MINERVO 41: I am the King

"Eh? Why am I here?"

Naomi is shocked when she realizes that she is sitting on the chair of a seedy and deserted restaurant. In front of him was a beautiful girl with long purple hair who was also sitting on a chair, facing each other between one table. The two of them sat on a chair whose table was attached to a windowed wall, and so Naomi from her chair could look up at the clear blue sky, the camels that lined the edge of the road, and magnificent buildings that stand firm and observe the city community that is milling around the sidewalk, busy with their respective affairs. Then, as the beautiful figure began to open her mouth, Naomi quickly turned her eyes to the figure.

"Because... Paul ordered me to take you to a safe place, and I think this is a pretty safe place, because here the atmosphere is soothing."

Just as Naomi was about to respond to the girl's words, she was shocked by her bandaged face and head, and the surfaces of her arms and legs were bandaged together, covering gaping and throbbing wounds. "When has my body been bandaged like this?" Naomi raised her arms, watching the bandage cloth that covered her two hands. "And my goodness!" Naomi groped her head and she gasped as her yellow strands of hair turned out to be easily touched by her hands, which meant that she was not currently covering her head with a veil and according to her, it was very dangerous. "Don't as long as you bring me here, my head isn't covered with a veil?" Then Naomi's eyes widened, made aware of something else. "Why don't you also cover your hair with a veil? Aren't you a girl? Geez, if the people of Adam see, we will be exposed to a great sin!" Suddenly, Naomi immediately called a waitress who was on guard, and said that she with a purple-haired figure needed a hood.

Understanding that, the waitress ran to the staff room, seconds later, the waitress came out of the room with two pieces of yellow and purple cloth, and the cloths were immediately given to Naomi and the supposed figure of a girl. Naomi swiftly put the yellow cloth on her head and tidied for a moment until it became a full veil, covering her yellow hair that was broken apart. While the figure of the girl in front of Naomi, just stay in her chair, without once touching the purple cloth lying on the table.

Surprised, Naomi asked, "What are you waiting for? Come on, quickly cover your hair with the cloth before Adam's customers come to this restaurant," Suddenly, Naomi thought of something. "Oh, don't-don't you be an Eris, huh?" Then, gracefully, Naomi lifted her butt from the chair and approached the figure while picking up the purple cloth lying on the table. Naomi was standing behind the figure. "No problem, if you don't know how to wear a veil, then I'll put it on for you. Take it easy, even if you are an Eris, covering your hair is the duty of every woman. So, let's get started."

Without agreement, Naomi, with her hands wrapped in bandages, began to attach the purple cloth to the girl's head with long purple hair. With a super soft touch, Naomi fixed the parts that look tangled until finally, the veil of her work has been printed on the head of the figure, covering the long purple hair that had previously been freely scratched. Quickly Naomi sat back in her chair to look at the appearance of the girl sitting in front of her. Naomi smiled faintly at the change from the figure in front of her, this time the girl looked cooler than before by wearing a veil. Truly, a beauty that could not be expressed in words, Naomi could not bear to hug the girl.

"How's it?" naomi asked with a faint smile that expanded on her lips on the figure in front of her. "How do you feel after wearing a veil?" Naomi could guess. "It sure feels soothing, right? I know, really. Because I am too. If I was wearing a veil, for some reason, my heart felt serene and peaceful, like-" Naomi's words were cut off suddenly.

"Actually, I am a man" the figure said, bowing his head. "My name is Koko, and I'm not a woman." Naomi furrowed her brows, looking in disbelief. "And I'm the one who covered all your wounds with a bandage. I did it when you fell unconscious. I don't know why you suddenly fainted, but it seems like the pain from your injuries is what made you faint. When I brought you from that narrow alley, you still hadn't fainted and were able to ask me who I was, '" Then, slowly, slowly, Koko lifted her head to look at Naomi who was already hooded. "Then, if you ask me how I feel when my hair is covered with a veil, to be honest, I do feel calm and peaceful, and I love it. But, like I said, I'm a man, not a woman, so, "When Koko was about to remove the purple veil that covered her head, she said, Naomi immediately stood up from her chair and grabbed Koko's right arm that was about to move.

"Don't!" Naomi, with a roaring breath, tried to stop Koko's hand from releasing the veil. "Don't let go!"

"W-Why?" Koko frowned, feeling confused by this situation. "I'm an Eris, and I'm a man. I don't deserve to wear a kerud-"

"I think you deserve to wear it" Koko's remark was cut off by Naomi. "I don't understand why I said that either, but I'm sure you deserve to wear it. Because, judging from any side, you look like a girl and believe me, I'm not lying."

For a moment, Koko was surprised to hear Naomi's words and actually, she was quite happy, but, she kept moving her hands until finally the veil that was shackled to her head, came off perfectly, completely, showing off his long purple hair that was fluttering about was buffeted by the strong wind coming through the window. "Sorry," said Koko while tidying the purple cloth on the surface of the table. "But it seems like people like me aren't fit to wear this thing."

