6. Apologies

While in his room, Abrine was visibly agitated due to Raymond's arrival just a moment ago. It is undeniable that the speech of the young man is enough to make him think.

"You're worried about him?" guess Xander.

"That's how it is, she's just so because of me."

"No need to visit him. He'll be the one who'll be looking for you here." Xander knew that because El would definitely find out about this girl's condition.

"But I will be going back to the apartment in a moment" Abrine replied slowly.

Aided by Yemima and Xander, Abrine visits Elrich's ward in a wheelchair. Though Abrine had said that he could walk normally, but Yemima asked him to go up to the wheelchair provided.

When they arrived at the ward where Elrich was treated, they saw from the glass gap in the door of the room, apparently Elrich still seemed to sleep soundly. Time still shows at 7 a.m, but Abrine will be leaving the Hospital soon so he must visit Elrich as soon as possible to repeat a more appropriate apology and of course his thanks.

"He's still sleeping, I'm not feeling well." Abrine looked behind the body where Yemima and Xander were.

"It's okay, you just meet him. Tell me about your situation. She must have wanted to know too because her name was painted as your wali here." Xander explained as per the circumstances he knew.

"Ehm, about that why would he want to vouch for me and be my guardian, when this is all because of me?" ask Abrine.

"Yes, I should be your guardian here, Brine. Sorry, yesterday I was too scared and long looking for your family contacts. I have not made a decision, but when I want to propose myself, apparently El was first recorded as your guardian here," Yemima explained frankly.

Abrine nodded his head slowly. "But is that okay? And now, can I visit him? I feel like he's mad at me." Abrine looked doubtful.

"What's wrong, El won't be mad if you don't make trouble again." Xander gave a smile, the reason is that Abrine is not making trouble now, but they are here because of the mess he made, right?

"Brine, comein. We're just outside." Yemima. "It wouldn't be nice if it all went in instead it would interfere with El's rest later."

Abrine smiled a faint smile as he watched Elrich wake up. "Doctor, I-I came here to apologize. Maybe it's too late but this time my apology is earnest. I regret this incident that happened because of my carelessness." Abrine clenched both hands in front of his chest, pleading before the man who was lying down.

Elrich was still silent, he wanted to know what else this girl would say in front of him.

"And also thank you for being my guarantor here. I'll reimburse you for all the expenses that you've incurred." Abrine looked sincere with all his words.

But, Elrich himself already had plans for Abrine, so he couldn't possibly let go of this girl just like that. Maybe he could do this to another girl by paying some money, but taking advantage of Abrine's desperate situation of getting himself hurt seemed more fun. He does not need to bother looking for another suitable woman, the better one that is clearly in plain sight.
