71. Who are you, Madam?

Abrine hasn't been in the office for a week. It was all because of El who was very protective of him. In fact, in the early days of this pregnancy he did not experience problems such as vomiting and excessive nausea.

All her work was done by Anne. Almost every day Anne would come to visit her apartment if there were documents that needed her approval.

"Alright, you can work but I'll hire a driver to drive you wherever you go."

Abrine agreed without protest. Like when El who had also introduced him to a maid who was now officially working in their Apartment.

Abrine understood, El is very unwilling if he is exhausted. Actually, El's attitude is very considerate, but he always considers El excessive because he is used to doing everything himself.

That morning, Abrine returned to work. Examine what Anne has presented before her as her work today.

"Why are you looking at me with a smile like that, Anne?" he asked when he found Anne who smiled meaningfully at him.

Anne does not know if she is pregnant. He also did not make it as an excuse because he did not come to the office a few days ago.

"Yes, I am pregnant now. It's just between the two of us, yeah. I don't want anyone else to know about this."

"Well congratulations, Miss. I'm happy too. If only I could get married soon." Anne muttered at the end of her sentence.

"You'll definitely find someone right, later."

"Hopefully, Miss. but I'm not sure."

"Why?"

"So, I don't feel sure."

They both spoke familiarly unlike superiors and subordinates. Sometimes Abrine would rather be relaxed without formal rules.

"Or have you ever been heartbroken at someone?"

Anne just chuckled softly in response to the review Abrine gave. From there Abrine could deduce something.

"I'm sorry if this is outside of our job. I just wanted to tell you that as painful as anything you've ever felt. Rest assured that there will be someone capable of treating it."

Abrine laughed loudly after saying that. He did not expect, after he realized apparently his words sounded very wise. Maybe it was an experience that allowed him to say that. He used to be heartbroken but now his broken heart has been healed and almost recovered.

The appointed day finally arrives, Abrine and Anne will come to a fancy restaurant located quite far from their office location. With the driver delivered, they both finally arrived there.

Their meeting table with the Heaven Company party was already provided. It seems that the company has indeed prepared this meeting quite maturely.

"Anne, who's their representative coming to see us today? What's the secretary of the company?"

Anne shook her head faintly. "Like the first deal they put in, Miss. The owner will come directly."

Abrine had not expected that today he would actually be met by the Director of Heaven Company.

"All right, let's just wait. There's still five minutes left before the meeting."

They arrived early for fear of being late.

Exactly at 2 pm local time. Three people dressed formally came before them. Two of them Abrine can make sure are bodyguards. One woman in the middle must be the Director of Heaven Company.

"Good day, Madam." Abrine reached out and was greeted by the woman who looked to be that old.

The woman shook Abrine's hand with a raised smile. His face looked shady, his hair was gray. This woman should have deserved to retire, but she was still very charismatic and young at heart.

"Mrs Abrine Gustav?" tanyakanya.

Abrine looked at the woman astonished. Yes, she was Elrich's wife but she never changed her last name in public. In other words, only the closest person or those who really know him only-who currently knows the husband's last name.

Why did this middle-aged woman know him by that name?

"Y-yeah.. with Mrs Theresia?" Honestly speaking, Abrine was nervous, he had no idea who he was dealing with this time. He thought the Heaven Company would send one of the representatives to meet his side. In fact, the director of the company himself went straight to Abrine.

"Come, please sit."

Abrine and Anne both sat down. Followed by Theresia. He's the only bodyguard standing straight behind Theresia's chair.

The aura around their table felt different. Especially after Abrine realized that there were only them in the room. This is not a VIP room.

Has this place been rented entirely just for their meetings?

"All right, can we start the meeting?" Anne opened her voice. But Theresia raised her hand as a gesture for Anne not to continue the sentence.

"Sorry, Miss Anne. Can I speak to Mrs Gustav in one eye?" teresa asked Abrine's secretary.

Anne glanced at Abrine, who was staring at her.

Anne's gaze seemed to ask for Abrine's approval and Abrine nodded as a sign of his approval.

"I'll excuse you, Miss."

Anne passed. Before long the two bodyguards also gave Abrine and Theresia space, they moved to a position not too far away. Enough as a place not to hear the conversation of the two people.

"You must be confused and wondering about this situation." Now Theresia spoke relaxed and not as formal as before.

"Yes, have we known you before, ma'am?"

Theresia shook her head and thinned her lips.

"We have never met, so I want to meet you in person today."

"Yes?" Abrine was shocked by the old woman's statement.

"I've been wanting to meet you for a long time, Abrine. But unfortunately we haven't found the right time yet and it's only happening now."

"Actually who are you, ma'am?" ask Abrine not to mince words anymore.

"I'm Theresia Langford. Mother of Emily Langford. Have you ever heard that name?"
