33. Worried feeling

Elrich paid no heed to Abrine's remarks, he felt his pride was at stake here. Especially after Raymond's challenge was heard by some teenagers in the region, they were all like waiting for Elrich's decision. Dare to accept or refuse to back down this gamble.

"El, no!" Abrine shook his head, as if to signal that Elrich could not take Raymond's offer for granted.

Raymond pulled the key of the motorcycle there, threw it at Elrich and was swiftly captured by the man. Elrich doesn't even know whose bike he's going to use for tonight's race, he never prepares.

"El, are you sure? Let's just go home, El...." Abrine shakes Elrich's arm shortly after El rides a large, black motorcycle that Raymond had previously appointed him to ride.

Elrich shakes. "I can't," he said.

"I don't want to be made into a gamble, El.." please Abrine.

"It's not about that, it's more about my pride!" elrich concluded and managed to silence Abrine's mouth, Abrine was silent at once but he snorted for a moment.

"El I'm afraid something bad happened."

"You're worried about me?"

Abrine nodded. I don't know how she feels right now. Moreover, he knew this was not Elrich's field. The race had not yet started but Abrine was already convinced Raymond would win it.

"It's not your forte.. Let's just go home!"

"You underestimated me?"

"No, but I'm really worried about you."

"Rather than you like that, you better help me so that your friend loses to me."

"How can I help you?" abrine asked in confusion.

Elrich pulled Abrine's arm closer. Before starting the action, he first glanced at Raymond who was watching him and Abrine closely.

"He will be riled up because of this," said Elrich grinning faintly. Without a word, he instantly pulled Abrine's nape and kissed his lips right then and there. Let alone Raymond, Abrine himself was surprised by the action that El did to him. But, he did not fight back at all, even dissolving and feeling that for the first time.

"Thank you for the spirit, baby!" el said as he rolled his eyes at Abrine who was frozen in place.

Raymond's eyes were puffed up, not believing what he had just seen. True to El's estimation, the man is going awry now. Raymond growled furiously, annoyed and wanting to curse El right then and there.

Raymond came to El with a dead red face.

"What?" el asked without any guilt at all. After all, Abrine's his future wife. Who wants to ban it here? Raymond's? Can't!

Raymond was eager to hit El, but Abrine immediately took over the situation.

"Do you still want to race?" abrine asked without daring to put on a face because she was too embarrassed to show her merry look in front of everyone.

"Yes, what are you waiting for!"

In the end, Raymond and Elrich actually bet in that wild race track. They are competing to outperform the most forward position.

On the other hand, Abrine watched the spectacle with anxious expectation. Honestly, he doesn't know who to side with. Raymond was not his enemy. While El, only her temporary husband. But, the kiss that El gave her earlier felt very real and shook her heart. El was wrong, not only did it upset Raymond, but his heart as well.

To be honest El was very uncomfortable with this, especially he still had his lightning kiss with Abrine a moment ago. Why would he want to do that? Indeed, he wanted to make Raymond upset because of his scene with Abrine, but after he realized, it made Raymond more eager to defeat him.

Raymond glanced at El at a glance from his position who was riding a motorcycle at an equally fast pace. A thin grin slanted on his lips.

Until finally, the finish line was already visible on the verge of their eyes, apparently the motor driven Raymond experienced a problem. He soon realized that too.

Raymond didn't want to lose to El, he knew that El would beat him tonight because the problem was not from him but from the bike he was riding. Raymond quickly crossed the path that El should have crossed. In other words, Raymond deliberately made the accident happen and inevitable.

The sound of the impact of two large motors clashing sounded very hard hit the asphalt of the road.

"They're accidents! Raymond's motor hit his opponent's motorbike!" shouted one of the men who was apparently friends with Raymond.

"E.L.....?" Abrine gasped as he felt El's body move slowly.

"Brine?" El looked around. Yeah, he realized they're in the hospital now.

"We're getting married, right?" tanya El then made Abrine astonished.

"Why are you asking me that?" pissed Abrine.

Elrich smiled faintly. He reached out and rubbed Abrine's cheek slowly. To be honest when the accident occurred, his mind was actually triggered by some footage of the incident since his meeting with Abrine. Their moments of togetherness swirled around in his head like a documentary being played in his memory.

"El, thank God you're okay. Don't do anything like this anymore. I won't forgive myself if something happens to you" Abrine said. The girl seemed to shed tears. Either El feels he's too dramatic, or Abrine is very afraid of something bad happening to El.

"I haven't told our family yet, El. If you were like this, what would I tell them?" lirih Abrine's.

El rubbed Abrine's cheeks wet with tears, only once did he see the tough girl cry and it was because of her.

"You're crying because of me?" ask El gently.

"Of course not! I told you I was afraid something might happen to you."

"Yes, it means because of me." El replied in a weak voice.

"No! I'm afraid I can't answer questions from our family. I'm afraid of being blamed!"

Elrich knew it was Abrine's only excuse, this girl never feared anything. Elrich believes Abrine is crying over him and somehow he is happy with the accident. "What did the doctor say?" tanyakanya.

"You're okay. But look, you've had a lot of blisters on your body!"

"It's okay, it'll heal later."

"But our wedding is in a few days. Are you sure you can marry into this situation?"

"Have it, don't think about it, it's just an ordinary wound. Real men are usually hurt!" elrich's ending makes Abrine bow.

"How's your friend doing?" The friend El meant was, of course, Raymond.

"I haven't seen him."

"Come in.." said El without looking at Abrine. "She's the guy you love, isn't she?" continued.

Abrine took a long breath. "I'm going to see him, but I don't want to talk about it."

"All right, it's up to you." El closed his eyes. "Ah, don't tell this to my family. I'll explain it to them and give them a reasonable reason."

Abrine was just about to answer when it turned out that Wildan had entered the ward that was taking care of Elrich.

"Sister, are you okay?" ask Wildan to El.

When Abrine is devastated by the accident that befell El and Raymond, he is confused who to contact. Asking his family for help will create new problems. While Abrine did not have many friends in Indonesia because he had long left this city. Inevitably and with no other choice, Abrine contacts Wildan to help him deal with the matter. Moreover, the owner of the motorbike used by El was asking for compensation to repair his motorbike, while Abrine could not take care of it, because he had to take El and Raymond directly to the nearest hospital.

"Hmm, I'm fine. Thanks for helping." El doesn't know if Wildan did it not for himself but for Abrine. So, in El's mind was that Wildan was really in good faith with him after his apology back then.
