MINERVO 13: For the First Time, They Meet

After the end of the tension in Groen City, that night, Paul tells Jeddy to return to his city. But, for some reason, Jeddy suddenly intercepts Paul by standing on the road that the boy was about to cross, as if he did not want the delinquent to return home.

"Fuck, get out of there! You're blocking my way!"

Jeddy exhaled, his green hair swaying in the wind. His emerald bead looked Paul in the eyes, its crisp laughter starting to come out casually. "Hahaha, sorry, bro," said Jeddy, unmindful of Paul looking very upset. "I didn't mean to get in your way, it's just.., you know, didn't I, Bro? After my family was imprisoned, I already had no one else at home, hahaha! You could say, I would be lonely if I was alone there, so, I mean, could I not? For a while I stayed at your house, Bro?"

"Huh!?" Paul jerks. "What the fuck!? You want to stay at my house!? Can't! You must stay in your own city! Anyway one day I'll be here again for-"

"Haha! Its alright. If I can't, I'm not forcing. Just relax, Bro! Well then, be careful on the road, yeah, Bro!" Jeddy came to Paul and put his right arm around the grumpy neck in a relaxed manner.

Hearing Jeddy's resigned tone, Paul felt a little guilty. Then, stiff and stammered, Paul replied, "If it's only been two days, anyway! B-Could it! But it's up to you!" Jeddy smiled broadly at him, he was overjoyed at Paul's reply.

"Haha! You're serious, Bro!?" Jeddy instantly ruffled Paul's black hair with a crisp laugh. "Then, thank you, yeah, Bro! I'm so happy! Ahaha!"

Later, Paul and Jeddy leave Groen City on an inter-city bus that happens to be on the latest schedule because they boarded it at nine p.m. On the way, the two of them did not talk much. Maybe it was because they were sleepy, but they had to stay awake so that the bus was not missed from Swart City; where Paul lived.

Arriving at the Swart City bus stop, they got off the vehicle with a stagger so sleepy. Then force yourself to walk to Paul's house because it is not too far from the stop. The two of them continued to step up and stepped in the silence of the extremely silent night in Swart City. The sounds of wolf and dog howls adorned the atmosphere that night, making Jeddy rather horrified to hear them. While Paul did not care much about it because part of his consciousness had gone to dreamland.

"God! Paul's! Where did you actually go, anyway!? Till these nights just got home!? And who is this young man!?"

Paul's birth mother was shocked to see her son with a foreigner coming in sleepy in front of the gate of his house. The woman immediately opened the gate after Paul pressed the bell of his house continuously until he panicked to hear it.

"Later I'll explain, now let us in first, ma'am," said Paul in a faint voice, unable to bear to sleep. "We've been so sleepy, ma'am."

"H-Hai Aunty. I am Jeddy, a friend of Paul from Groen City." said Jeddy to Paul's mother, trying to introduce himself kindly, even though his face was very sleepy.

The woman was indeed confused as to why her son was able to go home this late, but since it seemed that they both looked very tired, she finally allowed Paul and Jeddy to go inside. After entering the house, Paul invites Jeddy to go straight to his room, so there is no need to mince words with his mother. And Jeddy had to obey Paul's will, even though he actually felt bad if he did not talk for a while with Paul's mother.

"Where do you want to sleep? My mattress can only be occupied by one person, if you want, you can sleep on top! Let me be downstairs!" paul said firmly, as he spoke, he also picked up another sheet in his closet to make a bed on the floor.

"Well, I don't have a problem sleeping anywhere," After that, Jeddy immediately jumped onto the soft surface of the mattress and hugged Paul's pillow roll. "Thank you for the offer. I went straight to sleep, yeah, Bro." After saying that, Jeddy closed his eyelids and immediately snored quite loudly.

Hearing Jeddy's snoring made Paul, who was lying on the floor, annoyed. The snoring made him unable to sleep. "Whisper! You're not the only one sleeping here! Goddamn bum!" So upset, Paul immediately kicked Jeddy in the face - who was enjoying his sleep - until the boy fell to the side of the mattress.

Satisfied by Jeddy's agony, Paul hurriedly closed his eyes before the snoring sound could be heard again. And finally, Paul managed to fall asleep in a comfortable position. While Jeddy was shocked because he suddenly collapsed, and, he immediately returned to his comfortable position on the bed and considered that what had happened just now by his own actions - which may be his sleeping position too to the side - when the actual incident was not so.

The next day, Paul awakens from his sleep after the sun's light hits his eyelids. After cleaning the bedding on the floor, Paul immediately went to the bathroom, leaving Jeddy still asleep in his bed. After washing his body in the bathroom, he returned to the room to wear a long black shirt with dark blue jeans.

Jeddy who had just woken up from his sleep, shocked to see Paul's appearance that already looked neat, he moved from the mattress and asked with hair that was still disheveled. "Wow! Are you going to school, bro? But why are you wearing such clothes? Oh, maybe your school doesn't have a uniform system, huh? That's so cool, Bro!"

