20. He is the past

Upon arriving at Nev's residence, both Abrine and El remain silent a thousand languages. Abrine was too worried about offending El again. After she thought about it, she couldn't force Elrich to come clean to her about the man's mother.

True said El, he should not ask for blessing because their marriage is not a marriage that deserves to be approved because someday they both agreed to separate.

Elrich entered the guest room reserved for him during Abrine's parental stay. Abrine could only stare at the man's wide back which slowly moved away from his eyes.

"Have I gone too far with him?" inner Abrine. It seems like he was wrong to talk about Mother El in front of the man.

Abrine decided to go up to his room. He took a shower and put on some clothes. It just so happens that he misses his parents' house in Indonesia, so he will not waste his opportunity while here. He wants to feel again all the facilities that are here.

"Bi Yana, where are the others?" abrine asked when she accidentally ran into the housekeeper at the house.

"Oh, Mr. Nev was away with mom. He said he wanted to take care of Non Abrine's wedding needs."

"If Den Aarav and Non Rahelsa had gone home this morning."

"Airish?"

"Non Airish to the Hospital.Fast control of her pregnancy."

Abrine nodded. He decided to go to the Gym room that was on the right wing of the mansion.

Arriving there it turns out there is Elrich who is running on the treadmill.

Elrich stopped his activities, he seemed to be avoiding Abrine.

"El, wait.." prevent Abrine in a slow voice.

"I'm sorry to wear this room, I don't have any activities and feel bored" the man said, sounding cold.

Abrine did not comment on El's remarks that he thought were unimportant.

"Sorry," Abrine finally said.

Elrich turned his head and found Abrine bowed deeply.

"We're going to stay married, with or without the woman's blessing!" This time besides being cold, Elrich's speech also sounded resolute.

Abrine pitted, staring at the man's netra hazel. What did El mean by that? Does this mean El agreed to take her to meet her mother?

"El, i---"

"He is in Indonesia. Yes, that woman! If you insist on meeting him, then meet him!" Elrich stared intently at Abrine. "But without me!" coined.

"But El...."

"You're the one who wants to meet him, right? Meet up! But, as I said, whatever he says later.pervious or not, we'll still get married like our deal!"

Elrich passed from before Abrine who was stunned by the incident just now. Abrine brushed his hair back with a huff.

The next day, Abrine goes to an address El gave him. Yes, that's the address Elrich knew about where his mother lived while in Indonesia.

Armed with that address, Abrine ventured to come alone there because he did not want to invite El along, he was afraid that it would ignite El's emotions again later. Although El is angry at the mother, it does not discourage Abrine from coming to the mother of the man. For him this step is too naive for his marriage with El is temporary, but somehow his feelings want to make El and his mother forge a better relationship because after all they are mother and child.

Actually, Abrine did not understand why the relationship between mother and child became like El and his mother. But, he also felt he had no right to know and pry too deep into this problem by asking El considering his relationship with El was not the right relationship.

Abrine arrives at a house that is not too big but looks beautiful. The atmosphere is comfortable, there are many flowers and ornamental plants and there is a small pond in the yard of the house.

Abrine pressed the bell on the side of the fence. He can see a white Terios parked there, which means there's someone in it. Abrine hopes to meet the occupants of this house who he believes must be the mother of Elrich.

"Excuse me....." Abrine exclaimed loud enough that a woman not too old approached his position.

"There is, Non?"

"Oh, I want to meet Erika's mother. Is this really his house?"

"Who's the son, huh?" ask the woman, whom Abrine believes is the domestic worker or assistant in the house.

"I-i-"

"Mom! Please open the gate, dong! I'm going out!" Someone interrupted Abrine's conversation with the woman in front of him.

Abrine could still see inside the yard from the outside trellis of the fence that had not yet opened, he saw a tall man enter Terios' parked car. It seems like the man is in a hurry.

"I'm sorry, Non. I opened the gate first..Masnya want to go and exit the car."

"Oh, okay..." Abrine slightly stepped aside from the side of the gate, along with the housekeeper who pushed the fence wide open.

Before long, Terios' car was completely out of the gate, passing through the stricken Abrine while glaring at the side of the car.

"Sir, does Erika's mother exist?" Just now that sentence had been triggered from Abrine's lips, the next split second, his arm felt held by someone.

Abrine realizes that this person is the same person who entered Terios' car. On the one hand, apparently the car had stopped and the driver was now beside Abrine.

