THE DOCTOR'S LOVE TRAP

THE DOCTOR'S LOVE TRAP
8. Caring

"Anne, please give me my job from two days ago. I'll finish it soon."

Anne looked back at Abrine in wonder. He had heard enough of Abrine's talk, but did not fully understand what Abrine was discussing through the cellular connection. He did not want to ask further because he felt the problem outside the job was not his realm.

Anne immediately retrieved some files that Abrine had to sign. Although it has been checked, Abrine still has to research it before staining his signature in each document.

"This time we have a meeting with Mr. Alison, Miss.." said Anne later.

"Well, that flirtatious bloke." Abrine muttered while nodding softly. However, he remembered his promise to Elrich who said he would come to the Hospital this afternoon.

"Put me to meet Mr. Alison's. I have urgent business."

"Good, Miss..." Anne left Abrine's room. Inwardly he wondered and was curious about the life of his reclusive superiors. His curiosity began when he accidentally saw Abrine fighting on the side of the road and Abrine won the fight. At first Anne feels wrong to see people, it turns out that what she saw was actually Abrine, the female CEO of the place where she worked.

As promised, Abrine visited the Hospital that afternoon. He went straight to Elrich's ward. It just so happened that the nurse had just put down a tray containing the man's lunch. When Abrine arrived, Elrich gave a smile.

"Help me out" said El to the point when Abrine had just sat down on the couch.

Abrine frowned, a moment later grumbling closer to ran jang Elrich and grabbed the tray of food.

"Why are you such a bitch," Abrine murmured softly as he wiped a spoon with a tissue.

"What's? Don't mumble!" Elrich clucked his tongue.

"Why? You're not happy? My life is not to please you!"

"Hurry up" said Elrich, rolling his eyes.

"You should've kept the nurse from feeding you. Why bother me!" grumbled Abrine while throwing a spoonful of food towards Elrich.

Elrich accepted the bribe. In his heart he laughed gladly at Abrine's grunts. He did not expect to prank this girl would feel fun and could comfort her when sick.

"I'm not bothering you. But this is the price you have to pay for breaking my right hand. I can't eat by myself. Ah yes, let alone eating even a bath is difficult."

"Whatchu mean? Did you also tell me to help you take a shower?" Abrine glared at El.

"May your advice, too" replied El Cuek as he went back to devouring the feed given by Abrine.

Abrine again grumbled, mimicking Elrich's style of speech while sneering without making a sound. That made Elrich laugh again.

"The first meeting, when you visited my ward at the time, I thought you were a cold, annoying, and untouchable man!" said Abrine.

Elrich smiled faintly. Abrine's judgment was not wrong. That is how others view him. "And the truth?" tanyanya.

"The truth is you're not as cold as I thought. You're kind enough to laugh easily, but still you're a bitch." Abrine.

Elrich feels funny himself with Abrine's compliments. Although the praise was equipped with a sneer, but not many people could see his warm attitude. That is, usually people do consider him a cold man. Only the closest person could see the friendly attitude behind the wall of self that he had built. And again, he used to be friendly only to certain people. Family, like.

But, after hearing Abrine's words, El felt that he had unintentionally shown his true identity to the girl, though usually he is not so in other people especially people he just knew like Abrine. I don't know, maybe Abrine's attitude or what Abrine has in him can make him behave as he is in front of this girl.

"Did your father not know about this situation of yours?" ask Abrine.

"No, I don't want him to know."

"Why?"

"You really want to know about my family?" El raises his eyebrows.

Abrine cast a glance as his eyes flashed with Elrich. "Yes-yes, because like you said on the phone earlier. At least, I also know a little about your family so that there is no suspicion from your father."

"Hmm, yeah... My father is sick. I just don't want to overload her mind if she knows this."

Abrine understood what El meant, as well as himself who did not want to make his parents think with all kinds of activities that he always made long ago, related to people who are victims in fighting incidents that often involve themselves.

"If I tell your father, what?" Abrine raised his eyebrows.

"If your mother how?"

"My mother does not exist. Never mind, don't talk about it." Elrich asks Abrine for a drink and Abrine complies.

Abrine was actually quite curious about El's mother, but she didn't want to interfere too deeply. Besides, who's El? Why should he know the details of his family life.

Not much knowing something will sometimes save you. That's how Abrine believed.

"If it's another family?" Abrine looked at El seriously.

"My brother is married, he lives in Sweden."

"Oh, if it's a sister?"

"My sister..." Elrich looked doubtful, but then continued. "No, I don't have a sister."

Abrine frowning. But again he did not want to ask further. She already knew enough of the Elrich family, meaning El's two brothers and her brother were in another state.

"You alone?" Elrich asked Abrine.

"Oh, I'm three brothers. We're triplets."

Elrich was amazed by Abrine's reply. "Really?"

"Huum, Aarav and Airish are married and they have returned to Indonesia."

"You are Indonesian? I thought you were German, your eyes were brown." Elrich said as he looked into Abrine's eyes he meant, inexplicably Abrine so he stared at the man's hazel iris. A few seconds of staring, the two immediately cut off eye contact with the attitude of each other's misbehavior.

"That's how it is" replied Abrine. "Our family had a mixed gene from my mother's Papa. My Indonesian face is not dominant, so I'm a descendant of hodgepodge," aborted Abrine melted the atmosphere that had been awkward between them.

"Rodgepodge. That's good." This time Elrich chuckled, but the thing that made Abrine surprised was not to hear El praise the Indonesian food, but Elrich spoke Indonesian now.

"You speak Indonesian?" Abrine asked in Indonesian anyway, wanting to convince himself if El did understand his words.

Elrich seemed to have regained consciousness with something, he looked at Abrine for a moment before finally nodding slowly.

"Well, if it's just Indonesian, hahahah" Abrine. This time he seemed more excited until El was astonished to see him.

"Why does it look so happy?" ask El then.

"Yes, I haven't talked about it in a long time. Ever since my family came back to Indonesia, my tongue feels stiff speaking German continues."

This time, Elrich looked at the old Abrine. It was as if he had just found something he was looking for in Abrine. Something different than before. Abrine looked more like he was and became himself using the Indonesian he chose.

Seeing Elrich's silent expression, Abrine became intrigued to find out more. "Do you understand what I was talking about?" tanyanya doubt.

"Very well," said Elrich flatly.

"You're an Indonesian course, huh?" guess Abrine is still with a witty smile on his face. Somehow with this language he became familiar with El.

"Not really," said Elrich bluntly.

"Then?"

"Here you go, don't talk about it. And again, use the usual language."

"uh? I don't want to. I'm comfortable with the Indonesian language."

"Where did you forget? Use good and true German," sibir Elrich held a smile.

Abrine rolled his eyes lazily. Why make it difficult if they understand each other's Indonesian. This is just between the two of them anyway. Truly this Elrich is a lousy and complicated man, the inner Abrine.
