"Is he okay!?"
When Paul found the location of Isabella and Abbas - precisely under a shady fir tree, the, not far from the grounds of the previous place-He immediately asked the state of his friend who was dying of poison to the red-haired girl. Isabella, who was sitting sweetly holding Abbas's head on her smooth thigh, turned her head slowly when she heard Paul's loud voice. Isabella smiled happily, seeing the arrival of Paul who was fine. Indeed, before Isabella was a little worried about Paul's condition, considering the person he faced was a hit man. Although the hit man is female, but the attack is quite deadly.
Thanks to that, seeing Paul can return without the slightest injury, can treat anxiety in Isabella's heart. He was really happy to see Paul.
"Calm down" Isabella responded to Paul's question while stroking Abbas' gray hair. "The poison doesn't react anymore, so I thought, he's fine."
Paul breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing Isabella's reply, he immediately sat down near the girl, leaned his back against the hard trunk of the fir tree and began to ponder something again.
"Woman," Paul muttered softly with eyes that looked at the wild grass. "I hate him."
Isabella smiled wryly, she continued stroking Abbas' gray hair. "It must be a hassle, huh?" Isabella looked Paul in the face with a clouded look. "Must face people like that." The girl began to recall the moment when Paul had a fight with Gina Orcadelia, her former daughter in Luna City. "Yesterday, you also faced something troublesome in my hometown. And now, you're facing something troublesome again here." Isabella started to wonder at something.
"Hey Paul, tell me, why are you so strong, facing problems and arguments in different cities, just to get a new hero. Why don't you get bored, have to visit a city many times with new problems anyway, isn't it very troublesome? Why don't you," Isabella held her breath for a moment. "Stop back, from your job as a Mentor?"
Paul glanced at Isabella's face as she expressed curiosity in him who never gave up and continued to carry out his duties as a mentor.
"Come on," replied Paul with origin. "I don't understand either. But obviously, I have to finish it. Because if I don't finish it, I won't be able to calm down." Paul recalled the initial question from Isabella. "And as for 'why am I that strong in dealing with problems in each city just to get a new hero', I don't think that needs to be answered."
"Eh?" Isabella. "Why could that be? Answer, dong!?"
"Have you ever heard of a weak little fish being put together with a flesh-eating fish in a bucket of water?"
"I've never heard of it, what's the story about it?"
Paul smiled at his thin smile. "That's not a very important story! But, the meaning was very deep," Paul began to tell it briefly. "So, when a man put the little fish alone in a bucket, he looks like he wants to die, even though the bucket is filled with water and provided with special food, but it is still free. The little fish still looked dying. But" Paul's smile grew. "When the human tried to put a predatory fish in the same bucket, the little fish, which had previously been seen wanting to die, woke up and looked panicked. When the predator caught up with it, the little fish swam around the bucket quickly to keep it from being eaten. They swam around in the bucket. And what do you think could be the meaning of that little fucking fish story!?"
Isabella began to understand him and nodded her head.
"Yes" Paul nodded his head. "Living quietly without conflict is a longing for everyone, but it can also backfire on them. Because his life would be boring, and gradually, they would die from prolonged saturation! But, if compounded with a little problem, human passions will flare up, they will try to solve the problem in order to live a quiet life! And when problem one is done, comes again a new problem, and they do the same thing as before. Living with many problems may sound troublesome, but if viewed from another point of view, it can be used as a reason why we can live until now! Problems don't just kill us! Problems also make us feel challenged and live on!"
Paul looked into Isabella's eyes fixedly saying, "Therefore, I will never get bored in the face of various problems! Whatever the case may be, I'll smash it to pieces! If it shows up again, I'll destroy it again! That's so! My life principles!"
Silent.
Realizing Isabella did not respond, Paul became a little irritated. "Oi! Say something! Don't ignore me!"
Isabella immediately regained consciousness from her daydream and giggled small, laughing at her own strange behavior. "Sorry, I was stunned when I heard your life principle, it was so great that I stared unconsciously." Isabella shook her head. "I didn't expect a delinquent like you, who likes to talk rudely to others, to have such a fine principle of life. I'm getting more and more interested in your juniors."
Paul's face immediately reddened, like a ripe apple, when he heard the joke Isabella said.
"Ah, by the way," Isabella said again, remembering something. "What about Lizzie? Why isn't she with you?"
"My company? For what!?"
"Eh? Isn't he our new hero? Why didn't you bring her here? You beat him, didn't you?"
"No!" Paul growled when he remembered the face of the tomboy. "There's no way I'm taking him for granted after he did that to Abbas! I'll destroy it before I get him to join us! But unfortunately, he had run away somewhere! Goddamnit!"
Isabella. "Snow?"
"Yes, he ran away from me. I don't know why he left, but that's obvious! I'm a little satisfied! Because I have thrown my anger in his face!"
"You hit him?"
"Yes." Yeah." Paul glanced in Abbas's face. "From that! We have to get him to the hospital! Before the poison react!"
Isabella nodded her head and let Paul carry Abbas' limp body by lifting him to the mentor's back - painstakingly assisted by Isabella.
Finally, Paul, holding Abbas' body, walked quietly in the quiet yard with Isabella, to go to the nearest hospital in Barasta City. But really, Abbas's weight is completely insane, Paul to death while carrying him. At each step, the load felt heavier, his breathing even felt tight, like carrying large furniture.
Isabella giggled a little at Paul who was frenzied in trying to carry Abbas to his destination. Paul's entire body seemed to be flushed completely, perhaps his blood stiffened from lifting such a heavy weight. But that is natural, because Abbas has a high and large body size. Even Isabella thought, it took two to three people to lift Abbas' body, and when she saw Paul could do it alone, it was great. Isabella was impressed by Paul's strength, although his body was smaller than Abbas', but he still tried his hardest to lift him. That's worth appreciating, it's great.
"The problem is always coming to change, huh?" Isabella held back her laughter as much as possible. "And now, Abbas's body is your problem, Paul."
"Not a lot of talk! Goddamn bum!"
Unable to hold it any longer, Isabella finally laughed out loud laughing at the silly-looking Paul. And Paul tries to ignore Isabella's infuriating attitude so that she quickly gets to her destination, the hospital.
