The Dinner With Daniel

After a few minutes of travel. Finally, Daniel's car arrived at one of the luxury restaurants in Japan. Daniel has booked a VIP room upstairs.

Daniel got out of his car and walked to open the door for Anna. His hand was stretched out to Anna. And doubtfully Anna welcomed the man's hand.

They also walked into the restaurant. One of the servants led Daniel and Anna upstairs to the VIP room that Daniel had ordered.

When the servant opened the door and invited them in. After entering Anna set her gaze around. In this room there is only one dining table that is quite large for them. In the corner of the room there is a large glass that leads to the view of the sea and rows of cherry blossoms. From the VIP floor located on this top floor, making the scenery outside look very beautiful and romantic.

In addition to the ceiling of this room lined with lights that are formed beautifully and dazzling. Romantic melodies also sounded beautifully filled this room.

But, somehow Anna just stared flat at the sight of it all. He was not at all fascinated by the beauty of this place.

Daniel pulled out one of the chairs and invited Anna to sit down. Anna looked at Daniel hesitantly and sat down in her chair.

After Daniel sat down, a servant came back in and kept a bottle of wine in the middle of the table and 2 glasses there.

"Thank you" Daniel told the waiter.

Daniel looked at Anna and smiled softly.

"Do you like this place??" ask Daniel to Anna.

Anna was silent for a moment and smiled faintly at Daniel.

"Yes" replied Anna briefly.

Daniel took a bottle of wine and poured it into a glass for himself and Anna.

"Try, this is premium local wine. They make it only at special occasions and the making is a little complicated. The taste is also slightly different and distinctive from other wines. Therefore the price of this wine can be said to be quite high" explained Daniel and then gave one glass to Anna.

"I can't drink wine" Anna said softly.

Daniel smiled at Anna's words,

"Just relax, the alcohol content in this wine is very low. If you drink a little it will not make you drunk" Daniel said.

Doubtfully Anna took the glass and smelled it. This wine is really fragrant and seductive. Slowly Anna tried to swallow it.

After Anna drank the small amount of wine, her eyes widened in disbelief. The wine is really fresh. The alcohol content in this wine is very low.

Daniel noticed Anna and smiled happily at the reaction of the girl who was enjoying the wine.

"How's?? You likey??" ask Daniel.

Anna nodded her head and gulped down the wine again.

"Enak" said Anna pleased.

Daniel smiled again to see Anna's reaction was very cute in his opinion.

"Well, what do you want to eat??" daniel asked as he opened the menu book in front of him.

Anna stared at the menu book in front of her with no taste. His heart is feeling troubled now. Does he have to pretend to be sick now in order to get out of here?? thought confused. But Anna doesn't know where Alex is waiting for her right now.

"It's up to you" said Anna briefly.

Daniel nodded his head and raised his hand to call the servant.

A servant came and came to their table,

"I want this message, this one and this one. And also give the best other menu from this restaurant" Daniel told the waiter.

The servant nodded in understanding and went out to prepare Daniel's order.

Anna looked a little restless in her chair. His eyes are pointing in every direction. Where's Alex?? think Anna.

Daniel who saw Anna's behavior slightly scrunched his forehead was confused.

"You okay??" daniel asked a little worried.

"A.. I'm fine" Anna smiled faintly.

Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and looked back at Anna.

"I thought you were going to reject my dinner today" Daniel said suddenly.

Anna looked at Daniel for a moment and lowered her gaze.

"I just feel bad if I refuse my childhood friend's invitation" Anna said slowly.

Instantly Daniel was silent and felt his chest tight when he heard Anna's words earlier. Childhood friend?? thought Daniel.

So Anna came because she felt bad for her little friend. Daniel thinks that Anna has tried to open her heart to him. But it turns out that it was all just his hope.

"Ekhem... So it's like that." whispered Daniel softly, trying to endure the pain in his chest.

Anna looked at Daniel with her guilt. He shouldn't have said that. However, Anna only wanted Daniel to understand that he could not open his heart at all for her. Forever Anna would only regard Daniel as her friend, nothing more.

"Can't you just give me a chance and try to open your heart to me??" daniel looked at Anna expectantly.

Anna was worried and could not bear to see the sad look of Daniel. He really could not open his heart to the man. As hard as Daniel tries Anna will never be able to love him as a man.

Anna opened her mouth to answer Daniel's question. At once the door of the room opened and a servant came in carrying Daniel's food.

The servant approached Daniel and kept some food near Daniel. Then he turned to Anna while putting some food also near Anna.

Anna watched the man's servant wearing a mask and placed some food in front of her. Wait, Anna felt familiar with the posture of this servant. To a man's size a servant's body looks a bit stocky and masculine.

Instantly the servant looked at Anna and blinked one eye. Then whispered softly to Anna.

"You're so pretty." she whispered.

Anna widened her eyes when she heard that voice. Alex??? anna was surprised. How could he pretend to be a servant??

Alex turned his back on Daniel and looked at the man with a murderous look. Damn it!!! Her extremely beautiful lover tonight must be together with this jerk in front of her. If it wasn't for his plan Alex wouldn't have possibly let this happen.

Alex bowed to Daniel and stepped out. Before it actually came out Alex looked at Anna meaningfully.

Anna who understood Alex's gaze also covered her shock and pretended to look calm again. He didn't want Daniel to suspect anything.

But, didn't Alex tell him to pretend to be sick, and then Alex would pick him up and pretend to be his father's driver?? But why is she now a servant?? Has the plan changed?? anna thought confused.

"Eat, this is the best meal in the restaurant. I hope you'll like it" Daniel said, trying to smile back.

Anna was silent for a moment and started to eat. They ate in silence, for some reason the atmosphere became awkward now.

PRANGS!!!

The sound of a spoon falling on the plate made Anna startled instantly. His gaze immediately fell on Daniel who was touching his head.

"What's wrong?? You okay???" ask Anna to worry.

Daniel closes his eyes tightly and tries to focus his gaze on the worried Anna. What's wrong with her??? Why do his eyes feel so heavy now?? Daniel was feeling an incredible sleepiness at this moment.

"A.. I don't know... I felt.." Before Daniel could finish his words, his head suddenly fell on the table and began to fall unconscious.

Anna panicked and stood up and approached Daniel,

"Daniel why are you????" anna said worriedly.