Upset at Jeddy's mischievous remarks, Paul turned his gaze to the newly awakened figure. "Rather than you keep bragging, you better take a shower! Bastard!"

"Haha!" Jeddy overhears Paul's rude response. "But this is serious, Bro! Your look looks cool! Actually, I've always wanted to get into a school like that, because you don't have to wear a boring uniform that seems old-fashioned, right, Bro? Ahaha!"

"Stupid!" Paul immediately yelled at Jeddy after hearing the pretentious words. "I'm no longer a schoolboy! Because I was expelled by the school a few days ago! And also, my school adheres to the uniform system! So don't act like you know everything about me, asshole!"

That leaves Jeddy wide-eyed, not expecting Paul to be kicked out of school. That meant, his conjecture from the start was already very wrong. Jeddy really doesn't know about it. He felt ashamed of himself.

"Yahoo!" Jeddy's mouth opened very wide when he said that. "You're kidding me, right, Bro!?"

"Forget it!" hardik Paul with bulging eyes. "Now you take a quick shower, you idiot! Because we're leaving soon!"

"B-Depart!?" Jeddy's amazed. "If not to go to school, then where are you going this early in the morning, bro?"

Of course Jeddy was astonished to hear Paul's words, because the boy had just said that he had been expelled from his school. If not for school, where would Paul go? Jeddy was really confused. Jeddy begins to guess; is it possible that Paul will go to adult clubs? As he usually does if he is stressed and depressed when facing severe pressure in his life. Paul thinks Jeddy's response will be the same as Colin's, which is to laugh at him, but it's not at all. Jeddy nodded his head and immediately picked up the towel hanging behind the door and stepped out of the room towards the bathroom. After Jeddy's existence completely disappears, Paul opens his phone to order a meal at an online store.

Waiting for a few minutes, there was a knock on the front door of the house, which signaled Paul's order had arrived, delivered by a courier from the online store. Paul came down from his room and opened the door.

"Your order has arrived! Sorry for waiting for lam-EH!?"

The courier looked shocked when he saw the face of the order, Paul who had just looked at his order so jolted at the words of his courier and inevitably he had to lift his head to look at the courier's face. And Paul was shocked too.

"You're that fucking Colin, right!?" paul asked the courier to make sure there were no misunderstandings.

"P-Paul! It turns out you really are Paul who came to the store yesterday, right!?! Fuck up! You're just gonna surprise me!" colin said in a tight tone so happy to meet Paul again. "So you live around here, huh? In this case, I can often play at your house, dong! Because the location of my house is not too far from here!"

Quickly Paul snatched his order still held by Colin, then he threw his payday paper into the courier's face violently. "Not a lot of talk! Go already there! I'm sick of seeing your idiot face!"

Hearing that, Colin immediately put a face to Paul, after he put the payment into his pocket. "You were rude to me. Comeon! aren't we already connected to the mentor-hero bond!? You're my mentor, right!? So when are you going to lead me to become a real hero!? You know, no, I'm always waiting for you at the tavern, hoping you'll come back! But you didn't show up! And see? God has finally brought us back! Ahaha!"

"How noisy you are, you son of a bitch!" reply Paul with a very fiery face.

"By the way," Colin said in a curious tone. "It seems like your appearance is very neat, where are you going, Paul?"

Just as Paul was about to answer the question, Jeddy suddenly appeared bare-chested and wrapped in a towel behind him. Looks like Jeddy just finished a bath, his green hair looks wet.

"That sounds really exciting, are you talking to someone? Who is he, Bro?"

And for the first time Jeddy and Colin met each other, they stared at each other in a few seconds, until they finally grieved each other.

"Is he your friend, Paul?" colin asked, looking in surprise at Jeddy.

"Hm? Of course, I'm a friend of Paul's. So, who are you, bro? Is Paul's friend too? But it looks like you're just a courier, hehe!" jeddy said with a big smile on Colin.

Hearing Jeddy's words, Colin was a bit offended. "Just a courier?" reiterate Colin with a suppressed tone, so anxious at the attitude of Jeddy who seemed to underestimate him.

"But, that's right, right? You're just a courier, aren't you, Bro?" Jeddy smiled his smile wider at Colin.

Exasperated to see Jeddy and Colin constantly throwing insinuations in front of him, Paul immediately snapped at them both loudly.

"If you want to fight, please go outside! Not in front of my house! Goddamn bum!"

Colin and Jeddy were silent, and a few seconds later they both remembered something.

"Wait a minute! Emm. lest you be.", said Colin pointing at Jeddy enthusiastically. "... A hero after me, huh?"

"I remember now! Paul also told me that he had a hero before me! And his name isn't wrong, Colin, is it!? Waw! That means I was talking to a hero! Cool! You are my senior! Bro!"

And finally, Jeddy and Colin shook hands with pride, throwing each other happy smiles. Unlike before, they both look very familiar. It made Paul, who was watching their behavior, shake his head.

"Based on those lousy heroes!"
