"Ma.. I'm sorry sir, but it was Aunt Van who allowed her to enter. Just now the guy came in, because he's raining out here" he said fearfully.

Alex squinted his eyes, Aunt Van??

If Aunt Van lets someone else in, it's a sign that the guest is not a stranger, Alex thought.

Alex took Anna into the house, and they both stepped into the living room. Anna looked at Alex who was seen rushing into the living room with a slightly irritated look mixed in curiosity.

"Erika??" alex said slowly.

Erika was seen smiling with relief staring at the couple. Erika's body looks wet, the woman only wears a towel to cover her wet clothes.

The woman looked down and started crying. Anna was surprised to see Erika's situation and immediately approached the woman,

"Why are you crying?? What's going on??" ask Anna to worry.

Erika closed her mouth and was still sobbing. Anna brought Erika's body back to sit on the sofa and embrace the woman's body,

"Please yourself first." said Anna slowly.

Erika tried to calm down and stop her crying. As for Alex, the man just kept silent while staring at Erika.

After a while, Erika calmed down and stopped crying. The woman wiped away her tears and sighed softly,

"Sorry.." she said slowly.

"What's going on??" ask Alex suddenly.

Erika raised her face briefly to look at Alex. The woman looked down again while playing her finger nervously,

"Leonards... Leonard has won a lawsuit against our property" he said, holding back tears.

Anna instantly widened her eyes in surprise,

"He.. He's taken everything.. And.. And drove me out of the house" whispered Erika while holding back her tears.

"I'm hicks.. I don't know where to live now.. I don't have anything now" he continued.

Anna stared in concern at Erika and tried to calm the woman down,

"How can it??" ask Alex to doubt.

Erika just shook her head answering Alex's question,

"I don't know." she whispered.

Alex immediately took his phone away from the living room to contact someone,

"Hallo Mr George, explain to me what happened??" tanyanya sharp.

I heard the sound of breathing from back there. Alex can feel Mr. George's nervousness at the moment,

("Ma.. Sorry Mister.. We're... We're outmatched by Leonard... Se.. Once again forgive me.. I've been trying my best..") she said nervously.

Alex squinted his eyes, the man instantly felt suspicious. During this time, Mr. George was very firm, hard and had a high stance. However, only this time did he hear the desperate remarks of the man, however,

"I don't have anyone else in the world.. You and Alex are the only ones I trust right now." he continued.

Anna looked pityfully at the woman and again calmed her down, she said,

"It's okay.. Tonight you can sleep here" Anna smiled softly.

At once Erika set her eyes on Anna,

"What.. Is it okay??" tanyanya doubt.

Anna smiled and nodded slowly,

"It's okay, there are still many empty rooms" continued Anna.

Alex walked back into the living room. Anna immediately stood up from her seat to approach Alex,

Anna approached Alex and looked at the man expectantly,

"Darling... Is it okay if we let Erika sleep here for tonight??" ask Anna.

"It's late enough and it's still raining outside." continued Anna.

Alex was silent for a moment and looked at Erika who was looking down while waiting for Alex to answer,

"of course.. You can stay here tonight" Alex said.

Erika immediately raised her face and smiled at Alex,

"Thank you." she smiled.

After that Aunt Van took Erika to the room downstairs, some bodyguards helped carry Erika's suitcase to her room.

After being in the room, Erika began to clean her body and change her clothes.

Erika stared at the room she was in at the moment with a hard to interpret gaze. The woman surrounded the room while paying attention to every detail that was in the room that was quite spacious and comfortable.

There was a knock from outside. Erika rushed to the door and opened it slowly,

Erika paused for a moment and looked at Anna who was smiling at her,

"Then excuse me" said Anna, who rushed back to leave Erika's room.

Erika was silent at the door and looked at Anna's distant back with a hard to decipher gaze. After that Erika sighed and closed the door again to rest.

Anna went into her room. The girl looked at Alex who was seen sitting on the sofa while looking seriously at the laptop in front of her,

"What are you doing??" ask Anna.

Alex looked at Anna and smiled at her,

"none.. Just looking for something" he answered.

Alex patted the sofa next to him, giving Anna the code to sit next to him. Anna stepped there and sat down next to her husband.

Alex immediately rested his head on his wife's thigh. The man looked at his wife's face while gently touching her cheek. Anna raised her hand and rubbed Alex's hair,

"Tomorrow I'll find a place to stay for Erika" Alex said suddenly.

Anna looked at Alex and nodded slowly,

"I'm very concerned about him.. He has to go through something like this" Anna said slowly.

Alex just listened to Anna. The man seemed to be thinking about something. Anna, who realized that, rubbed her husband's cheek gently,

"What's wrong?? Does something seem to bother your mind??" ask Anna slowly.

Alex touched Anna's hand and looked at her gently,

"none... I'm just making sure of something" he said.

Anna frowned as she looked at Alex questioningly. The man smiled and looked at his wife's face,

"I'll tell you later, if everything is clear" Alex continued.

The man felt a little strange while talking to Mr. George earlier. A suspicion came to Alex's mind. His instincts said something was wrong here. And Alex will find his own.
