14. No longer sick but disappointed

"Hey, Doctor! You're drunk, crazy or possessed, huh?" Abrine leaned on Elrich with his annoyance as soon as he finished talking to Edgar a moment ago.

Elrich just stared at the girl at a glance, sat cross-legged then watched tv as if no one there was staring at her with an angry expression.

"You hear me, don't you?" cerca Abrine who immediately approached Elrich in his position, he blocked the view of El who was staring at the television.

Abrine ruffled his waist with breath up and down. Eagerly wanting to check or harass this man right now, because of the unilateral decision Elrich made without telling him first. Elrich said he would marry her in two months. Huh, what other joke is this?

"You've been honest with my father, haven't you? So, what did my dad say?" Elrich even said casually and sat down to Abrine who stood before him.

Abrine grunting. "She still approved of the marriage, bod*h!" he said with genuine regret.

Elrich laughed loudly. "I've guessed," he said with an oddity.

"What do you mean?"

"Even if I'm honest, my father will still tell me to marry you."

"God...really!" Abrine looked at El Nyalang. "This is no longer using me, doctor! You know, you're catching me!" abrine clenched his hand in front of Elrich's face.

Elrich nodded. "Yups," he answered. "You want to hit me? Yes, do it!" El offers his cheek to Abrine, to be stabbed by the girl.

Abrine growled furiously, but he could only show his fists before the man with an extremely annoyed expression. He doesn't want to hit Elrich because he's afraid El will take advantage of it again and make new demands if he hits him.

"You really don't want to marry me?" elrich asked with a soft laugh, making Abrine who was about to pass from the room instantly stop his steps.

"You think marriage is a game?" sarcasm of Abrine.

Finally, Abrine walked into the guest room, he tidied up all his remaining items. He was about to leave this Villa immediately and did not want to be bound by any more business with Elrich. As for Edgar's request, he had already subtly rejected it, even though he knew he had let the middle-aged man down. Seen a sad look at both of Edgar's old netra when Abrine closed the conversation earlier. However, Abrine had to reject that. He had no reason to accept the marriage between himself and Elrich - which Edgar had hoped for.

"Where are you going?" Elrich looked at Abrine fixedly.

"Go home" the girl replied briefly.

"You're here with me. So, come home with me too."

"No way!" ketus Abrine's.

"If you want to go home now, wait a minute, I'll take my things and we'll go home together."

"You didn't hear? I said I didn't want to! I can take care of myself." Abrine panned El, sharp.

But, the young man stared back at him with the same look. "What kind of self-preservation do you mean? Drunk, and careless until you end up in the hospital, is that what you mean by being able to take care of yourself?" tanyakanya.

"I wasn't drunk that night!"

"But the truth?"

"Here you go, don't remind me of it again!"

"I will keep reminding you!" el said, although he himself was still anxious if later Abrine would remember that the girl did not hit him at all, but he was the one who drove the car and slammed the steering wheel.

"Why? You forget what happened that night!"

"Where can I forget that night, because that night you were-" Elrich almost said about Abrine who had been presumptuous to kiss him the night of the accident, but immediately his words stopped.

"It's got us both fucked!" That was the word El said.

Abrine speechless. El's words were right, he and his carelessness caused everything to run down. In fact, it led him to this point, where now he had to get caught up in Elrich's game.

Finally they went home together, using the taxi that El ordered. Edgar let go of the two unwillingly, but nevertheless he handed all the decisions to both Elrich and Abrine. Not forgetting Edgar spoke his wish before the two actually left Villa that afternoon.

"Daddy hope you can grant father's wish. Build a better relationship, I wait for the happy news soon."

Edgar hugged his son. Then switch to Abrine.

"Abrine, Uncle also wishes for you to think about Uncle's words. Think, boy! Uncle prays for you to be a fool."

Abrine understood Edgar's disappointment at his rejection, but he could not take Elrich for granted because he also knew there was no sense in between them. Abrine realizes that his heart still loves Raymond. Likewise, he realized that Elrich invited him to marry just because of his father's insistence.

