind. On the way to the stop, Naomi repeatedly said that in fact she was hard to leave Sablo, a lot of beautiful memories that exist in this city, but when Paul asks why not just stay here, Naomi shakes her head. Naomi thought, if she stayed here, her existence could cause chaos, considering the white robes were after her.

In Naomi's mind, if she stayed in Sablo, she was afraid that one day the white robes would hurt her family or the townspeople to make her give up her life, and it was terrible. Naomi did not want that until it happened, so she chose to go to Swart City, not just want to meet with Colin, Nico, or Cherry, he wanted the white robes not to come to Sablo City anymore.

That's what Naomi thought, but unfortunately, she didn't say that to Paul, Koko, and Jeddy. Then, to change the atmosphere, Jeddy made silly jokes from the experiences he shared, Naomi with Koko laughed and heard the jokes. Paul only displayed a flat expression, not interested in showing his laughter.

"Paul, I'm curious. Will a hero be given power? I mean, powers like the four elements, or something like that. Did she?" Naomi chuckles. "If I knew it was absurd, but after seeing the power of the White Robes, I thought maybe such a power could be possessed by a hero. Because I'm sure, our enemy is definitely not just a robber or a common criminal, right?"

Suddenly, Paul gasps at Naomi's question after the four of them are already sitting in the bus cabin. Actually Paul was also curious about it, whether the heroes will be blessed with power? But so far, Roswel has not explained that, the pale man only said that the ten heroes must be found and their duty is to protect mankind, while Paul's job as a mentor is to guide the heroes to become a true hero. That's all Roswel said, the rest are just unimportant explanations. Consequently. Paul answered Naomi's question with a sigh.

"I don't really know the details, but it doesn't seem impossible."

Jeddy sumringah heard him, he began to fantasize of having the power of fire, water, wind or earth to crush his enemies, accompanied by stunning movements, and, like the scene of the heroes fighting against the villains in the film that he often watched in the cinema.

"Whoah! It must be so exciting if we are given a power! Bro!" Jeddy looked very happy, until his feet were stomped with excitement. "I'm curious, what kind of power will I be given, huh? This me, Bro!? But clearly, whatever his strength is, I will master it well! Bro! Ahhhhhhh!"

"But" Koko began to make a voice with such a subtle tone. "If I were given such power. I'm not sure I can master it" Koko begins to smile bitterly at Paul, Jeddy, and Naomi. "Because all this time, I've never fought or fought with anyone. So, I'm not sure I can be a strong hero. As you know, I'm very weak and powerless."

Jeddy immediately patted Koko on the shoulder with his laughter, saying, "Hahaha! Don't be so pessimistic! I'm sure you can also master it and be able to become a great hero! But if you're still not sure" Jeddy whispered to Koko. "Then talk about it with your mentor. I'm sure he can teach you how to be a real hero. Isn't Paul's job like that, right? Hehehe."

Although Jeddy whispers to Koko, the whisper is still heard clearly by Paul and Naomi. Maybe Jeddy did it on purpose, to make Paul realize his position as a mentor when facing an unconfident hero. Paul simply threw his face to the window, saying, "If you're not sure of your abilities, I'll guide you hard so you can. That's the solution I'll do as your mentor."

"Simple once! Bro! Ahhahahah!" Again Jeddy was excited to hear Paul's words, but that was the job of a mentor. Although it sounds simple, but actually not that simple. Jeddy looked at Koko with a big smile. "So you don't have to worry about that, B-B-Bro! Because Paul will train you hard! B-B-Bro! Heheheh!" And Jeddy looked stiff as he said his typical words to Koko.

Koko just smiled and said thank you. Seeing this, Naomi finally concluded that Koko's nature was very pessimistic, Jeddy's nature was too optimistic, and Paul's attitude was very, very authoritarian to his students.

"By the way," Paul said in a low voice. "Is your family okay being abandoned by you. Just so you know, I can't promise to send you back to Sablo city, because my job as a mentor is quite busy, tomorrow I have to rush back to find the next hero in another city. But, if you miss your family that much, I will allow you to go home, but only temporarily, because you have to come back again to be guided by me. So, how?"

Naomi was silent, she was thinking about her own condition, until finally, she answered the question casually, "I will definitely ask permission to go home to you if the longing for family begins to come. So you don't have to worry about that, Paul."

"I'm sorry, but I'm curious" Naomi said. "Why are you so fast looking for the next hero? How many heroes did you get, Paul?"

"If it counts with you, it's only six" Paul replied, exhaling. "So there are four more heroes I have to look for. But damn it, every hero lives in strange cities. Why don't you guys live in a normal town, damn it!" Naomi, Koko, and Jeddy just laughed crisply at Paul's swearing.

Until finally, the bus reached Swart City, when the vehicle flicked its pace, the four of them began to descend. Naomi was surprised by the atmosphere of Swart City which was so free and modern, everyone in this city wore open clothes and looked relaxed, unlike in Sablo which had to be closed and polite. Considering that Paul, Koko, and Jeddy are still wearing a robe, the three of them along with Naomi are unceasingly glimpsed by pedestrians with strange gazes. Naomi understands that the clothes they are wearing do not fit the culture here, but even now Paul, Jeddy, and Koko are changing clothes at the clothing store, he said, Naomi did not intend to change her clothes with them, because she wanted Sablo's culture to be preserved, no matter what city she was in. Paul along with Koko and Jeddy have changed their clothes and the series into casual clothes, Naomi is quite impressed because their appearance looks attractive.

"You sure you don't want to change clothes? You don't have to open your veil, you just change your clothes." Many times Paul offered it to Naomi, and many times Naomi refused Paul's offer. Behind her polite demeanor, the girl was really stubborn. "As far as you are. But I'm not responsible if you-"

"Paul!" Paul's speech was cut off by Jeddy's screech. They were walking on the sidewalk to get back to Paul's house. "We need to hurry to your house!"

Surprised, Paul asked, "What's up until we have to hurry to my house, huh? Just relax! My house isn't going anywhere, you idiot!"

"Not that!" Jeddy called out to Paul. "There's something I have to do in your house! And that's pretty bad! The world will end if we don't hurry to your house! Bro!"

Paul, Naomi, and Koko gasped at it. "You why... Jeddy?" asked Koko confusedly.

"The world is going to end? You mean what?" Naomi looked unhappy.

"Actually you're why! Goddamn bum! Explain it to us now!" Out of annoyance, Paul yells at Jeddy.

"I CAN'T STAND BROOO ANYMORE!" Jeddy runs away, leaving behind Paul, Koko and Naomi.

Watching Jeddy leave in a hurry, the three of them finally began to understand something that hit the green-haired man.

"I see now," Paul spoke in a soft tone, his eyes constantly looking at Jeddy's back which was already very far away, and was nodding back by Koko and Naomi.

"He is being attacked by the call of nature."
