Peter was leaning on his bed with a waiter who had just finished giving him medicine. The waiter looked at Anna and Alex and invited them to come closer.

Peter was still silent with his blank look. Alex approached him, too,

"Good morning" Alex said coldly.

Peter looked at Alex with a hard-to-understand look. Did his grandson just greet him?? peter doesn't believe it.

"Am I dreaming???" peter said while staring at Alex flatly.

"You just greeted me." he continued slowly.

Alex did not reveal Peter's words and was still staring flatly at the middle-aged man.

Peter's gaze also leads to Anna who is seen hiding behind Alex's back. The man was silent for a moment and looked at the girl with his sharp gaze.

Alex, who realized that, looked at Peter with a gaze that was no less sharp,

"He is my lover... The daughter of William Pratama" said Alex Sharp.

Peter looked at Alex's cold face. He looked at the grandson seriously, then sighed violently, saying,

"You're really stubborn!!!" satirical Peter sharp.

Alex seemed indifferent to Peter's words and still looked at his grandfather sharply,

"If you don't like it, then we'll get out of here!" alex said coldly.

Anna pulls Alex's hand to rebuke him and protests a bit with the man's remark to his impolite grandfather. But Alex ignored Anna's reprimand. Somehow staring at this old man in front of him made his anger always appear. The shadows of the past still haunt him even though Alex has tried to forget them.

Peter turned his face and sighed softly,

"Can I talk to you alone??" ask Peter suddenly.

Anna immediately sets her sights on Peter and attempts to remove his hand from Alex's grasp. He would let this granddaughter and grandfather speak in private.

But Alex refused to let go of his hand and still held it tightly.

"Alex.. release" whispered Anna.

Alex still did not want to let go of Anna's hand and his gaze was still staring at Peter sharply. Anna did not stay still and immediately bit the hand of Alex who held it tightly.

"Aarrghh" Alex said.

Their hands slipped and Anna quickly moved her body away from Alex,

"Ma... Sorry grandpa... You two talk... A... I'll wait outside" Anna said, bowing slightly to Peter and leaving.

Alex, who was still moaning, did not have time to hold Anna and forced herself to now have to be alone with her grandfather.

Alex let out a sigh of resignation and looked at Peter with a cold look,

"Just say what you want to say!!" alex said sharply.

Peter looked at his grandson and was silent for a moment,

"Why do you want to stay in this house and see me this morning???" tanyakanya.

"Even you greeted me.." continued Peter.

"What's.... That girl asked you???" ask Peter again.

Alex looked at Peter flatly,

"I think you already know the answer" Alex replied briefly.

Peter looked down and smiled faintly,

"Did he also instigate you to forgive William who killed your parents??" ask Peter sharply.

Alex clenched his hands and looked at Peter with a cynical look,

"You're wrong!!!!" sharpened says.

"I decided to forgive William... Anyways.... He didn't kill my mother" he continued, leading Peter to stare at her.

"Cih... So the guy said that to you???" tanyanya sharp.

"It turns out you're easy to cheat" he continued.

Alex smiled cynically and looked at Peter with a sneering smile,

"I know he didn't lie to me!! My mother and father's relationship was never harmonious!! There was never any love between them!!" alex said sharply.

"And you know, the most guilty of all this is you!!!" continued cynical.

"You're too selfish!! And you know, the one who's hurt by your attitude isn't just mom...

but also me!! my father!! william and his family!!!" his yell.

"Aren't you ever aware of that??? You are the source of suffering in my life!!! my mother's life!!!" sharpened says.

Peter felt his heart break and crumble at once hearing Alex's words. His granddaughter's gaze looked full of pain and also anger that churned into one.

Guilt also appeared in his heart...

"Maybe you're right." whispered Peter.

A single tear trickled down Peter's cheek, but he quickly wiped it off so that the grandson would not see his current frail self.

Then the middle-aged man raised his face and looked at Alex in silence,

"I am a stubborn person!! But, I did all of that for the good of this family!!" says firmly.

Alex looked at Peter in disbelief. Even at times like this, the old man can still defend himself, Alex thought furiously.

"All has passed... I don't want to spend the rest of my life feeling guilty" Peter said slowly.

Peter rested his body on the pillow and closed his eyes,

"Go away. I want to rest" he said.

Alex was silent for a moment and turned his body and stepped quickly towards the door.

But when Alex was about to open the door, Peter's words stopped his movement.

"Hurry to marry your lover...... I want to see you get married before I die" Peter said suddenly.

Alex turned his body and looked at Peter who had closed his eyes to rest. Then the man fell silent for a moment and walked out of the room.

While outside, Alex saw Anna leaning against the wall playing with her feet like a child. The girl was waiting for her...

With quick steps Alex approached Anna and immediately hugged her body tightly,

GREP!!!

A shocked Anna froze in Alex's arms. The man hugged his body tightly while closing his eyes.

The confused Anna raised her hand slowly to return Alex's embrace,

"What's up???" anna asked a little worried.

What exactly was Alex and his grandfather talking about?? think Anna.

In Anna's arms, a faint smile appeared on Alex's face. Unfortunately, the girl could not see it.

Somehow after hearing his grandfather's words earlier, Alex's heart began to feel light and relieved. Although he was a little doubt whether it was true that his grandfather spoke like that or just delirious. But Alex hopes he can really start forgiving his grandfather.

Little by little he will continue to try to forget his past. And try to start a new, better sheet going forward.

"Alex.." whispered Anna again.

Alex let go of his embrace and looked at Anna's face gently,

"Thank you.." whispered Alex sincerely.

The clueless Anna immediately frowned and looked at Alex confusedly,

"Thank you??? what's for???" anna asked confusedly.

Alex looked at Anna's face gently and shook her head slowly. Suddenly a grin appeared on his lips,

"Oh yeah, you bit me earlier, and you see, it left a mark" Alex said, turning the conversation over and showing her slightly flushed hands.

Anna looked at her bite and looked at Alex with her guilt,

"Ma... I'm sorry I had to" Anna said in self-defense.

Alex pretended to be moaning and in pain,

"Did it hurt???" ask Anna to worry.

Alex also put on his face and nodded slowly,

"You have to treat it" Alex said.

Anna touched Alex's hand and nodded slowly,

"Alright, I'll treat him. Let's treat it!!" anna wants to lead Alex away.

But suddenly Alex held him back, and,

"Not treat it that way" Alex said.

Anna frowned and looked at Alex confusedly,

"What do you mean????" ask Anna.

Alex brought his face closer to Anna's face and put his lips closer to the girl's ears,

"Take me the other way." whispered Alex who immediately made Anna's hair shudder.
