Abrine ran along the corridor of the Hospital to her husband's care ward. He did not care about Yemima and Raya who kept warning him to walk slowly.
"Abrine!" Yemima tries to catch Abrine's step. "Brine you're pregnant, don't run around like this, Brine!" he said while blocking the arm of his friend.
Abrine was silent with a pajamas face. "Mima. I want to see my husband soon" he said in a trembling voice.
Yemima sighed harshly as if he was holding back an upset.
"Have it, don't worry about it! You also have to remember the condition of your womb. Now we can go to the room slowly," said Yemima to calm Abrine.
Some time earlier, Abrine got word from Xander that El was back in critical condition. This made Abrine upset and decided to follow up to the hospital outside the city where her husband was being treated.
Abrine felt like he was doing better than a week ago, so it didn't matter if he was traveling.
And also, no one can stand in his way anymore when he wants to catch up with El's existence today. Accompanied by Aarav and his mother Abrine finally arrived there in the afternoon.
"Come in, Brine" said Yemima, who was taken by Abrine. They arrived in front of the ward where El was being treated.
Raya, Aarav and Yemima decide to wait for Abrine in the chair outside the treatment room.
Abrine slowly approached the sickly bed where her husband lay there.
Ah ... see the face of this man who was closed it was like making Abrine's heart beat twice as fast.
"Hi, El .. It's me, sorry I was a little late coming to see you. I-I missed you so much. Do you-you miss me too?" Abrine. Voice faltered. Seeing all the tools that were re-attached in the body of the husband made him powerless to resist crying.
This is the same as El's situation at their last meeting a week ago, the difference is that El was in the ICU room while now El is only treated in a regular treatment room.
"El, I'm sorry I wasn't with you when you came to your senses yesterday. I'm sorry, El. Huhuhu."
Abrine dropped his head on the chest of Elrich's lying field. He could feel the man's heartbeat that was rhythmically tight with his heartbeat.
"You feel my presence, hmm?" Abrine looked up from his position. He stroked El's jaw, which was beginning to overgrow the coarse hair.
Abrine was crying there. Nodding, he inserts a face in his own embrace on the body of the husband.
"Aren't you going to wake up, El? I'm already here...."
Abrine kept her husband talking even though he knew right now El was just closed, silent.
"How is this, El? I should what? I don't want to be alone without you. Don't you want to see our children born later?"
The next second Abrine raised his face. He still saw the sealed El not responding to all his words.
Is El going to stay alive with all the medical devices still attached? Then, if all his life support tools were released, would El....
"No, no. El don't leave me. I can't without you El." This time Abrine's voice was more resolute as if he was really afraid of losing his husband.
Shadows and bad thoughts suddenly flashed past Abrine's head. He also came back crying.
"Don't do this, please wake up."
Abrine ducked back and hugged El. His tears even soaked the patient clothes El wore.
"I love you so much, El. Huhuhuhoo...."
"really?"
Deg ....
Just then, Abrine jumped. His eyes were round looking at the man who was now mouthing a smile before him.
"E-is? You you?" Abrine's face still looked shocked.
"Do you have to wait for me to be critical, and then you want to say love to me?"
"El?" Abrine reflexively rewinds his body, but El immediately catches the woman's arm from moving away.
"I miss you so much. I miss you so much." El kissed the back of his wife's hand that was still choked and frozen.
"How long haven't we seen each other, honey? What two years?" canda El is still with a dikulum smile.
Abrine shook his head slowly. Realize something has happened.
"You're pranking me?" abrine asked quietly, but El did not answer. The man simply sniffed his shoulders indifferently.
Abrine brushed off El's hand. It felt like being played by that man. Does El not know that he has no-no thoughts that cause him to be very afraid?
"Darling...."
"You're outrageous. I hate you! Huhuhoo!" Abrine came back crying, he even hit El's arm mercilessly.
"Dear, sick...." El grimacing.
"When I'm a patient, if you keep doing this, I'd better call a doctor to help me!"
"Si alan! Let's just try it! Do I need to call the doctor now?" threatening Abrine was fierce, but El laughed.
"So when are you gonna beat up your husband, hmm?" El catches Abrine's hand which keeps hitting his arm.
"You deserve that! You're playing with my feelings, huh!"
"I just want to hear your love statement. Is that wrong? I've never heard of it, baby." This time El said solemnly while staring into the tanned netra of his wife.
"Originally you know, I've said it back-to-back!"
"When? I don't know" replied El bluntly.
"When you were unconscious in the ICU, I-I-"
"I didn't hear it then, did I?"
"Ah done...." Abrine holds his temple pulsating because of Elrich. But, this is better than the bad things that just crossed his head into reality.
Abrine helps El to sit leaning. They still stared at each other longing. El hugged Abrine without a word. He leaned his head on his wife's stomach while occasionally tucking her.
"Is this your plan?" abrine asked after some quiet time was created between them.
"Hmmm..." El responded with deheman.
"You asked Xander to tell me you were critical?"
"Hmmm...."
"I don't want this to happen again, El."
"I'm sorry. After I realized, I was just too excited and felt so missed you."
Abrine sighed whole-chestedly.
"Yemima also knows this, why he didn't tell me. Fuck up!" cetus Abrine pursed his lips.
"Don't blame him, he's just trying to follow my wishes. At first he strongly opposed this plan, he disagreed. That's why I knew you were coming here, I asked him to pick you up in front of the hospital."
"Had he looked so upset when he saw me so worried about you."
El smiled faintly in a position that still hugged the wife's stomach.
"You're gonna stay here and take care of me?" ask El then.
"Hmm, I really want to take care of you."
"Are you well? I heard you had bedrest yesterday. Doesn't it matter if you stay here? Go home or you can stay at a hotel in town."
"You don't want me to take care of it?" Abrine put on a sewot face.
El looked up at the face of his wife who still displayed a sad look.
"Not so, I don't want you to get tired. Hospitals aren't good for your health anyway. There's a lot of sick people here, I don't want you to get sick."
Abrine clucking. "Say you're more comfortable being cared for by the female nurses in this hospital, right?"
El chuckled at the words of his wife.
"Yes, the nurse is indeed pretty-cant---"
"What?" Abrine pulled Elrich's ear. "Try repeating again?" she said with a red face.
"Arkh! Please take your hand away." El tries to take Abrine's hand off in his ear, but Abrine pulls him even tighter.
"How dare you praise another woman in front of your own wife, huh?"
"But I'm not done talking, arkhh ... loose!"
Finally Abrine took off his hand in Elrich's ear, making the man complain while stroking his red ears due to the actions of his wife.
"So I was going to say that the nurse here is beautiful..."
"What's? You dare repeat it?"
"Yes, but still more beautiful my wife again," said Elrich hastily reconnecting his sentence which continued to be dragged by Abrine.
"You lied, right? Are you interested in one of them? Da? Honestly, El!" Abrine melengos left Elrich there. He continued to move even though El kept calling his name repeatedly.
