"Because I'm your wife, El." Abrine laughed softly at the end of his sentence.
El doesn't want to push his wife anymore. Maybe Abrine still needs time for that taste expression. Or maybe Abrine hasn't come to the loving phase? I don't know. But El hopes big if he can win the heart of his wife, because he has realized that he loves the woman even in a short period of time together.
"I'll buy you coffee, wait a minute" said El patting the back of his wife's hand gently and Abrine nodded.
El went to the coffee sales booth around the place. Thankfully they are not climbing the mountain but what they come to does include tourist destinations - where many outlets serve food and drinks.
As soon as El, Abrine looked back at the expanse of sight that spoiled the eyes. But, he gasped as someone sat before him without excuse. That man was not El her husband, but Raymond.
"Ray, are you here?" Abrine sighed softly. She had a hard time deciphering her feelings for this man right now. Love, love or what? He doesn't know. But, he couldn't just hate Raymond either.
Raymond smiled faintly. "I'm following you," he admitted frankly.
"For what, Ray? Go!" expel Abrine. He knows now that it was Raymond who followed them yesterday. The feeling is not wrong, they are being followed.
Raymond shakes. He pulled Abrine's arm away from the crowd.
"Ray! What the fuck!" Abrine brushed aside Raymond's grip on his arm until the link came off.
Raymond looked at Abrine full of disappointment.
"I heard you and Freya fighting the other day."
Abrine nodded then sniffed his shoulder.
"Sorry, it must be because of me."
"Forget that. Go home, Ray! There's no point in you being here."
"You also met my mother, right? Did he say anything no? Please forgive my mother, Brine."
"What's wrong, Aunt Xena just asked me to come see you. He said you were sick." Of course Abrine did not tell Raymond that Xena had underestimated El, her husband.
"But you didn't see me, hmm?"
"Yes, I haven't had time. You're healthy too, right?"
Raymond held both of Abrine's shoulders. "Are you happy?" tanyanya diverted the conversation.
"Of course, as you can see. El and I are on our honeymoon now."
Raymond smiled faintly. "I'm sorry, Brine. I can't forget you. But if you're happy now, I won't bother you anymore. Your happiness is also part of my happiness. I'm just here to worry about you."
"Thank you, Ray. I hope you find your happiness later too. You don't have to worry about me anymore, there's El taking care of me now."
Raymond nodded. "May I hold you one last time?" tanyanya slow.
Abrine smiles. "Come here, you're my best friend, right?" she stretched out her arms and hugged Raymond and patted him on the back several times.
"I let you go, Brine. I hope you're really happy after this."
Abrine laughed softly, he formed the letter O with his index finger and thumb. "Okay," said.
Meanwhile, El, who had finished buying coffee in a booth, returned to his original place where Abrine was. He did not find Abrine there and he immediately searched for his wife.
El gasps when he finds Abrine and Raymond hugging. He could see it clearly in front of his own two eyes. Although he could not hear what they were talking about, but the sight was enough to make him jealous.
El wanted to pull Abrine right then and there, but somehow his legs were hard to step on. Making it could only stand stiff until Abrine and Raymond broke the link between their bodies.
El held his feelings deep. After all, he knew that Raymond was the man Abrine once loved. Although Abrine is now his wife, he does not know if Abrine has forgotten Raymond or not.
Raymond passed from before Abrine, he passed the opposite way. She did not see El who had seen her treatment of Abrine just now.
Abrine also does not realize that El had seen him with Raymond. When she turned around, she could see her husband there.
"El, did you find me here?" ask Abrine clumsy. Did he have to tell El that he just met Raymond? Abrine felt wrong.
"What are you doing here, Brine?" Finally El could open his voice asking for his wife.
"I ... earlier ...." Abrine is confused, she fears El is angry when she's honest, but if she lies, she'll feel guilty about her husband. "So I met with Ray-mond," she admitted.
"Oh..." El appreciated the honesty of his wife. "He came here to see you?"