Naomi sighed, she was completely shocked by this puzzling reality. It turned out that the world was indeed full of mysteries, a lot of surprising things appeared on the face of this earth, such as the presence of this beautiful figure sitting before him. No one would have thought if it turned out that the beautiful figure was a man, Naomi also did. Because of this incident, Naomi learned a valuable lesson, namely; beauty is not only owned by a woman, men can have it. And when a man gets a beauty, the world will be fooled by his appearance.

"Alright, I understand, it's okay" Naomi said with a very clear disappointed look. "Oh, I almost forgot to say this," Naomi's eyeballs focused on Koko's beautiful face. "Thank you so much for helping me out of those white robes, I'm really grateful to you" And Naomi suddenly remembered something. "But it seems like the one who helped me wasn't just you, huh? I feel like there's two more people helping me."

"Yes" Koko smiled hearing that. "They are... Paul and Jeddy" said Koko with a happy-looking face. "They went straight into that narrow alley after hearing your voice. I, too, was ordered by Paul to take you to safety, and right now they're both still there, facing off against those robed men." Instantly, Koko's expression turned sour. "I hope they're okay."

Naomi smiled and said, "Yes, you're right, I hope they're okay there. Because after all, they were good people" Naomi recalled the incident that happened this morning. "And I think one of them was a man who met me in front of a place of worship" Naomi began to feel guilty. "I humbled her because she was an Eris, but now she was protecting me" Naomi's lips trembled. "It is so low that I judge that all humans who do not embrace the Blanca religion are lost and evil. In fact, you guys look better than me. Rather, I am here the evil one for looking at you so contemptuously," Naomi's tears sagged in silence. "I'm sorry."

Paul scolded hearing that, "I don't care what kind of person you are, as I know, you're just an arrogant chatty girl with a power a little higher than ours, but look? We just fell your friends, you're scared like that. Aren't you here who looks like a kid? Hm!?"

Jeddy heard Paul's words. "Huhahah! Don't do it, Bro! You can hurt her heart!" Then Jeddy's gaze was turned on Liona who was growling in annoyance. Jeddy smiled at me. "But I also can't forgive your evil behavior for hurting my dear Naomi."

Clenching both her hands tightly, Liona shouted, "DISGUST! YOU'RE DISGUSTING! ESPECIALLY YOU," Liona pointed at Jeddy with glaring eyes. "YOU'RE MORE DISGUSTING THAN YOUR FRIEND!"

"Haha!" In response, Jeddy just laughed, then he turned to Paul. "Certainly it!? Bro!? I'm this disgusting!?"

Paul answered casually, "Yes, you are disgusting, you son of a bitch." Jeddy suddenly heard Paul's reply. "But the girl is more disgusting than you" Paul said in a serious tone. Then, Paul walked slowly, approaching Liona who was standing alone as other white-robed people lay on the ground, while both hands were still holding two Jeddy-given pistols.

"What do you want to get close to me!?" Liona retreated her steps from Paul who was approaching her. "If you touch my body just a little bit, I'll throw a bigger rock at you!"

Paul also stopped his steps. "Just calm down, your friends no one's dead, we've been deliberating not to shoot the vital parts. We just shot their feet and hands. But forget about it, I want to ask you something, "Paul immediately showed his oppressive face to Liona. "Are you the perpetrators of an event that happened in one of the taverns in Swart City? Answer honestly!"

Hearing that, Liona sneered cunningly. "It's great that you guessed it right," Liona looked at Paul face arrogantly. "Oh! I remember now! You're one of those kids who hit the heavenly stones we threw, huh? Surprisingly, being able to meet you again here, is this what fate calls?"

Paul closed his eyes while taking a deep breath, and exhaled slowly, then, he reopened his eyelids. "I understand now" said Paul in a soft voice. Then Paul immediately raised the gun he held in his left hand, then pointed it right on Liona's forehead. "I'm pulling my words, you all have to die here."

DOR'S!

Liona was wide-eyed as the gun Paul pointed at her forehead let out a high-speed bullet until it finally made an ear-splitting sound, but the severe part was not that, because right now, it was, the bullet had shot and penetrated to the back of his head. "A-What-you-" Liona had not yet finished her words, the creeping pain began to spread all over her body until she could not move her mouth anymore to speak. Until finally, Liona's body collapsed to the ground, along with her friends who were grimacing in pain. But, unlike her other companions, Liona could not even grimace in pain like them, as her life was gone. The front and back of Liona's head were hollowed out, giving off a very thick red liquid, making the ground where she lay, so flooded with her fresh blood.

"You'll take care of it, Jeddy" said Paul, throwing the two guns in any direction. Then Paul turned around, walking handsomely with a cold face, then when he reached near Jeddy, he whispered to his green friend. "Kill them all." Jeddy heard it.

"You sure, Bro!?"

Paul smiled coldly. "Yes, after all, you're used to killing humans, right? In fact, I became like this thanks to your direction in Groen City. Because long ago, I was very shaken after killing a human. But now," Paul patted Jeddy on the shoulder and walked back to leave his green friend from the narrow alley. "I am the king."
