“Gate will open in a matter of three! One, two ..., three!”
Brak!
Dozens of men in uniforms, complete with headgear and large weapons in hand, walked quickly in rows entering the parking lot of the Cakrabuana Playground. Both of their eyes were alert, looking to and fro. Make sure that there is no sign of life there. There were only four-wheeled vehicles parked, staying in their respective places while waiting for their owners to return.
While outside, other officers were busy monitoring the situation through monitors showing footage from cameras attached to the bodies of each gunman. They watched everything as if they were also conducting a live stampede, instead of bending themselves inside a narrow vehicle to watch through the glass screen.
“Pak, the families of the victims started demanding the latest information. It's been a long time since we last told them,” said one of the men who had just come panting.
The leader in the vehicle was upset. “Send they wait a little while longer! My troops have already started to enter that hell park at the risk of life!” Shaking his head, he looked back at the monitor. “Basic! People out there can only sue! If you can't help, at least wait! In a moment we will also give the bodies of their families!”
“This place is clean!” shouted one of the gunmen towards the microphone on his body. His voice was clearly heard in the ears of the other squad members as well as the men outside the gate. Making the man who had been grumbling then silent. “We will open the next gate soon.”
After confirming that they had sealed off the first gate they had passed, they, men who act as leaders begin to pay attention to the other gates that are now their only protectors from the terrible creatures in the Cakrabuana Playground. The commander involuntarily swallowed his saliva. From behind the iron gate gap, he could see many lifeless bodies lying down. Just a quick glance can tell that most of them are teenagers who may not be near the age of 20 years.
The commander ordered several men in uniform to kneel near the gate and watch the situation inside. The soldiers followed orders. Carefully, they also aimed their rifle barrel inside. Be prepared to shoot anything that can deter them from entering the Playground area.
After making sure the situation was safe, as well as the first gate they had closed again, they started to open the second gate using heavy equipment. The sound they caused was so loud, that they had to go back to be alert for signs of the arrival of zombies. However, just like earlier, they were only greeted by silence. The sounds of typical Playground songs are heard from some speakers that are still functioning. The men refrained from scowling at the hurtful mood.
Just like earlier, they closed the second gate after everyone entered. Not wanting to risk another being passing through that gate to get out into the vast world.
The headgear that the troops were using at this moment did not completely block their noses from smelling the smell around. The fishy smell, the smell of burning goods, damp, and other unpleasant smells immediately invaded them. However, they show no discomfort and begin to check the circumstances.
While his men began to scatter to check the situation a few meters from the gate, the commander walked slowly. Look at the bodies lying there.
“Did they die right before trying to get out of this gate?” mumbling slowly. He crouched down and put his gun on the asphalt. While both of his hands he used to flip the body face down.
His glove-clad hand trembled at the horror before his eyes.
A woman who the Commander estimated to be over 20 years old, looked gaping with horror depicted in both eyes. On his scarred face were also traces of wet, possibly tear. Judging from the clothes worn, it seemed that the woman was a teacher. The commander reached into the pocket and found a wallet that was still intact.
“Danita Ayudisha,” she said slowly. Read the information listed on the card in the wallet. “Malang once his fate.”
Without a second thought, the Commander called out to the other troops who were preparing to wait for his order. The troops then came carrying several large bags and stretchers. They wrapped Danita's body and other bodies lying not far from there.
Within a short time, several body bags had lined up. They have not lifted him out using a stretcher because there has been no order.
One of the soldiers opened fire. The commander turned his head while frowning.
The girl's face looks very beautiful even though it is decorated with many wounds. He was wearing a white ash uniform complete with a name description attached to the chest.
Trisha Zyanni's.
“What was there just enough teenagers like him?” ask the commander.
“Really, Sir! In addition to this girl, there are four teenage boys as well as one other girl who is not wearing a uniform and does not carry an identity card.”
Finding his conjecture correct, the Commander simply nodded his head and resumed his search. Both of his eyes were so focused on looking forward that he almost fell down due to stumbling over a soft and soft object.
“What is this doll?” He wondered while lifting a foreign object that almost caused him harm. It looked like a teddy bear, although some parts had been torn apart, and one of its legs had been lost. The man then removes the stain that covers the middle.
The writing of ‘Aron’ is again clearly visible, and again the Commander must control his own emotions.
‘There are so many children trapped in this Playground. Of course most of them are enjoying time with family while carrying a favorite item,’ he thought. Without hesitation he threw the doll in any direction and started walking quickly to help his comrades comb the area around. ‘The world is getting crazy. I can only follow the current to survive.’
The deeper they entered the Playground region, they began to resort to using weapons to immobilize the strange creatures that suddenly lunged towards them and attacked blindly. Although it turned out that the remaining zombies were much less than expected, the Commander nevertheless ordered all members of the troops to be on alert.
“Everything remains calm and open your eyes wide! Don't think too much and kill every creature that moves!” tell the commander. “They are no longer human. We must do all we can to prevent them from roaming freely outside this place!”
The troops moved faster, given the darkening of the day.
“Quite a while too until you guys come.”
The commander turned his head, hearing a voice that was quite familiar to him. He lowered his weapon and smiled cynically at the person who had just greeted him unfriendly.
“Hai, Fikram! Your condition doesn't look good.”
“Don't say much! All of you must clean the Cakrabuana Playground at the command of the superiors! No eyewitnesses left!”
"of course. Just leave it to us."
