MINERVO 51: You Are Strong Once

"W-Why..," Colin slumped, his knee immediately falling to the ground after witnessing the horrifying sight surrounding him. "WHY IS IT LIKE THIS!?"

Today, all the places around Colin, destroyed, the rickety hut that was once Abbas's residence, have now collapsed completely, leaving only fragments of the hut building, he said, like wood, boards, doors, rooms, and such, scattered on the ground. Completely crushed to pieces.

The rain became increasingly heavy, making the body of everyone who was there drenched.

And not only that that made Colin stunned until his eyes bulged and tears flowed, it was due to the condition of Paul, Nico, and Abbas which was very sad. Yes, the three of them, at this moment, were lying limp in front of Colin, their bodies were drenched in blood, and their blood was rushing on the surface of the ground, driven by the flow of rainwater, he said, it caused the location they occupied, so it appeared to be a flood of blood.

Paul, Nico, and Abbas are unconscious, they are being attacked by the White Robes blindly, and Colin was shocked because the robed men used stones that came out of the palm when brutally attacking his friends. And therefore, Colin remembered the incident of hail that had occurred at the location of his workplace. Judging from the stones, Colin was sure that they were the same stones as he saw when the incident took place. However, Colin quickly forgot about it, because it was no longer important.

Those people, consumed with anger at hearing the ridicule from Nico whose words, demeaned them, until finally, they all agreed to attack Colin's friends in a very terrible way. Until the surface of the land at the location where Abbas lived, so it was filled with scattered rocks.

Colin was shaken, his throat until sick because from then on he kept screaming hysterically to see his friends attacked all out by the hordes of people in white robes, to the condition of Paul, Nico, to the condition of Paul, and Abbas lay unconscious, with blood pouring out of the wounds they had received all over. Truly, Colin did not know what to do, because he was confused, why he was alone who was not attacked at all by the robed people, why only Paul, Nico, and so on, and Abbas was attacked? Colin doesn't understand that.

But, even though his body was unharmed, Colin's soul was devastated. Just imagine, you are required to watch your friends brutally attacked by a group of robed men, you also have to see the bodies of your friends injured, slammed, hit, slammed, until bloody. And you should hear the voice of your friends who groan in pain in front of you, but you don't know what to do to help your friends, because your opponent has a powerful force that can remove large stones from his hands. If you just move a little bit, the stones will hit you, to be honest, Colin was so scared at the time, that he didn't realize that he had let Paul, Nico, go, abbas suffered before him.

It was really upsetting, and it was horrible.

Colin's entire body trembled, like a starving man, his face paled, his breathing gasped, his chest bursting, his heart pumping faster than usual, and the blood in his body, he said, swish not bad.

When Colin's soul was shaken to see his comrades wounded before him, the white-robed men were standing lined up a few steps further from where he stood. The robed men chuckled at Colin, weeping over Paul, Nico and Abbas who were unconscious.

The white-bearded grandfather, who was the leader of the white robes, let out his voice loudly, in order to be heard by Colin from the sound of such heavy rain.

"You must be curious, right?" said the Bearded Grandpa to Colin with a shitty ruckus. "Why are you the only one we don't hurt? Why are your friends the only ones we hurt? And why are we able to get the stone out of the palm, isn't that so?"

Slowly, Colin stared at the several heads that were lined up far in front of him, and his gaze began to be focused on the figure of the grandfathers who were grinning evilly at him. Colin gulped down his saliva, as his nose sobbed in anguish at the sight of his friends falling down before him.

"It's because of you" said the Grandfather, continuing his words, with eyes looking down on Colin. "It is appropriate to serve as an object of entertainment for us." The Grandfather chuckled again with an irritating look. "And the stones that we took out of the palm of the hand, it was because of the grace of the Lord, that we obtained such a mighty power. Actually it was a very bad act, playing around with someone emotionally, and I also often scolded the children, so as not to do that. But sometimes, I do too," Grandpa exhaled. "How else, watching someone who was screaming at seeing his friends being slaughtered by us, it was a very entertaining spectacle. But take it easy, we haven't really killed them yet. We're still playing around, just to see your poor expression. But now," Grandpa began to grin. "We're gonna really kill your friends."

