THE DOCTOR'S LOVE TRAP

THE DOCTOR'S LOVE TRAP
40. Don't blame me

By nightfall, Abrine returns to the El Apartment. Apparently, her return was awaited by her husband. El is seen sitting in the living room tapping the table with his fingertips.

"You waiting for me?" guess Abrine when he saw El.

"Why just got home? Do you come home every day at this hour?"

Abrine looked at the watch circling his hand. "It's not too late at night, the sky has just darkened" he said casually.

"I thought you'd come home in the afternoon like normal business hours."

"Don't wait for me, El." Abrine passed by and headed for his room. Seeing that, El walked quickly to pursue his wife's steps.

"Berin..."

"Otherwise? You want to tell me to tell you all my schedule?"

Elrich was silent, he looked at Abrine with an elusive look in his eyes. But, Abrine actually returned his gaze as if undaunted. Yes, Abrine challenged him through the glare of an eye.

"Look, El. I'm not obligated to tell you everything about me when I don't even know who my husband is! So don't force me!" firmly Abrine.

Abrine closed the door of his room loudly. He had not expected to quarrel with El today, on the fourth day of their marriage.

"Abrine. I knew I was wrong" cried El from behind the door.

Abrine did not comment on El's remarks, he came back here just because he wanted to take his suitcase.

"Brine, don't act like this to me" said El pleading outside the room.

In fact, she felt awry with her feelings for Abrine. His wife was right, all this time he was the one who built a wall of himself so as not to be touched. Abrine had started to touch his heart, but again his logic wanted to break it. El does not want his heart to plunge him into error. But, was Abrine a mistake? For El, love is a big mistake. Loving is a trap. He was once stuck on that.

A while later, Abrine opened the room door, he looked at El with a disappointed look.

"Stop!" said Abrine nudging El's burly arm that was blocking his way. Apparently he's been getting ready with a suitcase he hasn't even unloaded since he returned to Germany.

Realizing that, El wavered, he looked panicked. "Where are you going, Brine?" tanyanya fidgeting.

"You forbid me to stay in my own apartment! You asked me to stay with you, but you gave me a different room..." Abrine smiled cynically at El, making the man stupefied.

The woman breathed a moment too. "Listen El, I want us to stay in one room not because I'm a caress-hungry woman. But, is it that hard to appreciate me, El?" tanyakanya.

"I-I'm just not used to it yet, Brine!" lirih El gave an excuse.

"Am I really that wrapped around your neck? And when you want to wake up in the morning, you'll feel suffocated when I sleep next to you?"

"Brine...?"

"I can't obey you when you want to! I'm not something you can use as you please. I have pride and I have feelings!"

Abrine walked groping his suitcase, he wiped away his tears that escaped just like that. For whatever sake, he didn't want to seem to cry for El. She admitted in her if she had fallen on the charm of the man who was still her husband.

"Don't go, Brine!" El blocks Abrine's arm, but Abrine slams El's hand to prevent it.

"If you keep this up, I can't stay here for even a day" Abrine said.

El can no longer prevent Abrine's decision. He was silent with a pushy look. He knows he's wrong. He realized, in the end, that the fault lay in him, not in his wife.

The harmony of his household should have been able to get him, only he had not been able to start it because of self-doubt. It's all because of his own feelings. Not even a week into their marriage, she has been in love with Abrine. That's reality. He did not have the heart of his wife, but he was a man who had experienced trauma. The trauma still feels real today.

He never expected this to happen, so he never prepared himself either. When he was aware of his feelings, he was upset and back to fortify himself, in fact his actions that want to protect themselves, actually led to hurt his wife's heart. He felt guilty, he had sinned.

Not wanting to be late, El finally decided to pursue Abrine's steps. He couldn't wait for the elevator to open, until he ran down the stairs. With a heavy breath, he finally arrived at the other floor.

El only realized that he would not be strong down the emergency stairs that high considering his penthouse is on the top floor. Finally, he returned to the elevator that had opened on the next floor.

With impatience and regret. El finally arrived at the bottom floor. He saw the little back of his wife who seemed to be walking still with a snarl of the suitcase.

El pulls Abrine's shoulder, reversing the woman's position to face her. Wanting to talk, but no, he immediately hugged the woman's body with breath still panting.

"You can't go! I'm sorry, I'm just afraid to love you. But in fact, I fell in love with you first, right from the start. From the beginning of our meeting" he admitted frankly.

Abrine was speechless with his eyes bandaged, he had yet to return Elrich's embrace. He was too shocked by this sudden thing.

"You know, I once told you that men can have relationships without using taste, but not with me, Brine. I can't do it without feeling. So, so. I touched you because I already had that taste."

"... Yesterday until then, I was still doubtful, but now I'm sure. I'm sorry" whispered El right in Abrine's ear.

Actually, El also could not sleep without his wife, but for the sake of fortifying himself from a protracted love, he was forced to keep his distance. He's afraid of falling in love. The trauma with it makes it difficult to open the heart.

Some people who crossed the apartment lobby saw both, they became a spectacle of many people and some who recorded the action of both. There were some who chanted that Abrine should forgive her husband regardless of any wrong that He had done, for the man seemed very earnest.

"We go back upstairs, don't go, hmm?" Elrich cupped both sides of Abrine's face which made Abrine smile because he could also feel the sincerity and honesty of each husband's words.

When they arrived at the residence again, El raised Abrine's body in both hands. He took Abrine into their real room. He laid his woman on the bed very slowly and carefully.

Abrine had not let out a word since earlier, he seemed to be hypnotized into the man's charm. Yes, that man is her own husband.

"Can I kiss you?"

Abrine flickered uneasily, usually when El wanted to kiss him, the man never asked for permission like this, but now that El asked for his approval, it made Abrine so nervous. In fact, he was very angry and disappointed in El, but behind his disappointment he could finally hear a statement of love from his husband.

El drew his face closer to Abrine, but he waited for the woman to answer.

"Can?" the question again made Abrine blush until he finally nodded.

El tucked Abrine's hair behind his ear, then his fingers crept into the nape of his wife's neck, pushing it slowly to bring Abrine's face closer to her.

A kiss docked, but it was only for a moment, because next El held control over the lips of the wife.

Abrine slapped the chest of El's field to stop El's fondling from stopping even though he was almost out of oxygen.

"El.." said Abrine gasping.

Elrich shook his head while looking at Abrine. I don't know what he meant, but Abrine catches the point that El is not being rejected.

"Say you love me too!"

"Huh?" Abrine confusion. "No," she argued.

"Alright, don't blame me if you're gonna fall in love with me after this." El said as he took off his own shirt and wrapped Abrine's body under it.
