The phone rang again, with a little lazy Anna approached the phone and picked it up.

"Who is this Hallo????" ask Anna.

But there was no answer, with annoyed Anna was about to hang up the phone. But the voice behind there made his eyes widen instantly.

"Hallo, Anna." replied someone back there.

DEG!!!

Instantly Anna felt her heart beating fast, This voice...

Anna opened her mouth to speak, but suddenly someone entered the house.

"Who's calling???" ask William directly.

Instantly Anna turned her body quickly and hung up the phone,

"Ti's... Don't know, it seems like a wrong connection" Anna said covering up her nervousness.

How could her father come back home?? Shouldn't he be in the office?? think Anna.

William was silent for a moment staring at his daughter and nodded slowly,

"There's a file left in the house, I'll take it" William said briefly, then stepped into his study.

Anna nodded and looked at William who had gone to his study. Anna touched her chest that was still pounding.

Did he not hear wrong?? thought worried. That sound.... It was like Alex's voice..

A glimmer of hope appeared in his heart. He's sure Alex is still alive. But where is that guy now?? Why didn't he come to see her?? thought sad.

Anna looked back at William who had just walked out of his study with a file. Then the man walked up to him.

"Later in the evening there will be a feast for the arrival of Daniel's parents in his house. You get ready, we'll be there later. The waiter will prepare clothes for you" William said.

Anna just listened to William. It turned out that Daniel's parents were already in Japan, he thought. There was a bit of unrest in his heart. Anna is afraid that Daniel will change his mind and still force their engagement.

But the man had promised her that they would return to be friends. Anna sighed slowly, believing Daniel would not betray his promise..

"Good" replied Anna.

William nodded slowly, too,

"All right, I'm going back to the office" he said and stepped back out of the house.

After Anna was convinced that her father's car was gone. The girl quickly picked up the phone and tried to dial the number. Unfortunately, the call is not connected now.

Anna hung up the phone too. Is he expecting too much?? thought Anna was sad.

Was the phone wrong, and the hallucination who thought that it was Alex???

Anna bit her lips and held back tears,

'Alex.... Where're you??' anna said in her heart.

Anna wishes Alex would come back soon and see her. He misses that guy a lot...

"Hallo.... Anna.." said Alex with sparkling eyes when he heard the voice of the girl who missed him so much.

TUT!! TUT!!!

Suddenly the call was interrupted,

Alex stared at the phone and tried to call him back. However, if he didn't hear wrong, he heard a man's voice before Anna hung up.

Was that William?? thought.

"Damn it!!!!" grouchy Alex is angry.

It seems true that it was William's voice that made Anna directly hang up the phone. Shit!!!! The old man came at an inopportune time.

"What's up???" asked Roy curiously.

"He hung up on her. I think William was there" Alex said upsetly.

Roy nodded and patted his friend on the shoulder,

"Patience, you can try to reach him in a few minutes" Roy said.

But suddenly Roy felt the phone in his pants pocket vibrate. The man quickly picked up and looked at Harry's name on the phone screen and picked him up.

"Hello Harry, ba.." said Roy disconnected as Alex quickly grabbed the phone in his hand.

"Have you finished taking care of all my files??? Why are you working so slow!!" alex was angry.

("Ma.... Sorry sir, the process can't be that fast. Ta's... But thank goodness everything is in order now") Harry said.

Alex breathed out violently, too,

"Fast pick me up and take me to the airport right now!!!" alex insists, then turn off the phone.

Roy was seen shaking his head at Alex's impatient behavior,

"You really have no patience" whispered Roy.

Alex also glanced at Roy with his sharp eyes and immediately made Roy misbehavior in his making,

"Baa.. All right, let me help you get ready before Harry gets to pick you up hehe" he said.

Anna looked at herself in the mirror. He's been helped by his servant to get ready for Daniel's house tonight. Actually he was very lazy to come there. But this afternoon Daniel's mother called him directly to invite him to the party tonight.

At first when the phone rings, Anna thinks that someone she thinks is Alex is calling her back. But unfortunately not..

Is that really just the wrong person?? thought Anna was sad.

The sound of knocking on the door rang out, a servant came in and bowed to Anna.

"Miss, Mr. Daniel is waiting for Miss below" the maid said.

Anna immediately scrunched her forehead hearing the servant's words. Daniel??? Why was that man picking her up, shouldn't he go with his father?? think Anna.

Anna breathed her breath lazily. This must be his father's plan. Why didn't the man give up as well, Anna thought annoyed.

"Alright, I'll go down" said Anna lazily.

He came out of his room and went down to meet Daniel.

Daniel looked up at the stairs and saw Anna coming down the stairs in awe. The girl was really beautiful and charming, Daniel thought. Which man would be willing to release a girl like this?? thought.

Although Daniel had promised Anna to take her as a friend again, he still hoped, who knows someday the girl's heart would melt and turn to him.

Besides, the man named Alex is gone, Daniel thought confidently.

"You're so pretty." praise Daniel honestly.

Anna just stared at the man for a glance,

"Thank you, let's go" Anna said briefly then stepped first.

Daniel looked at Anna's back and smiled. It seemed that the girl did not like his arrival. Daniel then followed Anna.

The man quickly opened the car door for Anna. After the girl entered, Daniel started driving his car and drove to his house.

After traveling for a few minutes they finally reached Daniel's house which was decorated so luxurious and festive for the party tonight.

Daniel opens the door for Anna and extends his hand to the girl. Anna looked at Daniel's hand doubtfully and then accepted his hand.

They began to go inside, people's gazes fixed on them. There were various whispers that Anna could hear from the people here. Some say they look very compatible, are they lovers?? and other.

Anna simply lowered her head in hopes that this party would end soon and she could return home quickly.

As they entered, Anna could see her father talking to Daniel's parents from a distance. Then suddenly the gaze of Daniel's mother led to them with a sparkle.

"Geez!! Finally my daughter has arrived" Daniel's mother approached Anna and hugged her tightly.

Anna returned her embrace and smiled. Daniel's mother let go of his embrace then looked at Anna's face in awe,

"I didn't think the quiet little Anna was now such a beautiful and charming girl.. It's worth Daniel being crazy about you." said Daniel's mother, glancing at his son.

"Mother!!!" daniel was a little embarrassed.

Anna simply returned the compliment with her smile,

"Thank you aunt, aunt also still looks beautiful as before" said Anna sincerely.

"You could have been. haha" said Daniel's mother pleased.

Daniel's father hugged Anna and rubbed her head,

"You've become a charming adult girl haha" Daniel's father joked.

"Thank you, Uncle" Anna replied.

"Then let's go in and start the party" Daniel's mother said as she led Anna in.

The party began, Daniel's mother and father were saying a few opening words to the guests. This party was held at once with their wedding day. Many business colleagues who attended from out of town and abroad also enlivened the party tonight.

Anna looked around. He looks very bored. Although he was in a crowd like this, but somehow his heart felt very quiet and empty.

Daniel, who had been watching Anna since then, began to approach the girl,

"Are you okay??" ask Daniel to worry.

Anna looked at the man then shook her head,

"I'm fine" Anna said briefly.

But quickly the man in front of her pulled Anna's waist and clenched her tightly.

The shocked Anna instantly tried to push the man's body away,

"Take me off!!!" anna shouted trying to let go of the man's hand on her waist without seeing his face.

But suddenly the man carried Anna's body into his arms and whispered in the girl's ears with a trembling body holding back the longing.

"I miss you.." whispered in.
