William moved his feet with a huff to the left and to the right. He has not heard anything about his daughter's whereabouts. William was worried that something bad was happening to him. Did the man find his daughter first?? thought riled.

No!! That can't happen!! If his daughter was already in the man's hands, then it was a little difficult for William to bring her back.

There was a knock on the door that stopped William.

"Get in!!" he said impatiently.

A bodyguard entered his room, then bowed respectfully. His face looked down in fear of facing William.

"Tu.. Sir, forgive us. We haven't been able to find Miss Anna's whereabouts" he said.

William stared intently at his guard.

"Are you just not able to complete this kind of work??? It's only fitting that you all never made it into that man named Alex's house!!!!!" william was angry.

The guard lowered his face again,

"Ma.. I'm sorry sir, but according to the information I got it looks like Miss Anna is still in the area of the man's residence!" said the guard was scared.

William kicked down his desk strong. Shit man!!! It turned out that his daughter was still in the hands of that man!!! William has to figure out a way to bring Anna back.

The sound of the door knocking again. One of the other guards came inside and saluted William.

"Sir, there was a guest who came to see Mr. William" he said.

William scrunched his forehead, who came these nights to meet him?? william thought curious.

William finally walked out to see who had been bothering him these nights.

After arriving at the bottom floor, William saw a man who was looking around his house while walking casually. Who is this guy??? thought William.

"Who are you!!!" william was a little upset.

The man turned his back and smiled at William.

"Hello uncle! It has been a long time since we met!" senggakan.

William squinted his eyes, uncle??? who is this guy really?? william thought curious.

The man approached William,

"This is my uncle, Daniel McCartney, son of Austin McCartney! Uncle's friend first!!" he smiled.

William seemed to think hard remembering the name that was not foreign to him. Austin???

William widened his eyes when he had already managed to remember that person. Austin!!!

He was William's best friend when he was living in an orphanage. They lived in the same orphanage, grew up together and they also fought together to achieve the ideals of being a successful person.

"Oh!! You're the son of Austin and Bella?? That little cunning Daniel!!" william was surprised.

Daniel who was initially smiling suddenly pouted hearing the word 'cheng' coming out of William's mouth.

"Haha!! I didn't think you'd be a handsome grown man!!" william hugged Daniel.

Daniel returned William's embrace and smiled happily.

"How's uncle doing??" ask Daniel.

"I'm fine, you don't see!! I'm still very healthy and energetic!!" william smiled.

Daniel smiled back at William,

"Thank God! Oh yes uncle, I also feel sorry for the passing of my aunt a few years ago" Daniel said sadly.

William lowered his face for a moment, then smiled back at Daniel.

"Thank you" William said slowly.

"They're fine! There's some work there that Dad has to take care of, so he didn't come with me here. They left greetings for uncle and also some souvenirs" replied Daniel.

Suddenly Daniel scratched his neck a little nervously staring at William.

"Emmm... Oh yeah, where's Anna?" daniel was a little embarrassed.

William, who was smiling, suddenly fell silent at Daniel's question.

Daniel noticed William's sudden change in expression.

"What's the matter uncle? Uncle's okay?" daniel said worriedly.

William smiled at Daniel,

"I'm fine" he said.

"On Anna... He's not here" he continued.

Daniel frowned, not understanding,

"Not here? Where is Anna now?" ask Daniel in curiosity.

William was silent for a moment thinking of something. Did he have to tell this guy what really happened? Who knows if this guy can help her bring Anna back..

"There's something I want to tell you! Sit down!!" william.

After hearing the story from William about what really happened. Daniel immediately gritted his teeth in disbelief. His emotions run high hearing the woman he loves is in the hands of a ruthless man who holds her hostage just to avenge her.

Daniel clenched his hand tightly. She imagined what a terrible thing the cruel man had done to her Anna. No!! He had to free Anna from there!!

William put down a magazine showing pictures of Alex and Anna at the party. Some photos even photos when they were kissing plastered there.

Daniel clenched his hand. His emotions really couldn't hold him anymore. This bastard!!! He must have played Anna and used her. Shit man!!! He should immediately give her the calculations.

"The man's name is Alex! He is a descendant of the Vijaya family. One of the most influential young entrepreneurs in the country! It's not easy to beat him" William told Daniel.

Daniel smiled cynically, though,

"I don't care about any of that!! I would do anything to bring Anna back!!" daniel is sure.

William stared intently at Daniel's gaze. This man seemed to really have genuine feelings for his daughter.

When Daniel was a child he visited his home several times with Austin and his wife.

At that time the jolly little Daniel always approached the quiet Anna and looked indifferent to her.

Just then little Daniel fell down and made his leg hurt quite badly, he cried constantly until his master's people gave up on calming him down. Anna, troubled by Daniel's whining, finally approached him and scolded him. Instantly Daniel was speechless looking at Anna who suddenly became chatty. Somehow seeing Anna like that made her fascinated with Anna's beauty.

It was then that little Daniel began to like Anna and always forced his father to pay a visit to William's house only to meet Anna.

Anna, who was getting used to the presence of Daniel, did not act cold anymore and began to open up to Daniel.

Until one day Daniel had to move with his two masters abroad. He was very sad and devastated to have to part with Anna as well as Anna who was very sad because she had to lose her only friend.

Little Daniel, giving Anna a bracelet for a memento, hugged her and said,

"Wait me! I will definitely marry you after I return!! little Daniel said.

William and Austin laughed at the words of a young Daniel. But then little Daniel approached William and said,

"Uncle!!! don't let any man get close to Anna. The only one who can be your husband and daughter-in-law is me!! Promise" said Daniel seriously while giving his little finger to William.

William smiled at the words of Daniel and welcomed Daniel's little finger.

"All right, uncle promise!" william.

It turned out that this man's speech was not just a joke or empty talk of a child. But this man was really serious about his words.

And William must keep his promise to this man!!
