William was sitting quietly on the living room sofa chair while reading the book in his hand. His view seemed focused and concentrated with his reading. But at once his gaze turned to Daniel who had just come down from the top of the stairs.

William closed his book and looked at Daniel who was stepping towards him with a lethargic gaze,

"Is he okay??" ask William to Daniel.

Daniel looked at William and sat before the man, shaking his head.

"He looks very devastated" Daniel said sadly.

The man touched her forehead and lightly scolded her.

"I can't bear to see him like that Uncle" he continued.

William fell silent and opened his reading glasses.

"That's it, maybe it's best for him. After passing the next few days maybe his sadness will gradually disappear" William comforted.

Daniel took a breath and put down the gold badge that William had given him. William had told Daniel to show Anna the badge to convince her that it was Alex who had died in the accident last night.

William stared at Daniel's gaze which led to the badge in front of him. He could already guess what the man was going to ask.

"This badge.... Isn't this really a badge belonging to the Wijaya family?? Why would... Uncle has this badge???" tanyanya.

William sighed for a moment and picked up the badge,

"This is indeed a badge belonging to the Wijaya family.. How can I have it, I don't think you need to know" William said flatly.

Daniel fell silent and looked at William again. His curiosity couldn't be contained anymore, though,

"Was... Because of this badge, the man named Alex kidnapped Anna back then and searched for Uncle???" ask again.

William put the badge in his sleeping coat pocket.

"Take it that way" William said briefly.

Daniel took a breath and gave up. William doesn't seem to want him interfering with his affairs. Daniel kept silent and asked no more.

"O yes Uncle, about my engagement to Anna... I think we should rewind the schedule. We have to let Anna calm herself down first" Daniel said.

William paused for a moment and nodded in agreement,

"Yes, you're right. We're back in a few days" William said.

"What about your parents?? When will they arrive in Japan??" ask William.

"They will arrive tomorrow" Daniel replied.

William looked at Daniel,

"Good.." he said.

Daniel stared at the watch in his hand, the day already showing at 9:30 p.m. Looks like he should go home soon now and let Uncle William rest.

"Okay Uncle, it's late at night. I'd better go home now" Daniel got up from his seat.

William also got up from his seat and nodded at Daniel,

"Yes, rest. Maybe tomorrow you can again persuade and comfort Anna so as not to continue to be sad" William said.

"Good Uncle" Daniel replied.

They stepped towards the door and Daniel said goodbye to go home. After Daniel had completely left, William went back in and stared at the badge in his hand.

Now that Diana and Frans' sons are gone, then what should he do to this badge?? Did he have to return it to the Wijaya family?? thought.

No!!! He did not want to get involved with the family. His heart still hurts because of the treatment of Diana's father who always underestimated and demeaned him first. Until she could break up their relationship and marry Diana to another man. Maybe for a while he will return to keep this badge, he thought.

William then stepped back into his room. However, his steps suddenly came to a halt as his foot kicked something that was under the floor.

William looked at a book that was down there and picked it up. His eyes squinted sharply and looked back at the book which turned out to be a diary belonging to his late wife, Merry.

Who took this book?? thought suspicious.

He had previously contacted William for permission to see Anna. It just so happens that today William is on business and not at home.

Daniel went straight into the house, and was greeted by a servant who opened the door for him.

"How's Miss doing??" ask Daniel to the waiter.

The servant bowed to Daniel,

"Miss since yesterday has not come out of her room. And Miss hasn't eaten anything since yesterday. I tried knocking on the door, but Miss didn't open the door" the waiter said worriedly.

Daniel sighed and nodded in understanding. The girl must have been really hit hard, he thought concernedly.

"Alright, I'll try to persuade him" Daniel said.

Then he walked up the stairs to Anna's room. Daniel stared at Anna's tightly shut bedroom door and took a deep breath. Hopefully he can succeed in persuading Anna to get out of her room.

Geck.. Geck..

"Anna's... Are you awake??? It's me Daniel" said Daniel softly.

There was no sound from inside and the door was not open. Daniel tried to knock back on the door a little harder.

Geck... Geck...

"Anna.. Please open the door.. I brought you your favorite food. Let's have breakfast together" said Daniel.

But nil, again there was no response and no sound was heard from inside. Anxiety immediately arose in Daniel's heart. She was afraid that Anna would do something reckless and dangerous. Or the girl is fainting in there.

Daniel quickly tried to break down the door in front of him.

BRAK!!!

"Anna!!!! Are you all right??? Can you hear????" shouted Daniel anxiously.

Daniel pushed the door back strongly and..

Anxiously Daniel directed his gaze towards the bed. But, Anna was not there. Then the man walked into the bathroom and opened the door. But no, Anna was not in the bathroom either.

Daniel's gaze turned to every corner of the room anxiously, trying to find Anna's whereabouts. But unfortunately, he did not find the girl anywhere.

His eyes turned toward the open window. Daniel's eyes widened thinking of the worst possibility.

No!!! There was no way Anna would dare to run away from this house!!!! thought Daniel.

Daniel ran to the window and saw a rope tied to the balcony railing that hung down there.

"No!!!! Anna!!!" daniel panicked.

Daniel immediately pulled out the phone in his pocket to contact William.

Tut's.... Tut's....

Daniel turns off his phone rudely because William didn't answer his call. Shit man!!! He must find Anna right now!!!

Daniel ran downstairs and started his car quickly. He must find Anna.

He had not expected that Anna would do this reckless thing. She was afraid Anna would get lost. Daniel doesn't want anything bad to happen to Anna. He had to find the girl soon after.

'Anna..... Where are you?????' daniel said with worry in his heart.
