The Unexpected Word

The day showed at 5pm. Anna's helping Donna cook for dinner.

After her conversation with Peter this afternoon, Anna did not look back at the man coming out of her room. I don't know what he was thinking, but after Anna spoke to him in the park, the man looked down and told the bodyguards to take him back to his room.

Hopefully, his words did not hurt Peter, Anna hoped in her heart.

"Well, it's done!!!" said Donna who woke Anna from her daydream.

"Let's put it on the table" he continued.

Anna nodded and brought some of the food to the table. They start putting together the food for dinner later.

"Well, it smells really good" said Jonas who suddenly appeared at the dinner table.

Donna looked at Jonas and smiled happily,

"Darling, are you home??" she approached her husband and kissed his lips quickly.

Anna turned her face away and went back to composing the food on the table.

"Where's Alex?? Has he not come home yet??" ask Jonas.

Anna looked at Jonas and was about to answer the man's question. A voice stopped him, however,

"I'm here" Alex said flatly as he stepped closer to Anna.

The man quickly approached Anna and kissed her cheek.

"I'm home" Alex said gently.

Anna, who was a little surprised by Alex's actions, looked annoyed at the man. His face turned red when he realized that Jonas and Donna were watching them with amused smiles.

"Polar man!! It turns out you can be romantic too" said Donna meledek.

Alex, hearing that, just glanced at Donna and tightly embraced Anna's waist.

"That's it... Don't bother them. I'm going to go to the room first to clean myself" said Jonas then passed to his room.

Anna looked at Alex, who was also staring at her intensely,

"You should also clean yourself before dinner" Anna said slowly.

Alex also smiled and pulled the girl's waist to be more attached to her body,

"My company" whispered Alex in Anna's ear with a grin.

Anna widens her eyes and hits Alex on the shoulder,

"You are!!! Stop playing around" Anna said annoyedly.

Alex smiled and kissed the girl again,

"All right, I'll go upstairs first" Alex said, then walked into his room.

Donna held back her smile and stared at Alex's departure with a soft shake,

"Ckk... I don't think once you're married, Alex will let you out of the room for a second. You... You know what I mean, right???" donna said with a teasing smile.

Anna, who heard this, looked at Donna with a red face. What the fuck... This aunt and niece were both delighted to tease him, Anna thought.

The day was getting dark. People started to gather at the dinner table for dinner together.

Key was also at the dinner table with his face slightly pale. Actually the girl was very lazy to have dinner together, moreover she had to meet and meet face to face with Alex. He was very scared and ashamed of what happened that night.

"Well, let's have dinner together" Donna said as she pushed Peter's wheelchair towards the dining table.

Donna and Jonas prepare a meal for Peter on the table. After that, they sat in their seats.

"I'm very happy, we can get together and have dinner together tonight in good health" Donna said.

After praying together, they began to eat their food. The atmosphere looks quite awkward, only the sound of a spoon colliding with the plate only.

Peter cleared his throat for a moment and set his eyes on Jonas,

"What about the company??" ask Peter suddenly.

Jonas swallowed his food and looked at Peter quickly,

"Good... Everything is fine Dad" Jonas said.

Peter nodded and refocused on his food,

"What about your company???" ask Peter to Alex.

Alex seems to be focusing on his food and not ignoring Peter's questions. Anna who noticed it immediately touched Alex's thigh to reprimand him.

Alex looked at Anna who gestured to him. And lazily the man looked at Peter then nodded slowly,

"Well, very good" Alex said coldly.

Peter looked at Alex in silence and nodded slowly.

"Oh... How's William doing?? I heard he now lives in Japan" Peter suddenly told Anna.

Anna who was surprised by Peter's question immediately coughed softly and hesitantly looked at Peter. Same with the others. They were slightly surprised by Peter's unexpected question.

"I... Yes, my father is now settled in Japan" Anna replied awkwardly.

Alex squinted his eyes and looked at Peter intently. Why did the old man ask Anna?? What plan?? alex thought he was suspicious.

Peter who heard Anna's reply nodded back and focused his gaze on Anna,

"about... When will your father return to this country??? I wanted to invite him to eat together in this house" Peter said.

Everyone looked back and stared at Peter in disbelief.

"Dad.... Is dad serious????" donna asked in disbelief.

Likewise with Anna, he looked at Peter with an incredulous look. What's the matter??? I think Anna is a little worried.

At once Alex kept his spoon on the table violently, and looked at Peter with a sharp look.

"What do you want????" ask Alex sharply.

Peter sighed and kept his spoon slowly on the table. He raised his hand on the table and looked at Alex with a grin.

"Why do you look so surprised and dislike???" ask Peter cynically.

Alex did not answer the old man's question and still looked at him sharply.

Peter took a rag and cleaned his mouth, giving the bodyguard a code to take him away from the dinner table.

"I'm done" said Peter.

A bodyguard approached him and pushed his wheelchair away. But Peter told his bodyguard to stop for a moment and turn his face to Alex.

"Didn't you want to propose to your girlfriend??? So, I invited William here to set the date" said Peter, who made everyone back in disbelief.
