"Does Miss know.." she said disconnected.

"The woman named Erika was a widow." she whispered softly.

Anna immediately looked at Brenda while widening her eyes,

'What??? The widow??' thought surprised.

"Erika is a businessman as well as a model who is quite famous. She is very beautiful and much adored by men. Once upon a time, there was a young businessman named Leonard.. He's just like Mr. Alex, young, rich and handsome." said Brenda.

"One day they met and worked together. Then a few months later they were in a relationship and not long after that they got married.. Many say they married just for the benefit of each other. But eventually the rumors disappeared because they always looked harmonious and friendly. They are a very harmonious couple, handsome and also beautiful.. A few months after the marriage, Erika became pregnant. Well, when Erika's pregnancy was young, she accidentally saw her husband having an affair in one of the hotels with a woman. Rumors of her husband's affair had a scene in his time. Until one day Erika also had a miscarriage, and some time later, she and her husband divorced.." continued Brenda.

Anna looks quite surprised by Brenda's story about Erika. Erika is a beautiful and perfect woman in Anna's eyes. But why could she be betrayed by her husband like that?? he thought he didn't understand.

Brenda looked at Anna and sighed again,

"I don't think a woman as beautiful as Erika can be cheated on by her husband.. "For example, business partners here.. Look, most of them are married, but as long as Miss knows they often play with other women.. Some even remarried another woman without the knowledge of his first wife.. How horrible!!" miris.

"Well.. Again, that's how men are.. If they have a lot of money they will do whatever they like, including playing women" he continued.

The bathroom door opened and showed Erika coming inside.

Anna was speechless and smiled awkwardly at Erika, as was Madam Brenda. Erika gave Anna a brief smile and went inside one of the toilets.

Anna sighed and looked at Brenda,

"Then I went out first Madam" said Anna saying goodbye and then passed out of the bathroom.

Brenda nodded slowly then glanced softly and looked back at her face in the mirror,

"Basic naive!!" whispered slowly.

Anna went back to her desk and sat down next to her husband. Alex looked at Anna and smiled at her,

"It's over??" tanyanya gently.

Anna looked at Alex and nodded slowly. I don't know why Mrs Brenda's words came back to her mind.

Anna now becomes suspicious of Alex.

'What if it's actually behind him, Alex has a mistress??' thought.

The girl immediately shook her head strongly and tried to clear her mind. No!! That's not true!! thought.

Oh God.. Why is it that in her current pregnancy, she is always overthinking and sensitive?? thought.

Alex looked at his wife's face and touched her cheek gently,

"What's up, honey?? You okay??" tanyakanya.

Anna looked at Alex and nodded slowly,

"No.. I'm fine" she smiled awkwardly.

Alex breathed a sigh of relief and clasped Anna's hand tightly,

"We'll be home soon." he said softly.

Anna nodded slowly and returned Alex's hand while trying to wipe out any bad thoughts in her head on Alex.

I don't think time has gone on long enough. Finally lunch was over and they began to disperse,

"Thank you for Mr. Alex's deal." said his business partners.

Alex nodded slowly and walked towards his car while holding Anna's hand.

Brenda and Erika approach Alex and say goodbye to him,

"Thank you for Alex's lunch" Brenda smiled at Alex and Anna.

"Thank you for the treat Alex." said Erika softly.

Alex nodded at the two women. But at once Anna also failed to focus a little with Erika's call on her husband.

'Alex??' think Anna.

Why did Erika call her husband by name alone and seem informal, while the others called Alex with the call 'Master' Alex?? I think Anna is a little suspicious. Even Alex seemed to have no objection to the call..

Erika and Brenda say goodbye and walk away.

Alex opened the car door for his wife,

"Come on, baby." she said softly.

Anna was silent for a moment and got into the car without saying a word.

Alex enters and starts driving his car away from the restaurant to return home.

Seen during the trip, Anna chose silence and directed her gaze out the window. Alex noticed the expression on his wife's face, and the man grabbed Anna's hand with one of his and held her gently,

"Is the food good??" alex asks Anna to remove the silence between them.

Anna still set her eyes on the window and only cleared her throat to answer her husband's question.

Alex frowned and looked back at Anna with some worry,

"What's up, honey?? Does your stomach hurt??" alex asked as he gently touched his wife's stomach.

Anna brushed aside Alex's hand and shook her head slowly with a gaze that still led out the window,

"I'm fine" he said briefly.

Alex is increasingly confused by Anna's different behavior. The man looked at his wife's face, too,

"Is there something that's bothering you??" ask Alex again.

Anna sighed and shook her head slowly,

"There's no Alex!" the answer is a little bit sloppy.

Alex was instantly speechless, the man sighed and immediately put his car to the curb and stopped.

CIT!!

Alex's car stopped. The man removed his seat belt and looked at Anna gently,

"Now tell me, what's bothering you?? You can't lie to me, baby." she said.

Anna was still reluctant to look at Alex and did not answer her husband's questions.

What's the matter?? Why does it feel like she wants to cry?? thought Anna in her heart.
