39. Returnees

The arrival gate of the airport felt very crowded, today El and Abrine have returned to Germany with the El family who also returned to the country.

"You're going to Dad's villa first, El?" ask Elena.

"No, Brother. Abrine and I are going straight to my apartment, I'm pretty tired, I'm back to work tomorrow anyway."

Edgar, Elena, and Hardin return to the Villa, where Elrich and Abrine will travel to the El Apartment, which is closer to the Hospital where El is based.

"I'm going back to my apartment first, El."

"This is what I just bought for both of us. Originally I only lived in an ordinary Apartment that was still one building with this place, I bought this penthouse shortly after you agreed to our marriage."

"really?" Abrine looked at El in disbelief. "Why so much," he murmured.

"Is this overreacting? I just want you to stay comfortably with me."

"Wohooo, it turns out that my husband is not too bad, I can be fat to enjoy the facilities in this place." Abrine clucked his tongue repeatedly, signifying his admiration for El but the man chuckled at the wife's praise.

"Come on! I'll show you something." El pulls Abrine's arm slowly, which the woman follows by running around behind El's tall body.

"This is your room, special to you." El smiles a little at Abrine but Abrine feels misfocused with El's words just now.

"My room?" tanyakanya.

Elrich nodded. "Yups, your room."

"Then you? You didn't sleep with me? We sleep apart?" Abrine.

"I'm sorry, I haven't been able to for that." El looked at Abrine seriously, as if there was no doubt about his decision.

"But the time in Indonesia we--"

"That's different, Brine. At that time we were close to the family and inevitably we should not make them suspicious."

"El?"

Elrich wanted to turn away, but Abrine blocked his hand.

"You said yourself if you want me to carry your child but why-"

Abrine took a bath in his room, he opened the suitcase and dressed formally. He decided to just work today even though time had already shown almost towards lunch hour. He didn't care, he was upset and wanted to leave immediately.

Just as Abrine was about to press the doorknob to get out, apparently El went down the stairs and called out his name.

"Where are you going, Brine?"

"I've been to the office, I haven't been monitoring things there for a long time."

"But you just arrived in Germany. Aren't you tired?"

Abrine wanted to answer that he was more tired of being at home with El but only needed when desired. But that sentence he couldn't say. He simply answered El with eyes full of disappointment. El who saw it could no longer prevent Abrine's departure.

Abrine is gone. El breathed a rough breath.

"I'm sorry, this is the thing I was most afraid of from the beginning. You'll get hurt if it comes to a guy like me. But, I don't want you to leave either." Elrich gulped down the mineral water by his side with a huffed feeling and went awry.

As for Abrine himself, he took a taxi and headed for the office. In his office, he got a lot of marriage congratulations from his workers. Abrine also got a lot of greeting cards that were sent from his business relationship to his office.

All of those things should make Abrine happy, but considering the things that had happened in the El Apartment earlier, Abrine immediately lost his good mood.

Abrine can't work. Apart from being tired, he was also unfocused. Abrine calls Yemima and takes her to lunch.

In a retro-style cafe, she and Yemima meet and tell her everything without covering up any one. As for how much it has to do with El.

"Do you know why he's acting like that?"

"Brine, don't cry, I'll ask Xander later. What makes El like this."

Abrine immediately wiped off his tears. He didn't want to look weak, however this was his decision and one more thing, about El touching him, he didn't blame El completely because he was also wrong to have enjoyed it too.

"If I could argue, El is already in love with you. He won't admit. He deliberately made some distance to cover up his feelings, Brine." Yemima gave his assessment.

"So, I don't want to get my hopes up. I don't think about it with him."

"So, what's your decision? You can't leave him, right? You guys just got married."
