Karsa frowned when he realized that the lighting of the Cakrabuana Playground was still working well. He did not know when the lights around began to light up, because during the day, almost all the light he saw came from the colorful lights that adorn each vehicle. Not a lamp bright enough to fight the darkness of the night.
“Okay, my feet are tingling! Until when should we curl up like this?” Trisha who was right beside Karsa continued to whine. Sometimes he complained because he accidentally hit his head on a hard surface that now hid the figure of the two of them.
“What do you expect from a cup ride like this?” sindir Karsa who was very upset faced the spoiled attitude of the girl. Trisha always complained as if he was the most unfortunate and tormented person. Though Karsa himself had to hold the iron handle upwards in order to provide enough space for the two of them to hide.
Somehow the story until all this chaos is able to make the cups that become one of the favorite rides of children and families, become destroyed. Karsa and Trisha arrive after everything happens. The young man who was quick to respond finally directed the two of them to hide inside one of the overturned cups. The surface of the cup was held back by a sizable footing stone, leaving a slight gap enough for the two teenagers to pass through.
As much as possible they curled up by keeping a distance from the gap, so that their figure was not visible from the outside.
“Until when will we continue here?” Tiredlessly Trisha continued to speak. Karsa was just thankful the girl was smart enough to keep her voice from sounding out. “Is there nothing you can do? Come on, fight for me!”
Karsa rolled his eyeballs with a puff. “Why should I do it? Even if I go out and fight those zombies, I do it for myself! Not for you!”
“Karsa! In situations like this you should stop being cruel!”
“Ssttt! Shut up!” let's suddenly. Make Trisha lock her mouth for a moment. The girl's body began to tremble thinking their hiding had been uncovered.
However, Karsa's expression seemed too calm. Finally Trisha ventured to peek out. “What's up, anyway?”
“See there.” Karsa pointed to one of the dark corners. “Can you see what's on the move?”
Trisha shook her head with pursed lips. “Nothing. Stop scaring me!”
“See more closely! There's something shiny in there. And ... and, it looks like someone is fighting!”
Both of Karsa's eyes looked radiant. The young man became more excited after the object he was observing moved closer. As if a glimmer of hope was shining on him at this moment, Karsa's face was now radiant.
Of course, it makes Trisha more curious. He squinted, trying to see what Karsa had seen. In his heart he hoped that someone in a neat and fully armed uniform would go around to save them. However, it turned out that his hope still remained a mere hope.
Apparently, the figure who was causing noise by beating every zombie around was a young man who was very familiar to him. Evan. Evan seemed to be holding onto something that seemed to be an iron rod. The smart young man made the stick a deadly weapon, which made him avoid vicious zombie attacks as long as he walked.
“Come, get ready!” the Karsa command suddenly.
“Pregnated for what?” Trisha screamed in panic as Karsa crawled outside. Without thinking he followed the young man.
It turned out that the zombies around them were walking towards Evan, so that the two of them could move to move to the other cup.
Apparently he did not need to be confused for too long, because when Evan managed to defeat the zombies that blocked his path, Karsa pulled Trisha's hand to approach Evan.
“Aaah! Whoareyou? Why is it here?” Not Evan who screamed hysterically, but Abian who turned out to be behind Evan all this time. “Have you been bitten? Or got a claw? Take off your shirt so we can make sure of it!”
Abian kept asking questions and orders. While Evan just stared at Karsa dislike, while playing a stick covered in blood in his hand.
“There is no time to explain,” replied Karsa in a hurry. “Quick! The other zombies must be moving in here. We have to get out of here.”
“No need you tell me I can see it,” said Evan tightly. He aimed his chin to point at the zombies that began to arrive from various directions. The movement of some of the undead seemed to be slowed down by the scattered debris, but others were able to move so fast that they might be able to reach Karsa and friends in an instant.
Evan was actually intending to return to making cruel comments, but the situation made it impossible to hold back. “Stands standby beside me,” his word while grabbing another stick from inside the backpack and handing it to Karsa. “Trisha can walk in the middle, and we will move in a circle formation. Whatever happens, don't go forward on your own! Or I'll leave you!”
Trisha happily stands behind Evan, while Evan, Abian, and Karsa surround him. She really felt like a princess that was being protected by knights right now. Feeling that his life is the most precious thing to defend, even though others have to sacrifice for his safety.
Honey, the loud voice of Evan scolding her made her daydream just fade away. “Concentration Trisha! We will move quickly!”
Trisha gulped nervously. Indeed, both of his legs continued to tremble from earlier, both because of fear and fatigue because they had to run and hide. However, there is no other choice. He was sure that the young men would no longer try to save him if he was harmed by his own carelessness. Therefore, Trisha strengthens herself and is determined to do her best for her and her friends.
After all, he was lucky enough to not be asked to fight. Trisha just kept walking while watching how Karsa, Evan, and Abian drove the zombies that approached them one by one. They all do it while running at high speed.
It's just, they can't always predict the movement of the zombies. Despite trying to dodge and dispel, there are now some zombies that are able to keep up with their speed. Trisha screamed as she looked at the undead woman who had lost half of her face.
“After here! In back!” trisha called for help.
Hearing that, Karsa who had just hit down one zombie then clucked and slightly slowed down his run. He switched positions and stopped running for a moment to beat the zombies that almost caught up with them. Even though he himself was afraid of being abandoned.
Whether lucky or not, the zombies turned out to be quite weak, so it only took a few punches until they ended up falling and crawling on the ground. Their movements that became much slower gave Karsa a chance to run and catch up with his friends.
It was inconceivable how relieved Trisha's heart was as she watched Karsa back on standby by her side. To him, the charm of the young man increased many times over at this time.
“Karsa! After we get away with all this, come on, we're dating!”
“Trisha! This is not the time!”
