This morning Alex went back to the office. There was a lot of work waiting for him. Although actually he does not want to go to the office because he wants to be with his girl at home, but Harry said today there were a lot of reports Alex had to sign and there were meetings he had to attend.

Alex sat in his chair and began struggling with the piled up files.

There was a knock on the door from outside,

"Get in" Alex said briefly without taking his eyes off the files in his hand.

Harry walked into Alex's room, bowed, and walked over to Alex's desk.

"Sir, here's a dinner invitation from Mr. Daniel McCartney. It says this dinner aims to strengthen cooperation between the two companies" Harry explained.

Alex was still focused on the file and not very interested in hearing Harry's words just now.

"Just put it there" Alex said briefly.

Harry nodded his head and kept the invitation on Alex's desk and walked away from the Master's room.

William sat down at his desk. His mind was still reminded of the incident when he met Alex in Paris. The man could attack his men alone and stubbornly the man did not want to turn his daughter back to him.

What should he do to bring Anna back??? william thought riled.

William woke up from his daydream when he heard a knock on the door from outside.

"Instant" he said briefly.

Then her bodyguards opened the door and bowed to her,

"Sir, Mr. Daniel wants to see you" the bodyguard said.

William paused for a moment, then exhaled slowly,

"Let him in!" abugn.

The guard bowed and went out, and Daniel soon entered William's room.

"Good morning Uncle" said Daniel and entered William's room.

"Morning" William said briefly.

William invited Daniel to sit in the chair in front of his desk.

They were silent for a while and did not say a word.

"I didn't manage to bring Anna" William said breaking the silence.

Daniel who already knew just silently responded to William's words. Actually she was very sad because she could not meet Anna. At the airport yesterday, he only caught a glimpse of Anna. That girl has grown into a very beautiful girl.

There was a longing that rose in Daniel's heart upon seeing the girl. Does that Anna still remember her or not?? thought Daniel.

But seeing Anna's guts while with the man. Anna is not at all uncomfortable and does not look like someone who is being swamped or kidnapped.

Are they close and have a relationship? daniel thought riled.

"Today I saw the man with Anna at the airport" Daniel said.

William immediately looked at Daniel, and saw a sad expression on his face.

"I feel like they both have a relationship. Not just a theatrical relationship" he continued.

William did not deny Daniel's words. He also thought it seemed like his daughter and the man did have a relationship. While in Paris were seen both walking hand in hand and from their gaze William was able to guess what the relationship between the two of them was like.

I don't know what the man named Alex did to his daughter. But William would never condone their relationship.

"Did you give up??" ask William sharply to Daniel.

Daniel was silent for a moment, then looked at William.

"I never gave up on how I felt about Anna!" daniel is serious.

William looked into the eyes of Daniel who was looking at him with an earnest gaze. This man's gaze was the same as Alex's as she was determined not to give Anna to him.

William sighed for a moment,

"I'll never let my daughter be with that Boston guy!!" william was firm.

Daniel was silent at William's words,

"How was your cooperation with the man's company??" ask William suddenly.

Daniel sighed and looked at William,

"Everything went well... Tonight I invited him to dinner together" Daniel said.

William set his eyes on Daniel,

"Can you lure him to take Anna there?" ask William quickly.

Daniel thought for a moment to hear William's question. He thought it might be a little difficult for him to lure the man to bring Anna to dinner later.

Then his mind went to Roy. Maybe the guy can be invited to work together. Roy is Alex's friend. Maybe he can try it.

"I'll try it!" answer Daniel.

"What did uncle plan to do after that??" ask Daniel in curiosity.

William just fell silent, then stood up from his seat,

"You'll see" he said, patting Daniel on the shoulder.

It was late in the afternoon, but Alex was still struggling with his files. His mind did not focus on those files because he had been thinking about Anna ever since. I think he wants to throw away all these files and go home to see the girl. He misses her so much...

Suddenly Alex felt his phone vibrate. Alex quickly picked up his phone and saw Roy's name on it. Alex breathed in with disappointment. He thought Anna had contacted him, but Alex had to swallow his disappointment.

With a lazy Alex also picked up a phone call from Roy.

"What's wrong??" ask Alex lazy.

("Why don't you sound excited every time I call you!!") grouse Roy.

"Just tell me what you want before I turn off the phone! I'm so busy!" said Alex.

("Huh... Alright... Alright... Were you invited by the McCartney boys for dinner today??") ask Roy.

Alex seemed uninterested in Roy's question just now,

"He gave me an invitation, but I won't come" Alex said coldly.

("Geez, how could Alex!! He has invested a lot in your company!! At least you should welcome his intention to take you to dinner!!") roy said he did not think.

Alex seems not so interested in Roy's talk. But that man has a point too. McCartney's company has invested heavily in his company. Alex seemed to think for a moment.

("He invited me to come. At least you'll come, even if only for a moment. You can also bring your girl if you want haha") he continued.

("Then I'll see you tonight! I'm busy, bye!!") said Roy who smiled happily at the end there because finally he could end the phone first before Alex did it as usual.

Alex just stared at her phone nonchalantly after her friend hung up.

Shit man!!! It seems like tonight he also had a hard time meeting Anna. Alex nodded his head..

It was getting dark, Anna was standing on the edge of the balcony staring at the scenery outside. She had not seen Alex since this morning. Anna knew maybe the guy was busy today. Honestly, he misses that guy a lot right now.

Anna exhaled slowly and closed her eyes to enjoy the night wind.

Suddenly a hand hugged his body from behind,

"Are you waiting for me??" said the man softly.

Instantly Anna opened her eyes and turned her face to the side and saw Alex's face that was very close to her. Alex smiled at Anna and kissed her cheek.

"I miss you" Alex whispered in Anna's ear.

Anna felt a sigh in her heart hearing Alex's words. Alex slowly turns over Anna's body to face her, then touches Anna's face gently.

"I miss you so much" Alex whispered, slowly drawing closer to Anna's face.

Alex pressed her lips gently against Anna's lips. She felt her feelings waver because of her longing for the girl. Alex feels he can go crazy if a day does not meet his lover.

Anna slowly kisses Alex. They mutually******* and eliminate longing for each other. Alex hugged Anna's body tightly and deepened her kiss.

After they kissed for a long time. Anna begins to feel out of breath, then slowly pushes Alex's body to stop their kiss.

Alex felt the breath of Anna hunting down his face. Then her hand gently rubbed Anna's lips that were still wet.

"Sorry, I miss you too much" Alex said slowly.

Anna looked at Alex and smiled,

"It looks like you're very busy today" Anna said softly.

Alex rubbed Anna's cheek and nodded her head,

"There's a lot of files I have to check and sign" Alex said.

"Have you had dinner??" ask Anna.

Alex shook his head, then looked at Anna guiltily.

"Tonight I'll have dinner with my business partner. He invited me to attend" Alex said a little annoyed.

Anna looked a little disappointed by Alex's words, but she forced her lips to smile.

"Oh, is that it?" anna said slowly.

Alex felt guilty staring at Anna's face which looked slightly disappointed.

"Sorry we can't have dinner together. The McCartney family-owned company has invested quite a lot in my company. I feel bad if I refuse the invitation" Alex said, rubbing Anna's cheek gently.

Anna looked at Alex's face. McCartney??? think Anna. He is no stranger to that name..