"Not really, I think he's on vacation here too." Abrine rubs his own neck. He's nervous, there's no way he's honest about Raymond following them here, maybe El's pissed off at his best friend later. Not to protect Raymond, but Abrine didn't want any commotion.
Elrich nodded faintly. He offered Abrine a cup of coffee to enjoy.
Abrine accepted that. He drank it slowly. A warm feeling ran down his throat. But her second gulp stopped when she heard her husband's words.
"Do you still love her, Brine?"
Abrine almost spewed out the coffee that had just entered his mouth. He looked at El with an incomprehensible look.
Abrine speechless. While El stared at the view of the river flowing down there.
"Is my current position as your husband not yet able to make you forget him?"
"El... Why are you suddenly asking this?"
"Javab it, Brine!" el Desperate. "Did everything that happened not open your eyes? What did he do to you? What did he do to me during that race? Can't it make your feelings erode from her?"
Abrine gulped his saliva down quickly. "El, Raymond's my best friend."
"Yes, the friend you love!"
Abrine did not deny that, as he did not know how to interpret his current feelings either. He told me that he was confused, whether he still loved Raymond, loved him or no longer felt. He just can't hate his best friend. That's reality.
"Is everything we've been through to this day unable to open your heart to me, Brine?" El shook his head slowly. He felt like he was begging for love for his wife, something El had never done in his 29 years.
"El, I respect you as my husband. I'm not leaving you. You know that, right?"
El looked at Abrine with a sad look. "Listen to me, I also cherish you as my wife, I have also promised not to leave you. But, that's what I do because I have a reason. It's all because I love you, Brine."
Abrine bowed lethargic, now he knew what El wanted from him.
".... while you? Why would you do that, Brine? You don't have a reason," El added, crunching a plastic cup of the coffee she's had.
"El, it's not so. I have a reason to do it."
"Yes, your reason is because you're my wife, right? Stop, Brine. We don't have to talk about it anymore." El looked at Abrine. "It's good, we're back at the inn now."
Along the way, there was only silence between the two. Abrine opened his mouth several times to speak, but then he stopped to start.
El himself only focused on driving his car to arrive at the inn.
Arriving in front of the inn, it was dark again. Abrine felt something strange on his body drastically and suddenly. For some reason, he felt very cold.
"Let's get off!" el said as he moved from his seat. He opened the door and got out of his range rover car.
As he walked, El realized that Abrine was not following his steps. The woman was still in the car and not moving at all. El approaches Abrine and knocks on the windshield from outside.
"Brine, let's go down. Why stay there?"
"E-el."
El felt something was wrong. He immediately opened the car door and held Abrine's forehead to check his temperature.
"You don't have a fever. What's the matter, honey?" El panic. Abrine was fine.
El immediately carried Abrine's body, his body felt trembling.
"Abrine, can you hear me?" El was worried because Abrine looked limp and pale. His body also felt cold to the touch. El wants to check Abrine's situation in their room.
"Hmmm..." Abrine simply replied with a mutter. He's freezing really cold.
A few steps from the car while carrying Abrine. Raymond was already seen near them. El was not surprised by his presence.
"Do you want to be here?" ask El coldly.
"Why Abrine?" raymond asked no less coldly. Actually, he could have guessed this.
"It's none of your business!"
Raymond paid no heed to El's words. He looked at Abrine with a worried look. "Brine, are you okay?" tanyakanya.
"In-gin..." It was the only thing that came out of Abrine's mouth and Raymond noticed it right away.
"Breng sek! Hypothermia Abrine relapses!" yammond knows who he is. He panics, even opening his jacket to cover Abrine's body.
Hearing that, El swerved. "Hypothermia?" hissing slowly.
"Yes, Abrine has a history of hypothermia. You shouldn't have taken her to a cold place like this!" raymond was upset. This was what caused him to stalk El and Abrine, he was worried that Abrine would relapse if it was in this place of their destination.
El was surprised. He doesn't know this. Hypothermia can indeed come back especially in someone who has suffered from the disease before.
