32. Betting

Early in the morning, Elrich and Abrine had gone to the airport to pick up Edgar, Elena and her husband Hardin, because they had just arrived in Indonesia.

"Hi boy! How you doing?" Elena hugged El for a moment, then patted the man's wide shoulders familiarly.

"I'm great, Sist." El smiled at Elena.

Before long, El turned to Hardin, they were high-five ria while grinning at each other, it seemed that the two were also very close all along, only that there was a distance that had separated them.

Abrine himself prefers to greet Edgar who has a happy face.

"How are you, Uncle?" tanyakanya.

"Very good, better than our meeting at that time. Uncle can't wait for you to get married" Edgar said, making Abrine bowed in shame.

"My sister-in-law's candidate turned out to be very pretty." Elena and Abrine embrace. This was their first meeting, but Abrine was introduced as the future wife of his sister. It feels really fast indeed, but Elena thinks it is time for El to get serious in a relationship.

"You didn't say your sister was prettier than her picture, El!" abrine said which made them all chuckle softly.

Abrine and Elena were immediately familiar on the day of their first meeting, even the two were engrossed in chatting and decided to sit together on the back of the car sheet.

They arrived at Nev's residence after a forty-five minute drive. El helped bring the father's belongings helped by some people who worked in the big house.

The arrival of the Elrich family is warmly welcomed by Nev and Raya. They even prepared a lot of food to entertain special guests who came far from Germany.

They talked about the wedding that will happen in the next few days. Everything seemed to fit and there was no awkwardness anymore. They really do look like a real harmonious family.

Nev and Raya also introduce Edgar to his son Aarav, and his daughter Airish and their respective spouses. Not to forget they also introduced Jimmy-Nimas and Ken-Hana as their besan as well.

"That means we'll be a very big family later, so Mr Nev?" Edgar smiled enthusiastically.

"That's it, sir. So do not hesitate to come back to Indonesia. There will be many families here too." Nev answered familiarly.

But, there was one face that stared at that happiness with pushy eyes. She is Abrine. Abrine was afraid that eventually all this familiar togetherness would break apart, for he would part from Elrich one day.

"Do I have to think of any advice from Rachel? What if El won't touch me? If so, the hope of getting pregnant is free!" inner Abrine. He was in a dilemma now.

Will she also have to tease Elrich to get him to touch her? Wouldn't that make her like a cheap girl if she did it first? But, after Abrine thought about it, he indeed had to have a descendant from El in order for the man to heavily release him later. About his feelings, actually Abrine has begun to accept El even though he is not sure if he loves the man or not.

Abrine's wearing his jacket, he just got a call from Raymond. The man wanted to see her for the last time before Abrine actually got married. Raymond said that he would return to Germany after this and would not bother Abrine again.

Abrine initially refuses, but as Raymond promises to respect Abrine's decision if the girl takes the time for him tonight, Abrine must come to him as well.

Actually it was quite late at night, around 11 p.m., but Abrine had to finish and finish all his business with Raymond. He doesn't want any more hope between the two, either he or Raymond, they have to forget each other as soon as possible because Abrine is about to give up his girlhood.

Without saying goodbye to anyone, Abrine decides to leave the house. He took his car keys when the house was already quiet. The Elrich family stayed at the hotel. His brothers also went home after dinner together.

Without Abrine noticing, Elrich was still there. He did come back because he was about to take Elena's phone that was accidentally left behind. Elrich decides to follow Abrine in the taxi he used when he came back to the residence.

"Where is he going?" inner Elrich curious.

Abrine's car stopped at an area filled with noisy motor sounds. Yes, there are tracks that ABG children commonly use to do wild racing. Actually Abrine did not recognize this area because he also had not lived in Indonesia for a long time.

"Ray! Why here?" ask Abrine in wonder. He knew Raymond was a very automotive and racing hobbyist, but that happened back in Germany. While now they are in Indonesia and this area is illegal that does not allow racing. If the police find out, they will all be transported to the nearest police station.

"Over in Indonesia I was friends with them. It just so happens that they're all going to race here."

"But if this is known to the police, then everything will run out. You're also not a WNI, you can be deported."

"No problem, I'm going back to Germany, right? I'm not ready to see your wedding, Brine!" Raymond smiled faintly, that smile looked extremely pitiful.

"Alright, I've met you now. Can you hold onto your words? We will remain friends and cherish my decision to get married!"

"Do you still love me?"

"Is that important?"

"Of course, I just want to sort out how I feel if I know the truth about how you feel."

"I don't love you anymore, Ray..."

"So, I think everything that happened and what I saw between you and Freya at that time.has raised all my feelings for you to the point of not being left in here." Abrine touched his claustrophobic chest with his own words. Of course he's lying, it's not easy for him to forget Raymond.

"I don't think I can accept your decision yet, Brine!" lirih Raymond, along with that he saw someone who was standing not far from their position. "Especially you came here not alone. Why did you take her, Brine?" Raymond pointed at El with his chin. It was then that Abrine realized that El had followed him.

El approached at the position of the two, whereas before he was just silent and listened to the words of the two of them quite clearly because the distance was not too far away.

"El, are you here?" tanya Abrine gasped.

Elrich only smiled faintly, then he looked at Raymond who was grievously grieving. A great regret was deeply emanated in the iris of the man's eyes.

"Why? You're saying that I'm pathetic?" ask Raymond to El.

El just flicked his shoulders indifferently. "No, I just wanted to tell you not to see my future wife again!" he said his last word.

Abrine. He will explain to El later about his meeting with Raymond tonight, although El says he does not need an explanation, but he will keep telling him.

"Listen, I swear if I don't believe the wedding you're planning. I know Abrine better than you do! I know exactly what he is like. I'm pathetic, but you're a lot more pathetic than I am. You know why? Because you're just being used as a pair of impingements!" raymond said with a smile full of scorn on El.

"Ray!" abrine's Protest to Raymond. But the man had no intention of retracting his words.

I don't know why Raymond's words sparked anger for El. He was very upset even though he knew Raymond's words were true. From the beginning El already knew if he was made Abrine as a means of venting heartache, but he still did not accept the words that Raymond was. Moreover, the smile on Raymond's face really made his emotions peak.

"Whether you know Abrine, in fact, I'll marry him!" El smiled back at Raymond. He suppressed the anger in the heart and tried to be calm. "So, what do you want now?" challenge him with an understatement smile.

"Let's bet, sir! Who won the race tonight, he's the right to have Abrine. But, if you lose, then back off! Otherwise, get ready for your wedding I'll make it over before it even starts."

"What the fuck, Ray! You're making me a betting material?" Abrine looked at Raymond in disbelief.

"Sorry, at least I have to defend my faith, he has to retreat if he loses tonight!" Raymond was referring to Elrich trying to look calm.

"El, ignore what he said! There will be no bets!" firmly Abrine. Abrine, however, doubts El's ability to race.

"No, I'll do it" replied El calmly.

"You're crazy?" squeak Abrine while glancing.

Abrine turned to Raymond. Wish the man would withdraw his remark on this senseless gamble.

"Ray, whatever you do, it won't change anything. My marriage will continue! So, cancel this weird bet."

"You doubt that I could destroy your wedding plans?" Raymond asked Abrine.

"Alright, if you insist then let me fight you. We're both gonna bet, not El!" said Abrine riled.

Raymond shook his head violently while Elrich held Abrine's arm which seemed to have caught the air.
