THE DOCTOR'S LOVE TRAP

THE DOCTOR'S LOVE TRAP
29. Re-encounter

Abrine sent a message to Wildan. He said he wanted to visit the man's restaurant. Of course it makes Wildan happy, because finally he had a reason to meet Abrine again.

After Abrine returned to Indonesia, indeed Wildan often took Abrine the way together, only Abrine always reasoned to be busy with his work, and his, either it was deliberately avoiding Wildan or it was really busy as the reason was.

Abrine himself, he knew from the beginning that Wildan had high hopes for him, so he didn't want to give the man any more hope. It was enough that he was entangled with Raymond and that he had not recovered.

In addition, Abrine also realizes that he is now trapped by his agreement with Elrich, so he does not want to put other men into his life, including Wildan. He's been dizzy enough, so now Abrine can only consider Wildan a friend-no more.

"Where's restaurant? Do we just install Maps?" chirp El when he entered Abrine's car. He drives this time and Abrine sits casually in the cabin next to him.

"May, just set the maps," Abrine replied in agreement.

Abrine doesn't tell Wildan that he's coming with El, nor does he say that they're going to Wildan's restaurant.

Arriving at the classic-style restaurant, they were immediately given a seat like a regular guest by a waiter who did not recognize the two, because Wildan advised the waiter to welcome a girl, who was not familiar, but because Abrine came with El, the waiter didn't know that Abrine was the guest Wildan was waiting for.

Abrine looked around, looking around for Wildan's figure while El was sibu selecting the menu on the tab given by the waiter.

"What do you want to eat?" ask El.

"Ehm, anything." Abrine answered as his head wobbled here and there.

"Who are you looking for?"

"My friend."

"Your friend works here?"

"He owns this place."

Elrich nodded, not caring much about the friend Abrine meant. He again seriously ordered the menu while choosing food for Abrine.

Abrine sees Wildan's figure from a distance, he could have called Wildan or sent him a message that he had arrived at the restaurant, but he did not do it on purpose.

Abrine waved at Wildan who was also already staring at him. The man returned Abrine's hand and began to walk closer.

The crisp smile on Wildan's face slowly faded away as he realized with whom Abrine was visiting his place today.

"Berin!" El looked at Abrine and Wildan alternately. He didn't think the friend Abrine was referring to was Wildan. His gaze was as if he was asking for an explanation from the girl, but Abrine just pegged a small smile that even El could not interpret. He did not expect that there would be a reunion between himself and Wildan.

"You really came with Brother El" Wildan murmured as if to speak to himself, but it was quite audible to Abrine and Elrich there.

Elrich got up from his seat. "I don't taste it, it's good to go home."

Abrine gasped in shock, he had not expected Elrich to be like this. The man did not even want to stare at Wildan for more than two seconds.

"El," Abrine said, preventing Elrich from moving on. His hand held the man's wrist and shook his head slowly at him.

"Why didn't you tell me first?" ask El coldly.

"I didn't expect you to get this way" Abrine said.

"Now, do you want to come with me or do you want to stay?" El spoke without looking at Abrine.

Abrine felt a chill start to surround him because of El's cold attitude now. He rubbed his own nape as if goosebumps with this situation. Come to think of why he was always afraid if El was angry, even though Abrine had always been against people who did not go along with his thoughts. But not with El, the man's aura makes Abrine always shrivelled if he was already in this situation.

"El, I-I just want you and Wildan to have a good relationship like before, I'm sure you've been in a good situation before. Can't it happen again in the present moment?" Abrine spoke in a hesitant voice and lowered his face.

"Can't!" resolute El direct.

"Alright, Brine! Between me and Brother El there was never any enmity, but maybe we can't be like we used to." Wildan raised his voice, making Elrich smile on his side.

"El, for my sake. Can you, Wildan and Aunt Erika make peace?" Somehow the sentence was triggered from Abrine's lips, whereas where El might sacrifice self-esteem for his sake. Who is he for El? Very confident of him.

"Brine doesn't have to force Brother Elrich, he has come to the final decision."

"I'm sorry, here I'm too selfish, I should have given up a lot, indeed" said El looked earnest. Abrine didn't expect Elrich to be like this. El wants to change because of that sentence. Change your attitude for her sake? Did ya? Even willing to lower self-esteem by apologizing to Wildan.

"El..." said Abrine.

Wildan was flabbergasted in disbelief because of El's words just now. Did El really love Abrine so much that he wanted to say that to her at the girl's request? Though all this time he and Erika had tried repeatedly to melt the relationship with Elrich who had long been frozen.

"We'll eat here, can you recommend the best menu?" Elrich sat back in his chair. Abrine followed with an attitude that was still between believing and not.

"By, I'll tell you the favorite menu in this restaurant." Wildan swiftly beckoned to the servant who had since seen what had happened between the three of them. At once the servant rushed over.

In the end, Abrine and El ate with Wildan's recommended menu and it turned out that the food was really good. Elrich finished his meal without a word as he and Abrine ate.

As long as they ate, Wildan did leave the two behind so that they would eat comfortably.

"Easy? Don't ever forget I did all this for you!" resolute Elrich while glaring sharply at Abrine.

Again Abrine could only gulp hard, El's attitude like this was hard he guessed what he meant. Why would El do this for her. And before Abrine asked in earnest and on his behalf, Elrich looked cold and as if his decision could not be swayed.

Abrine had already opened his mouth to answer but in the end he was at a loss for himself to tell Elrich.

"So, if someday you have to do something for me. I hope you can do it too. Because today, this thing, it's not easy for me."

Abrine knew what El meant about 'this thing' was his apology and his sense of defeat for Wildan.

"Well, one day I promise I'll do something for you too."

Elrich nodded faintly.

"But, may I ask one more request for my sake?" Abrine grinned at the horse as Elrich looked at him with an annoyed look.

"What else?" ask the man.

"See Aunt Erika too..."

"What's? Can't!" reject El sounds very firm.

"Please! I'll grant you your wish later." Abrine clenched his fingers together, pleading with El.

"really?"

Abrine nodded quickly.

"But, can I ask you something earlier?"

"Regard what?"

"Is the good relationship between me, Erland and her mother, really important to you? Does that have a big effect on you?"

Abrine was silent for a moment. Until he finally answered.

"It has no effect on me. I just want the relationship between mother and son to be good. I also want the relationship between brothers to be close again."

Elrich laughed at Abrine's words. But then he recalled Abrine's earlier remark.

"Well, if I make peace with the mother and the child, you promise to grant my wish, don't you?" his tanyanya accompanied by a gentle smile.

"Yes, I promise you don't make weird requests."

"Deal."
