MINERVO 25: Change of Mind

Nico kept asking Roswel questions about the irregularities he saw and heard from the man in the robe. Cherry, who was also there, was surprised by the appearance of Roswel who seemed surprised, his heart almost dislodged because of it. But the thing is, even if what Roswel says is true, it still sounds very strange in Nico's ears. Because the phenomenon of fantasy in the modern world is very impossible and not suitable. And also, the so-called hero also managed to make Nico amazed, because according to him, the function of the hero in modern times feels unnecessary, because in this age there are already military forces in charge of protecting the world. "Whoah!" Jeddy is flabbergasted to see the figure of Nico who is standing behind the house without a door, even though the door has been destroyed by Cherry. "We'll see you again! And wow! Is this your house!? But why isn't there a door, Bro!?"

"It turns out your stupidity is worse than your friends, huh? Isn't it obvious? My door has been blown. And who do you think blew it up? Heh! That's because of that cute ass of shit." sambar Nico with a cynical look at Jeddy while glancing at Cherry. "But really, I don't think why do you, the trash of society, know where my house is? Oh, let me guess, you guys must know that from this guy who calls himself 'Roswel', right?" Nico glanced at the figure of Roswel who was in front of him.

"Hey Paul!" Colin patted Paul on the shoulder with a troubled face. "As long as we meet this arrogant fellow, why don't you just explain the 'it' thing to him!? Isn't the sooner the better, because I'm starting to feel like he's getting more annoying."

Hearing this, Paul nodded his head, agreeing to Colin's suggestion, and the black-haired man immediately stepped up to Nico with his face. Although Nico actually had a bit of goosebumps looking at Paul's face, but he remained arrogant, maintaining his high self-esteem.

Looking at the long box that Paul thrust at him, made Nico speechless, until finally his attention was raised to the face of Paul who was throwing his face to the side.

"You're serious?" Nico was surprised, because he was convinced, the contents of the long box thrust by Paul is a new glasses. And worse, yet, Nico was amazed when he realized that on the side of the long box there is a brand emblem of a famous eyeglass company that always produces and markets its products with very good quality and very high prices expensively. And even more crazy, the glasses Paul bought are the latest type that is now trending on the internet. Nico's eyes twinkled at the long box until he finally unconsciously took the object from Paul's grasp and hugged it tightly while grimacing.

Watching Nico's behavior, making Paul furrow his brows in shock, Jeddy holding back his laughter, Colin tilting his head in astonishment, Cherry grieving in annoyance and Roswel shaking his head with a smile. They are currently looking at a different side of Nico than usual.

Aware of having shown his humiliating side in front of the people, Nico hurriedly flicked it, and went back to being as arrogant as before. And in a loud voice, Nico said, "Heh! Who would have thought a delinquent like you could actually buy an expensive item like this, surprisingly, but thank you. I'm so happy" Nico said with a snort. "One more, about something related to 'heroes' and such. Refused it. I don't want to be a hero, because it's a shame. But," Nico cleared his throat. "If you insist, maybe I change my mind."