While in the taxi, no one spoke either Elrich or Abrine.

Reading all the messages from Raymond warmed Abrine's heart. It was undeniable that in the depths of his heart he was pleased with the decision Raymond made

"So you broke up with her?" inner Abrine.

Although Abrine did not force Raymond to decide Freya because of him, because he did not want to be considered to have taken Raymond from the woman, but still the main reason Raymond did it must be because of his words the other day.

I don't know, the most important thing is that Raymond has chosen and that means Raymond wants to be someone better by abandoning his bad habits. Abrine's heart felt flowery now, making him smile himself.

Elrich took a quick glance at Abrine, he only let out a long sigh when he saw the change in look on the girl's face. But, in his heart of gratitude for seeing Abrine already smiling back, it meant that the girl was already back in a good mood.

The journey back to the city center takes almost an hour and a half. As he was about to arrive, Elrich decided to open his voice to Abrine.

"I'll take you to the front of your apartment."

"No need!" reject Abrine quickly.

Elrich frowned inside. "So, where's this cab going to take us? I want to make sure you get home because you're coming with me so you're my responsibility!"

"Then take me to Excelo Apartment."

Elrich frowned again, he knew that there wasn't where Abrine's apartment was. Wanted to ask, but she finally chose to be quiet and nodded at the girl's request.

Reading Raymond's message, Abrine wanted to give the man a little surprise. He wanted to go to Raymond's apartment, and explain everything that happened to him, including the marriage he was referring to on the phone. Although Abrine was actually upset when he had to step on the unit again - because it would definitely remind him of the moment he caught Raymond and Freya back then - but he tried to forget about it, because Raymond was about to change for the better. Doesn't everyone deserve a second chance?

Abrine arrives at Raymond's apartment when it's dark, he presses a password he already knows. But, again, this incident was like a Dejavu to him. He saw a woman's heels lying in origin in the living room. Along with that, he heard a female voice.

Abrine choked, all his courage like clumping in the esophagus, united with adrenaline and his throbbing heartbeat as he approached the main room that belonged to Raymond.

Abrine did not want to do the same thing the other day, by directly pressing the doorknob. This time, Abrine preferred to listen to the conversation from inside the room because the door was not closed.

"Are you satisfied? You happy I'm here?" It was Freya's voice. Abrine smothered his own mouth. Didn't Raymond say he had cut ties with Freya? Then, what is this? Why else would Abrine have to watch the two of them in the same room and place?

Abrine tried to peek. He sees Freya buttoning back Raymond's shirt, a sign that their romance is over.

"Don't avoid me anymore. I can't without you" Raymond replied in his characteristic hoarse voice that sounded heavy.

"Now, am I going home? Or do you want me to go to bed?" said Freya again with her spoiled voice.

Abrine couldn't bear to see that, he had no intention of approaching Raymond. He immediately turned around. The taste this time was more than pain, this was a great sense of disappointment. Although there was no bond between him and Raymond, but why should this kind of thing continue to be witnessed more than once?

Abrine realized that he had lost the man. Raymond wasn't for her. A second chance for Raymond should not exist, because the chance he gave today was his last.

Abrine exited the Apartment building with a slight run. He stopped the taxi at first, enduring the agonizing pain. The disappointment made him want to scream. His tears came back for the same man and the same mistake.

Abrine was surprised when he entered the taxi, it turned out that the taxi was the same taxi that delivered it earlier. The taxi had the same person in it. Yes, he is Elrich.

"You haven't come back yet?" abrine asked Elrich with a face that had been flooded with tears.

"I'm waiting for you, I told you you're my responsibility today."

Abrine's cry broke out instantly again. He didn't expect Elrich to be waiting for him.

"Say, why are you waiting for me!" sue Abrine. She was embarrassed when El saw her crying like this. Though all this time he had never cried in front of others, maybe Raymond alone had seen it this way.

"Nothing, my feeling is that you won't be in that building for long!" said Elrich indifferently.

Abrine looked at the old El. Until he came to a decision.

"Well, how about we really get married, Doctor!" he sounds sure.
