The Monster In Me

The Monster In Me
Stop, Adira!

Firda was astonished to find Evan had restrained Trisha's body to make her a shield to dispel ... Abian?

Abian looks confused while stretching his hands decorated with torn wounds. The young man tilted his head and walked slowly closer to Evan and Trisha. A broken rope seemed to dangle from his other hand.

“E-Evan,” call Abian with hoarse voice. Making Trisha more scream and thrash, wanting to immediately break away from the clutches of Evan's hand.

“Away from me, you horrible zombie!” tell Evan before he throws Trisha and runs away from the gate.

There was absolutely no chance for him to try the key in his hand. Plan's fucked. Danita was lying weakly as Taka continued to vent her anger at the teacher, Trisha gasped to get away from Taka who was slowly walking while groaning in pain, while Firda froze in shock. Evan clucked in annoyance and looked back to the front to notice where he was running.

Be late. His body collided with someone until he fell hard.

As Evan looked up, his entire breath suddenly left his body.

Adira stood there, with her body covered in blood.

“Wah, waaahh! What's the matter?” Taka, who was apparently distracted by the sound of Evan and Adira colliding, smiles happily at Adira's arrival. “Sang exemplary schoolgirl apparently. Where do you shower strawberry jam?”

Adira who was originally ready to hit Evan then stopped and started running towards Taka. Without saying anything, Adira clutched Taka's neck and slammed him just like that. In an instant, the young man stopped moving. All the remaining people watched all of that while holding their breath.

Especially Firda. The girl's body was unable to stop shaking. He fell down with both hands clenched in front of his body. “A-Adira's. Thank goodness, you're alive!”

The girl who had not stopped kicking Taka then glanced towards Firda. His two slightly narrowed eyes seemed to imply emotions that were not easy to decipher. Firda thought her friend might still be devastated by her brother's death, but the reality was not that simple. Adira seemed to not recognize Firda at all and only approached her when Taka's face was no longer in normal shape and the young man ended up lying weakly with Danita.

Firda hurriedly got up and ran towards Trisha. “Please me! He's vengeful of me! He's gonna kill me!”

Firda did not know for sure, what made him think that way. Perhaps because he had seen with his own head how Adira had thumped Taka without hesitation. Or from the trail of red liquid that filled the body of his best friend it gives a clue how much fight he has gone through. Firda really never expected to meet Adira again in this situation. Before, he was absolutely certain Adira had become a zombie, or at least.

Meanwhile, Trisha who seemed to have run out of energy was only resigned when Firda came and hugged her body tightly. They both looked like a pair of very familiar companions, if only their faces did not look so frightened. Slowly, Trisha clasped Firda's hands together. Deep in their hearts they prayed the same prayer.

To get out of this situation alive.

Until finally, Abian pulled Adira's hand. However, the girl easily broke away and beat Abian mercilessly.

Or has Adira really turned into a zombie? His appearance did not resemble that of many other zombies at all.

“A-I will never bother you again. I promise!” trisha shouted after Adira managed to paralyze Abian and returned to walk to where he and Firda were.

“Adira! Be aware! You are not a bad person at all!” Firda chimed in.

Meanwhile, the girl they were yelling at showed no reaction at all. Adira was silent while closing her eyes. His two hands stretched out to the side, as if he was gathering all the energy within his body before he turned back. His breathing roar hunted while the skin of his face that had not been covered in dust and blood seemed to be flushed red with anger. It didn't take long for the girl to growl. In a split second he was already in front of Firda, swinging his fist filled with gurat nadi.

Boldly, Firda threw her own body forward and tried to stop the movement of Adira's hand. It makes Adira thrashing great while kicking her legs into the body of the poor girl. Firda screamed in pain, especially when Adira banged her own head against the friend's forehead.

Or maybe now they should be referred to as a pair of ex-friends.

Firda held onto her extremely sick forehead. His trembling fingers were now sticky by the blood. The girl grimaced and started crying. He resigned if indeed his life is destined to end in the hands of Adira.

Adira was just about to swing her body one more time to head back when suddenly a burly hand wrapped around her shoulders and neck. Effectively lock its movement completely. The horrible girl tried to throw a kick back, but she just ended up kicking empty air.

“Calm, Adira. Your sister will not be happy to see you behave like this,” Zean said in a soft and soothing voice. He used to talk to Helsa, whenever his sister whined because of illness. Now he did the same to Adira, the younger brother of a young man he had not known for a long time. “Adnan will definitely want you to live a normal and happy life like before.”.

Adira roared and thrashed with all her might. Zean had difficulty holding the body of the girl who was actually much smaller than him. The young man frowned in confusion. ‘It seems that great sadness and anger gave him tremendous energy, ' he murmured inwardly.

However, Zean was a young man who used to exercise and train his muscles regularly. His strength may have been greatly reduced from having to survive in a hellish place, but Zean still had more than enough ability to conquer Adira. Armed with all the old martial arts he did not use, Zean restrained Adira's movements by making the girl face down on the asphalt. Zean held both his hands and feet.

Slowly, Adira's roar turned into a slow groan, then turned back into a voice that resembled a whimper. Zean hits the back of Adira's head only to make her lose consciousness for a while. In an instant, Adira's gaze turned completely dark.

Before she was completely immersed in the sleeping flowers, Adira heard her brother's voice calling out to her cheerfully.

Only, Adnan's voice did not sound like the voice of a young man in his teens.
