The day already showed at 11:30 p.m. Anna looks agitated on her bed. He could not sleep even after taking his medication.

His brain was still thinking about who the woman who was next to his father was in the photo he found earlier. Anna wakes up from her sleep and takes a photo of her that she was carrying secretly from Alex's room.

The guard bowed to Anna.

"Miss, Mr. Alex is waiting for Miss upstairs" he said.

Anna looked at the guard a little hesitantly. Why was he waiting for her upstairs? thought.

"I'll take Miss there" he continued.

With hesitation, Anna finally followed the guard.

The guard took Anna to the elevator and pressed the number 4 button to get to the top floor.

When we arrived, the elevator door opened.

"Miss, I just drove Miss up here, please Miss get into the balcony door at the end there" said the guard leaving Anna alone.

Anna looked around, it looked a little dark because there were only a few small lights illuminating.

Slowly Anna set her foot towards the balcony door..

Anna opened the door a little hesitating. What did that guy tell her to come here for? think Anna.

Anna opened the door slowly. When the door opened Anna saw many small candles lined up into a path for her. The balcony on this floor is quite large. Anna followed the direction of the candle that led to the end of the balcony.

When Anna reached the end of the balcony, the lights suddenly lit up. Anna squinted her eyes due to the glare.

When her view was clear, Anna saw a large cake that read 'Happy Birthday Anna Elizabeth Pratama'

Anna closed her mouth in shock at the sight..

"Happy birthday" said someone suddenly from behind him.

Anna turned her back to see Alex standing there with a smile on his face. The man looked handsome with a black shirt and his hair styled a little messy but was a perfect fit for him.

Alex approached Anna who was still confused by what he saw.

"I'm sorry, did I disturb your sleep?" alex said, looking at Anna softly.

Anna looked down her face and then shook her head. Anna held back the tears that came out of her eyes. He didn't realize that today was his birthday.

Anna really hates her birthday. Memories of when he was a child crossed his mind.

It was his birthday, his servants and nanny prepared a small feast for him and said his mother and father would arrive and celebrate with him. However, it had been a long time since he had waited, his master's person had never appeared.

When Anna was tired of waiting she suddenly heard the sound of a car from outside. Are his parents back? he thought a little pleased.

But alas, when entering the house the two masters instead clashed with each other and shouted at each other.

When they saw Anna waiting in front of her birthday cake, they just gave her a quick glance and left indifferently and continued to fight.

Anna hated her birthday. His parents did not care about him at all. Same with birthdays in the following years. It remained the same, and perhaps even his two masters did not remember at all his birthday date.

Alex looked at Anna who was bowing her face. Alex raised Anna's face slowly.

"What's wrong? What don't you like?" ask Alex carefully.

Anna wiped her tears quickly,

"It's okay... Thank you" Anna replied smiling faintly.

Alex looked at Anna with a guilty feeling,

"I'm sorry" Alex said slowly.

Anna smiled at Alex, looking at him,

"I'm doing fine. Just remembering the past" Anna said.

"I totally understand what you're feeling." she said.

"Why are you doing this?" anna looked at Alex.

Alex looks a little nervous and embarrassed,

"I just... Want to make you happy on your birthday. Youknew.. I don't know why all day I've been worrying about you" Alex said staring at Anna inside.

Anna turned her face away upon hearing Alex's words. I don't know why his cheeks suddenly blushed.

Alex held back his smile looking at Anna who looked nervously at her words.

Alex touches Anna's cheek and directs her to look at each other.

DEG!!

Suddenly Alex felt his heart pounding. Why is it that every time she is with this woman, her heart is pounding? ask in the heart.

"You know?? My whole life I've never felt anything like this. My heart always beats when it's near you. Just by looking at you, all my fatigue and fatigue disappeared instantly." Alex said inside, then directed Anna's hand to touch her chest.

Anna looked at Alex and felt Alex's rapid heartbeat.

"I don't know what this feeling is.. Obviously, I just want to always be by your side" Alex said, looking at Anna seriously.

Anna looked at Alex with doubt. Is this guy expressing his feelings? thought.

"May I ask you one thing?" ask Anna suddenly.

Alex looked at Anna for a moment and nodded his head. Anna took out the photo she had brought from Alex's room this afternoon and showed it to Alex.

Alex's gaze turned sharp as he looked at the photo in Anna's hand.

"Where did you take that photo!!" said Alex held back his emotions that suddenly appeared.

Anna stared fearfully at Alex's change of face,

"I'm sorry, a. I took it from your room. I just want to know what the hell is going on between you and my dad! I feel like I need to know about it!" anna was a little scared.

Alex snatches the photo quite strongly from Anna's hand,

"You know?? You've ruined my mood!!" alex said turning his body around with anger.

"Can't you explain a little to me??? I know that man is my father! Then who's that woman??" anna pleaded.

"Is she your mother?" continued Anna.

Alex turned his body and looked at Anna sharply,

"Yes!! She is my mother!!" furious Alex.

"Your father killed my parents before my eyes!!!" alex was angry.

Anna widened her eyes in shock at Alex's words. To kill??

"Gurgh!!" suddenly shouted Alex.

Alex touches his aching head due to his sudden outburst of emotions.

Anna quickly approached Alex and held her body.

"You okay??" asked Anna worriedly.

Alex throws Anna's hand on her body.

"Sorry.. I need some time alone" Alex said, walking away holding her head, leaving Anna alone.

Anna looked at Alex with a guilty feeling. He shouldn't have ruined the mood at a time like this. Anna held back her tears, she felt guilty towards the man.

The man must have recalled his dark past.

'I'm sorry.' Anna said in her heart.

Anna went back down to the 2nd floor and walked towards her room sadly.

Someone followed him from behind, looking at Anna who was downcast as she continued walking.

Quickly the man took out a handkerchief inside his pocket.

Then she walked up to Anna, and quickly smothered her mouth with the handkerchief.

"Hmmmmm!!!!" shouted Anna stifled.

A shocked Anna tried to escape from the man's embrace.

But alas, his consciousness slowly disappeared..

And Anna fell unconscious...
