Anna looked at the confused woman in front of her. Why does this woman think she is a paid woman? Does she look like a cheap woman you can buy?

Anna stared dislikefully at the woman..

"Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying?" anna asked trying to contain her frustration.

The woman belittled Anna's words,

"No need to pretend to be stupid. I know what Alex is like.. There's no way she has a real lover" the woman said cynically.

The woman approached Anna and whispered in her ear,

"I warn you!! Don't be so proud" she whispered.

Anna was silent in response to the woman's words,

'What's wrong with this woman? Is he jealous?' anna said in her heart.

Suddenly Anna sees Alex coming from behind the woman and approaches them.

"What's this?" alex said coldly.

The woman looked surprised and turned her body towards Alex,

"Ah.. I.. That's.. There was nothing, I just wanted to say hello and get acquainted with her" the woman replied nervously.

"Oh yeah.. Introduce my name Gracia Welles Wong" he said with a forced smile.

"Anna Elizabeth Pratama" Anna said briefly.

"Oh yes Alex.. I thought you wouldn't be at the show tonight" Gracia smiled as she looked at Alex.

"Why indeed? I come or not it's none of your business" Alex replied indifferently without staring at Gracia.

Gracia simply smiled in response to Alex's sniffy answer, Damn it.. She was so indifferent to me' Gracia grumbled inwardly.

Then Alex passes Gracia and approaches Anna.

Then extend his hand..

"Will you dance with me?" alex told Anna.

Gracia widened her eyes hearing Alex's words. So did Anna, she looked at Alex suspiciously.

Alex smiled at Anna..

Anna meant that smile was the same as a command to follow.

Reluctantly Anna welcomes Alex's hand and walks together into the middle of a room filled with dancing couples.

"Damn it!! Did he smile at the girl?" upset Gracia did not accept, then went reluctant to see the couple.

Alex clasped Anna's waist with one hand, and the other clasped Anna's hand ready for the dance. Anna's hand stiffly touched Alex's chest.

Alex guides Anna's body to follow her movements..

"What if your father sees us. And thinks his daughter is the lover of his great enemy? Isn't that very interesting?" alex whispered with his sneaky grin.

Anna widened her eyes to hear Alex's words. So that's the plan? think Anna.

Anna smiled disdainfully, then raised her hand to embrace Alex's neck and put her lips closer to Alex's ear.

"It won't work for him.. He won't care about this" Anna said.

Anna was sure her father wouldn't care about her..

She leaves Anna to save herself. Not even looking for it until now. So Anna thinks Alex's plan will go to waste.

Alex grinned at Anna's words,

"really? Do you think your father hasn't been looking for you all this time?" said Alex.

Anna was silent at Alex's words. 'What does this man mean?' thought.

"You know.. Several times your father's men tried to get into the gate near the forest. But unfortunately, your father's men never made it in and ended up dead at the hands of my people" Alex said with a dismissive grin.

Anna widened her eyes. So... all this time her father was looking for her and trying to save her??

Anna pulled her face and looked at Alex, who was,

"You lied!!" anna looked at Alex sharply.

"I don't care if you believe it or not" Alex replied indifferently.

Anna tries to pull her body from Alex's arms,

"Take me off!!!" shouted Anna.

Because of his screams, people were staring at Alex and Anna with confused gazes.

Alex stared intently at Anna and tightened his embrace.

"Don't try to fight me!" alex whispers.

Alex kissed Anna on the lips in front of many people who were looking at them.

People who saw them were shocked and applauded, thinking it was a very romantic scene that Alexander Wijaya had done to his lover.

They did not expect it turned out that Alex had been cold and never seen dating anyone, had a lover who loved him very much. He even kissed her in front of everyone..

Anna simply silently responded to Mr. Holland's remark and cast her gaze in another direction.

Alex just smiled faintly in response,

"Oh yes, by the way there is something I want to talk to you about our cooperation" said Mr. Holland.

"Alright let's talk about it" Alex said.

"Miss, I'll borrow your girlfriend for a second.. Take it easy won't be long." said Mr. Holland while flashing teasing Anna.

Anna simply smiled forcefully in response to Mr. Holland's remark.

'Just take the man as far as possible, if necessary take him to hell!!' anna's grumbling in heart.

After Alex and Mr. Holland left, Anna stepped onto the balcony.

Anna approached the table at the side of the room filled with food and drink. He needs a drink at the moment..

Anna took a glass filled with clear water and drank it one gulp..

Anna scrunched her forehead, the taste of this water felt strange and had a pungent smell.. What is this drink? think Anna.

Suddenly his head was dizzy..

Anna held the table to hold her body from falling. What's wrong with her?? What did he drink??
