The Monster In Me

The Monster In Me
Taka, The Troublemaker

“Wah! This is a new one called a masterpiece!” exclaimed Taka while looking at the results of his hand actions with pride. He took a stone to stick a large glass shard into the zombie chest that he had hit first with a large stone so that he could not move. The young man did it all with a terrible grin. Anyone who saw him at this moment would tremble in fear.

Taka treats zombies like despicable animals that he can treat at will. He ‘dressed her’ using various items he found and released the zombie just like that. Like a King, not a single zombie dared to attack Taka. Either because Taka has got a lot of bite wounds, or because of the cruel attitude of the young man is able to make the zombies bend their knees in front of him.

For sure the young man was enjoying his current achievements very much.

“In which school can I play around like this,” chirps while carving the face of one of the zombies by using other zombie finger pieces. “Lumayan is fun too, Do I stay in this place forever? Well, I can consider. As long as there are no more annoying humans left.”

His memory again shows the figure of Zean who had cornered him until he was forced to flee. To this day, Taka still holds a grudge. He intends to destroy Zean and his sister, not knowing that Helsa has died because of his actions as well.

“Ah, again you go that way! What's so interesting about that song?” taka once he decided to release the zombies who now have many sharp objects stuck in various parts of their bodies. “Do I follow? Someone must have played this song on purpose, right? Wait for. If they really intend to lure the zombies to go in that direction, it means ...”

Taka got up and patted both of his palms with vigor. “Now they must be gathering in front of the exit gate like insects shrouding in lights. I have to go there and give you a greeting.”

With that, Taka moved away from where he had spent the past few hours. Leaving behind some zombies that were still trapped under the rocks. Wiggling with outstretched hands. Trying to achieve anything that can make them escape.

Taka enjoyed his journey by giving ‘mark’ to every zombie he found. Whether it is a scratch that he made using a pointy-tipped iron pole, or a blow to the head. Intentionally he did not make the zombies destroyed or really die, because Taka himself felt that the number of zombies began to decrease drastically. Do not let him lose the thing that makes him happy just because he accidentally makes the zombies extinct.

“Basic! Though supposedly, their numbers increase because they continue to bite all the humans who still survive. Oho! I forgot that the zombies here are a little different.” After being satisfied with grumbling, Taka then hummed cheerfully.

His eyes sparkled as he looked at Danita who was looking frantic in front of three teenagers. Taka recognized everything, so he prepared the best smile to say hello.

Of course while holding tightly the iron stick in hand.

“How can Abian be bitten?” danny asked with a trembling voice.

Evan breathed a tired sigh. “How many times do I have to say? I really didn't expect that there were zombies hiding under the table. After realizing it, I immediately warned Abian to retreat, but she insisted on wanting to get this key for all of us,” Evan explained while showing a bunch of keys in his hand.

“Ya, already. How about we now try to open the lock on the gate with that key? After that we only saw the condition of Abian in the Post Satpam,” proposed Firda who had been trying to look calm. Though deep in his heart he was afraid of extraordinary because he felt something was not right.

Firda's worries were answered with Taka coming from behind them. The young man came while scraping the asphalt with his iron rod, making others grimace in agony.

“Ta-Taka?” Trisha stared at the horror of the young man she hated so much. “Ka-you're alive?”

“Taka, first remove that stick!” Danita cautiously approaches Taka. The young teacher was actually very afraid to see Taka's unusual expression, but he tried to vent. Although it looks terrible, and Danita does not know what Taka can do, the young man is still his student's son. “Evan managed to find the key to open the gate. We can all get out of this place together.”

Taka pursed his lips and tilted his head. “First, I can't throw this stick, Mom. What if a zombie attacks? Or maybe one of your beloved children intends to harm me.”

“What? What do we do that for?”

“Both.” Taka continued to speak without paying any heed to Trisha's question. “What did Mom say? Out out? Who said I wanted to get out of here?”

Taka's last question becomes a trigger for everyone to get up and be alert. Especially Firda who had now prepared to fight if only Taka suddenly went berserk. Only Danita kept her hands on both sides of the body. He was still trying to get Taka to talk.

Evan himself began to step back bit by bit. The way out is in sight. He really doesn't need to be involved in any other issues.

“Do not move!” forbidden Taka warned. Still pouting he glared at Evan. “Didn't I say, I'm a coward. What if you suddenly run and hit me? Huh huh? Don't move a bit or I'll smash this thing in my hand into your head!”

Hearing that, Evan turned around and ran as fast as he could. It only took a few steps for him to get to the front of the gate. The young man shouted as he realized Taka was really chasing after him. “Bu Danita! Do something!”

Without even being asked, Danita had already chased after Taka with all her might, although she doubted she would be able to do so. Firda then helped by throwing the rubble wood at Taka's feet until the young man stumbled. Danita immediately restrains Taka's movements by overrunning his body while muttering an apology.

Taka laughed out loud. “Hah! You naughty insects! You can't be reckless trying to be a predator like this!” he shouted, before he groaned with all his might and flipped his body. Danita's body weight is apparently nothing to a crazy young man like him. Danita screamed and ended up falling down on the asphalt.

“Hurry to open, Evan! Hurry up!” shouted Trisha who was now running after Evan. The girl was really willing to leave Danita while Firda stood there.

‘Am I really going to leave someone again?’ Benak Firda is raging. He almost scratched his own face in confusion.

Trisha's shriek cuts off Firda's daydream. He turned his head to the source of the voice and turned.