Abrine stared at his tightly held arm, then turned to look at who this person who dared to touch was.

However, at once Abrine gasped, his heart pounding loudly, along with a humming sound in his ears that made him almost wide in shock.

"Abrine?!"

"You-you?" Abrine swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. Not to mention that he was able to digest the situation, that person had already made a sound again.

"You're really Abrine, my God...."

Abrine held his temple while biting his lips firmly. He was confused by this situation himself.

"You ... How can I stay at home?" asked the man again, sounding very cheerful.

"Your houses?" Abrine. The person in front of him is a man from his past. Wildans. Yeah, he's Wildan. Suppose they were dating first, even though it was actually a side decision that Wildan made without caring about Abrine's answer in the past.

"Yes, this is my house. You... find me?" Wildan chuckles jokes. "Brine, I didn't expect to see you again today. You haven't changed much, but you look grown up and more beautiful now." The young man's face looked so crisp as to signify he was truly happy to meet Abrine.

"If Erika's mother was---"

"Oh, Mama. You looking for Mama? How can I find Mama, what's the business?"

"Mama?" Now Abrine gasped in shock. What does all this mean?

"Yes, Erika's mother is my mother, Brine! Yes, let's go in! I'll go later!" Wildan quickly brought Abrine into the house.

"Ma! Mama.." exclaimed Wildan calling towards the house.

Abrine's getting confused now. On his head had sprung many questions, but his mouth seemed to be tightly clenched could not make any sound. Abrine recalled the time when his last breakup with Wildan was about 7 years ago, at that time he would go to Germany to follow all the families who would do treatment on Aarav who was then sentenced to temporary paralysis.

"Abrine!" exclaimed someone and Abrine turned to the person who called his name. He sees Wildan standing at the end of the corridor of the ICU-room where Aarav is still being treated.

Abrine looked at his father, asking through the eyes, can he find Wildan? Nev nodded briefly, no matter what his daughter's relationship with the man, but he felt they needed to talk let alone related to his decision to move abroad.

Abrine walked slowly, headed towards Wildan.then they spoke in the waiting chair that was on the other side of the corridor.

"What's wrong?" abrine asked Wildan.he sat down with his head down staring at the flip flops he was wearing.

"Sorry, I just heard about the incident that happened to your brother, so I just visited now."

Abrine turned to Wildan, since when did this guy speak this language to him? Sounds weird.

"Yes, it's okay."

"Where is he?"

"Not good, which is clear Papa intends to give the best treatment for Kak Aarav. We're all moving to Germany" Abrine said.

Wildan gasped. "To Germany?" tanyanya.

Abrine nodded.

"What about our deal, Brine?" ask Wildan slowly.

"Sorry, I can't help you anymore to be a pretend girlfriend, I will leave Indonesia" said Abrine Lirih.

Wildan was silent for a while, until he finally spoke again.

"We can still communicate through cell phones and social media, right, Brine?"

"Maybe."

"I'm .. I'll wait for you to come back to keep that promise, Brine!" said Wildan lirih.

"Lo find another girl who can help you, I'm sure many will, really! Don't be a pretend boyfriend, so a real girlfriend is also sure to want!"

"Who wants to be a real girlfriend?" ask Wildan.

"Yes a lot! Choose one of them to want to!"

"How do I choose you, how? Do you want to too?"

Abrine's heart thumped at Wildan's words, whether Wildan was serious or not saying it clearly now Abrine was feeling uneasy because of the man's statement.

"Lo is weird!" Abrine forced a laugh.

"What a weird?" ask Wildan.

"Yes, yesterday was the agreement we were dating pretend, now why is nawarin dating really!" Abrine grinned, hiding his nervousness.

"Because I think it's better..."

"Better what?"

"It's better to try than not at all" Wildan chuckled.

"So.. what the hell! Then why is it that you're talking to me now?"

"It's more polite to be heard." Wildan is grinning.

Abrine threw a glance in the other direction. He knew all of Wildan's offers couldn't possibly be answered.

"So how? You want to, right?"

"What?" ask Abrine to act stupid.

"So real girlfriend."

"I'm going to move, I don't know until when in Germany. You look for someone else, a fellow student like you for example, not a little girl like me."

Wildan was speechless, he heard Abrine talking with a different call, it turned out to be much better than before. It makes her love this girl even more.

"I'll be waiting for you, Brine."

"That's up to you. I don't want to force you, you're free and I don't tie you to any relationship."

Wildan only smiled faintly at Abrine's words.
