El has found himself. He is not an unwanted child. He is a contested child.
From his mother's diary, El knows all the facts.
Emily and Edgar married first, a marriage without the blessing of both sides of the family. Marriage that is only religiously legal but not state-recognized.
They were desperate to get married, but decided to delay the presence of a child because of the strange relationship between the two.
Shortly after, Edgar was betrothed to Naina. Edgar refuses because he loves Emily. But, she is framed in one night which causes Naina to have to contain her seeds.
Emily insists on separating from Edgar, but Edgar disapproves of it because only Emily is the one he loves.
With a heavy heart, Emily approves of Edgar to marry Naina who is pregnant. When Elena was born, Edgar began to love his little family with Naina.
That's how Emily was tested. He realized that he was now the third person among them even though he had initially tried to be happy.
At the age of two years, Emily is still trying to be patient in a relationship sharing a husband. Though in her little heart she also wants to have a warm family like Naina has.
Eventually, Naina is diagnosed with the disease. She has stage 3 cervical cancer.
The hopes of the Edgar family who really wanted a grandson had to be dashed there. But at the same time it was Emily who was pregnant and the fetus was a baby boy.
With Naina's own initiative, she meets Emily to seek custody of the baby Emily is carrying.
Naina promises to regard the baby as her child and attached as a child who has the legal power in a valid birth certificate.
At first, Emily refused. He also wants a full family. That's where his selfish side surges. She wishes Naina died soon, so she can have Edgar alone. She could nurture Elena along with the baby she was carrying. Then, she would raise them together later.
Is it Emily's fault to hope that way? He had waited long enough to be with Edgar. He was tired of being so heartened all this time.
Unfortunately, Emily's hopes had to be dashed instantly because one day she heard Edgar saying he wanted to leave her for Naina. He didn't know what Edgar meant to talk like that. He only overhears Naina and Edgar's conversation by accident.
Edgar also said that forever his relationship with Emily will never work because Emily is the son of a conglomerate that the family can not let go just for the sake of a man like Edgar.
Moreover, Edgar has been blending Emily all this time. Theresia-mother Emily-do not let this marriage continue.
After giving birth, Emily decides to leave her baby unbeknownst to Edgar.
Emily carries her heart wound alone. He gave up his son-Elrich-to be taken care of by Naina. Because he knew all Edgar's words were true. Theresa couldn't have kept him in this marriage with Edgar.
But, his son also has the right to a decent life by bearing the status of a legitimate child in the eyes of the law.
If Emily had brought El along, maybe she could have made a nepotism in El's birth papers, though that would have been a problem in the future.
But, if he is reckless to bring El, it will make El will never get the figure of a father, because Emily does not intend to marry again until anytime.
His son Elrich deserves a better life with his parents.
So, he had to leave Elrich with Naina. That way, his son will get a whole family.
As well as Edgar, he also had the right to take care of his son, because Elrich was a real form of love for both of them.

But this also taught El one thing, namely the affection of his mother he could not value even though piles of money were scattered on his side.
El harbored it to be a lesson in his life. At the very least, everything he knew to this day was a wisdom he could draw not to repeat the same mistakes his father had made.
On one occasion, El invited his wife to visit Edgar at the man's Villa.
He did not mention the contents of his late mother's diary to Edgar. He could not have told his father that his mother had put such great disappointment on the man.
But, from here Elrich knows why his father always gave him advice.
"Be a better husband than Dad."
Maybe Edgar also had regrets in his past. Regarding Edgar's third marriage to Erika, the father did not put his love on the woman. El knows her father married Erika because she feels Erika will be a good mother to El and Elena after Naina's death. Because at that time, Erika was a baby sitter who was employed in their home and looked very fond of them.
"Dad, today we're going to the funeral."
"A funeral? Do you want to visit Mama Naina's grave?"
Elrich shakes. He specifically picked up his father to the last navel of Emily, his birth mother.
"We can go to Mama Naina's grave tomorrow or sometime. But, today we're going to my mother's funeral."
Edgar frowned, he threw a glance at Abrine as if asking his daughter-in-law what El meant.
"To my mother's grave" said Elrich sounding cold. However she hid, she still felt heartache from the suffering of the woman who had given birth to her.
At that moment Edgar was stunned. His eyes are perfectly round. Has his search been over? Yes, he had finally found the woman he had been looking for. Emily.
But, that means Elrich found it first. And funerals? What does it mean Emily is dead? Did ya?
Is this a dream?
"I want to apologize to my late mother even though it's too late. I want to thank him for everything he has given me in any form."
Edgar was still speechless, he just stared at the look of the child and his compact son-in-law wearing all-black clothes.
"One more thing, I also want to hear my father's apology to my late mother."
By late afternoon, they arrived at the funeral. There are not too many other people's centers like burial places in general. There are only a few and Emily's grave is located under an acacia tree.
The pusara is decorated by brownish natural rocks. On top of it are lined fresh flowers. Someone may have visited the tomb. The tombstone was engraved with a name.
Emily Langford's. With silver engraving.
A photo of a very beautiful young woman is also attached in the same tombstone.
Maybe it was taken when Emily was Abrine's age. She looked very young with a warm smile that displayed a natural beauty side.
"Mother, we've finally met...."