Hearing that, Colin's eyes immediately widened, he was shocked. Just be right! Colin was upset, he couldn't believe that what they had done to Paul, Nico, and Abbas, was just playing around!? Though clearly they attacked Colin's friends blindly, mercilessly, until bloody, and they casually said, that it was just a joke!?

"B-B-DICK!" Due to the outpouring of emotion unstoppable, finally Colin immediately spouted harsh words at them, as Paul usually let out while being angry. But, Colin said it while having wet eyes, draining the tears that soaked his cheeks. His lips trembled, so his words sounded a bit nervous. But really, when it comes to anger, Colin is the champion, because he is very angry. He could no longer continue to remain silent in fear, especially when those white-robed people would attack his friends again .

"You sure about that?" Grandpa nodded his head. "Then, I respect your decision," Then, Grandfather turned to his subordinates standing behind him. "Focus your attacks only on that little brat, try not to let your attacks hit the boys lying on the ground. You got it, Kids?"

"STOMP!" The white-robed men replied in unison. Then, with each hand raised, they began to focus their attacks on Colin who was struggling in a disputable location.

And Colin, venturing out shouting in a very loud voice at the white-robed people, so that his neck veins stood out. "ATTACK ME! NOW!"

It turned out to be true, white lights began to glow in each palm of the white-robed people, now, the Bearded Grandpa also raised his hand. And finally, darted, boulders from their palms, flying consecutively towards where Colin was drenched in rain.

"I'm sorry, guys," Before the boulders hit him, Colin closed his eyes tightly while saying something. "Because all this time I've been bothering you guys" Colin's sweat started pouring out. "I'm glad to see you guys" Colin's tears drip, but he puts on a faint smile. "Thank you and goodbye."

BRACKET! BRACKET! BRACKET! BRACKET!

The giant stones hit Colin's entire body mercilessly, until he rolled into the trees, and the stones still continue to shower his body brutally.

"Leg loser like me," Colin said as his body rolled on the ground. "Indeed worthy of a terrible end like this," Colin stared at the surface of the cloudy sky with a grimacing face. "I want to be a valiant hero, but it seems, impossible."

As despair approached him, Colin reluctantly accepted it, as if raising his arms wide, letting the despair tear his body apart. It hurt, but somehow, it was calming. Because Colin has no hope in the world anymore. After all, if he were to die or live, no one would care about him. Everyone always dumped him. Yeah, everybody.

"Ah, it seems like there's enough to get here," Suddenly a familiar voice sounded in Colin's ear, as he was almost unconscious. "Thank you for your struggles - Paul, Nico, Abbas, and Colin - but don't worry, because I won't let you die that easily by weak humans like them. For your enemies are not these people, your enemies will be more terrible than these White Robes."

After saying that, suddenly there was the sound of something frozen hard, and shattered into pieces in an instant, like the sound of broken glass. Colin could not move to just look at the source of the sound, because his body was being hit by large stones. But Colin was sure, that the person who had spoken earlier was the Mysterious Pale Man Roswel, and the sound of the shards, must have come from the power of the person.

However, Colin's consciousness began to dim like the light of a lamp about to go out, as blood continued to splatter throughout his body. He became very weak and was no longer able to withstand the throbbing pain in each open wound on his body. Until finally, Colin's eyes slowly began to close, perfectly.

The bodies of Paul, Nico, Abbas and Colin lay weakly on the ground in the rain after freezing and breaking the white-robed people, Roswel began to turn his gaze to the four figures lying on the wet ground.

Roswel smiled faintly at their condition.

"You are so strong."

The next day, Paul was suddenly shocked, because when his eyes opened, he found himself lying in a very foreign place.
