"How, Dad?" Elrich approached the father who had just come out of the ward where Erika was being treated.
Edgar shook his head faintly in response to his son's question.
"Hmm, maybe forgetting the past feels so difficult for him," El said referring to Erika.
"Yes, the most important thing is that I have given him understanding. Whether she understands it or not, it is her own business. We home?"
"But, we haven't met Erland, father."
When they arrived, Wildan was having other needs, he went back to the apartment to take all Erika needs while in care.
"Will Erland welcome father with the same attitude as her Mama?" Edgar was a bit pessimistic.
"I don't think Erland is much more mature now. He's not a kid anymore, Dad. I'm sure he can sort out the wrong and the right."
"Are we waiting for him here?"
"It's best that way, I'd love to see him, right?" Elrich could guess that.
Edgar nodded. They decided to wait in the hospital. In front of Erika's treatment room.
While waiting, El gets a call from his wife. Abrine does not know if El has arrived in the city, he thinks El will arrive in the afternoon because El wants to make a surprise for his return. After all, he wanted to accompany Edgar to meet Erika and Wildan first. After this, he will go home to see his wife.
"Darling, what will you eat this afternoon?" ask Abrine from across the call.
"You want to cook?"
"Hmm... You want to, right?"
"Yes, but I don't want you to get tired."
"It's okay, it's fun and it doesn't make me tired."
"Well, whatever you cook, I'll eat it. I miss you so much."
"Miss you too. quickly return," Abrine said in a carefree voice.
Edgar who heard a glimpse of Elrich's conversation through a cellular connection smiled. He could draw the conclusion if his son and Abrine really loved each other now. He was relieved, but Abrine had refused when he waved Abrine to marry the son.
A few minutes later, El disconnected his call. Along with that, Wildan arrived before the two.
"Sister..."
El and Edgar both turned to the man in the black shirt.
Wildan looked at Edgar. The gazes of the two highlighted each other with a deep radiance of sadness.
"Dad wants to see you, Er." said Elrich.
But, that's when Wildan couldn't help but hug his father. Edgar's body was not as brave as before. The body was already inedible with age although the look of good looks was still clearly visible on the same face.
"Dad...." Wildan could not hold back his tears.
As long as Wildan lived, he only knew one father figure. It was Edgar. His father died before he could recognize him as a child.
Erika never married again. The woman loved Wilmar too much, Wildan's real father. In the past, she married Edgar just to be able to live a decent life. She had already become Wilmar's girlfriend. But, Wilmar only makes it a distraction because it already has its own family.
Eventually, Wilmar died in an accident. A few days after her death, Erika decided to return to Indonesia and bring Wildan along because at that time she had also been divorced by Edgar.
Wildan did have a paternal brother from the family of the late Wilmar. But, he did not want to disturb their existence because he realized that he was the child of an affair.
However, when Wildan graduated High School, he never expected, he got some of the property from the relics of his late biological father.
Although Wilmar was a driver in the Edgar family, but when he lived, the man had quite a lot of savings.
That was the beginning of Wildan can get capital to develop his culinary business to date.
"Dad misses you, son." Edgar patted Wildan's shoulder warmly and intimately. His words did not lie, he did miss the son he had raised.
"I miss dad too. I'm sorry I let you down so much."
"No, Son. You never let dad down. All because of our circumstances."
Elrich who saw it was made moved by the meeting of his father and sister. He hugged Edgar's body along with what Wildan was doing.
After a long time with that. Elrich gave his father space to talk to Wildan.
"You're an adult, son."
Wildan smiled faintly with his face still in sight.
"Father is also getting older," Wildan replied jokingly.
Finally they chuckle at the same time releasing the sad atmosphere that had been created.
"Have you met your mom?"
Edgar nodded.
"Did Mama not respond well to me?" terka Wildan's.
"Here you go, maybe your mama still needs some time."
"How long you've given him time, Mama won't change." Wildan said he sounded very sure.
"Don't do that, pray for your mom to change. May my mother not be like that forever."
"Either dad, I've been pessimistic if you want to be better."

In the afternoon, Elrich actually went home to the apartment. But he's not alone, he's back with Edgar and Wildan - who still want to let go of the longing.
"No....."
"Els? Why didn't you tell me you were coming here too?" abrine asked surprised to see her father-in-law also visiting. There was even Wildan.
Abrine shook Edgar's hand with reverence. He asked them all to come in and they prepared for dinner together.
"Luckily I cooked quite a lot earlier," Abrine said interspersed with a small laugh.
The four of them ate dinner with gourmand. There's something different. It all feels pretty complete right now.
"If Elena's sister were here, too" Wildan said. He remembers eating with them as a child.
"Yes, we'll have a dinner sometime. Along with Elena and Hardin as well," said Edgar, who was taken in by everyone.
"Grandma where, El? Why not join?" ask Abrine.
"Oh, once you arrive in town, grandma has a job to do right away. So, grandma can't come."
"Grandmother's love.." - Lirih Abrine.
If Elrich wants to take care of his grandmother's business, surely Theresia does not need to take care of the work at her age that is suitable for retirement. But, how else, he could not force the man, because business is not the passion of Elrich.
"Currently Grandma is busy taking care of business for the last few days-before she really retires" Edgar said. Theresia had already told him quite a lot while they were in the villa.
"Thank God.. If grandma is retired, who will run the business?" babble Abrine again.
"For the next few years grandma will entrust to her right hand, but all assets remain on behalf of grandmother. Before it will be fully diverted to the great-grandson, and if they are of legal age then they will manage it." This time El said, 'they' he meant the baby in Abrine's womb. He also stroked his wife's stomach as a gesture of his speech.
Wildan who also heard that felt his brother was very lucky. Instead of envy, he was happy about it. After all, the life and future of Abrine's children must have been assured.
Elrich and Edgar visited the hospital ward, where Erika was stiffened when several people dressed in black entered her hospital room.
"You may not know me. But, I know you enough."
"Who, you?" asked Erika with a scared look.
"I'm Theresia Langford. Elrich's grandmother."
"E-his grandmother El?" Erika tergugu's.
"Yes. I'm Emily's birth mother."
Erika's esophagus feels stuck knowing this reality. The problem is the appearance of the woman who visited her ward, already showing the class of the woman - without needing to be explained further.
"My visit here is in addition to visiting my granddaughter's former stepmother, I also want to give you a warning not to interfere with my granddaughter's and her family's lives again. You understand what I mean, don't you?" Theresia spoke very gracefully and elegantly, as if she had deliberately shown herself in front of Erika.
Erika was silent with a pias face. What would happen to her if she violated the warning Theresa had made in front of her? Even the female class Theresia willingly bothered to meet him just to tell him this? This means El is very important to the woman, isn't it?
"Maybe I'm too old. I can't walk without my cane. But you know what I can do if you dare to fuck around."
Erika was grieving at a glance and Theresia gave a small smile hearing it.
"Listen to me, Miss Erika. I know enough about your football. All your aces are in my hands too. If you ignore my warning this time, then I'll easily reverse your life's course."
"Are you threatening me, madam?" erika asked in a soft voice almost whispered.
"That's how I threatened you!" theresia said she would not mince words. "So, think about everything you've done before you go any further."
Erika knew, a person like Theresia could not possibly mess around in her every utterance. Erika could only remain silent until Theresia and her two aides came out of the treatment room.
