Painful Memories

Lidya led Anna towards the large swimming pool that was behind the house.

Anna stared at the swimming pool that was not filled with water. The bottom floors of the pool looked very dirty.

"Miss.. Actually I don't feel good about asking for Miss's help" Lidya said suddenly.

"Will Miss help me clean this swimming pool?" said Lidya with a clear face.

Anna stared at the very dirty swimming pool for a moment,

"Tens.. Of course, there's no need to hesitate" Anna replied a little hesitantly.

This swimming pool is very large and dirty. It may take a long time to clean..

"Sorry Miss, my body is still not fit after yesterday's fever. I also need to clean the front yard. Would it be okay if Miss cleaned this pool by herself? If Miss is tired, Miss can rest first" said Lidya.

"It's okay, I'll clean it up. You rest" Anna smiled at Lidya.

"Thank you Miss" Lidya smiled back and stepped inside the house.

Lidya's smile disappeared while she was inside the house. Lidya stared intently at Anna from behind the window.

"I'm going to torture you slowly" whispered Lidya growled from behind the window, then stepped away.

Anna stared at the dirty swimming pool and the yard filled with dried leaves.

Anna took a deep breath and exhaled her.

"Spirit!" he said to encourage himself.

Then Anna pinched her hair to ease her work.

Anna began her work by sweeping all the fallen leaves around the pond.

After sweeping the entire leaf. Anna got into the pool and started cleaning every floor and wall of the dirty pool.

Anna wiped the sweat off her face with her hands. For several hours he cleaned this pool, his body had started to feel tired and sore from rubbing the floor.

But Anna chose to continue cleaning it, only half of the pool was left again that she had to clean.

A drop of water fell on Anna's head..

Anna looked at the sky above her which was already overcast, it seemed like it was going to rain..

Drop by drop water descended from the sky, and continued to descend swiftly. Anna, who was getting soaked, decided to climb up from the pool and ran towards the door.

The sound of lightning sounded so loud that Anna covered her ears.

Anna was already at the door and trying to open the door. But the door was not open.

Anna tried to open it and push it, but still couldn't. It looks like the door is locked from the inside.

Anna tried to knock on the door, hoping someone would open it.

"Ladyy!!" shouted Anna.

"Lidya!! Please open the door!" yelled Anna back.

But the door did not open. The huge rain and the huge sound of lightning frightened Anna.

Anna crouched down in front of the door hugging her body that was shivering with coldness.

A flash of bad memories from when he was a child suddenly appeared in his mind..

Anna was 8 years old. While playing in her room alone, Anna hears her mother and father arguing outside. At first it was just an ordinary quarrel, but over time they shouted at each other and cursed at each other. Even from inside her room Anna could hear some broken items.

Anna covered her ears trying not to hear anything. The sound of the quarrels of her two masters was louder in Anna's ears than the heavy rain and lightning that struck outside.

Suddenly the fighting sounds of his two masters were not heard anymore. Anna walked to the window staring out, she saw her mother and father outside the house and left in a different car leaving the house.

Anna ran out of the room, trying to chase after her two masters.

"Mother!!!! Daddy!!!!" little Anna cried while crying staring at the car her parents were getting away and out of the gate of the house in different directions.

"Mother!!! Daddy!!! Don't leave me!!!" he screamed while crying loudly.

"Miss, don't go there!" said one of the servants who kept Anna from running out.

"Mothers... Father.." muttered Anna as she continued to cry sobbing.

Anna shut her ears tightly. He did not want to remember those painful memories again..

Anna leaned against the door and knocked it back.

"Please open the door." Anna muttered in tears.

Alex parked his car in the yard. A housekeeper as usual opened the door for him.

Today Alex came home quite late. He had to work overtime because his work piled up.

The rain stopped a few hours ago.

Alex put his foot into the house. His body felt very tired and sticky. Alex climbed the stairs to his private room to clean himself up.

Lidya meets Alex on the 2nd floor. He bowed to Alex. But Alex kept stepping aside to ignore his whereabouts.

Lidya stared sadly at Alex's back who was away and into her personal space.

If only he could relieve his Master's fatigue, and massage his body. But it will all just be his wishful thinking.

But Lidya believes that someday it's not just his imagination, he will make it all come true.

Alex is just for him, and he's just for Alex..

Tired of crying, Anna did not realize she had slept since. Her clothes and hair were still wet. Anna hugged her body which was shivering with coldness and tried to stand up.

It was already dark, Anna stared at the door in front of her that was still closed.

Anna tried to knock back on the door,

Geck.. Geck..

"Lidya!! Did you hear me? Please open the door!!" shouted Anna.

Geck.. Geck..

"Ladyy!!!" shouted again.

But still the door was not open. Did Lidya forget that she was still in this pond? Or was he on purpose?

Anna shook her head putting away her suspicions on Lidya. Besides why would Lidya purposely lock her outside like this?

Anna tried to knock back on the door even harder.

But the splashing sound from behind the leaves stopped Anna's movement as she was about to knock.

What is that sound? thought.

Anna noticed the dried leaves piled up on the edge of the pond suddenly moving.

Anna focused her eyes there. The dark atmosphere made Anna unable to see it too clearly.

Back the leaf was moving, like there was something behind the foliage. Anna watched on vigilantly.

Suddenly a large cobra came out from the pile of leaves.

The shocked Anna reflexively closed her mouth.

The snake was so big, Anna again knocked on the door impatiently.

Geck.. Geck.. Geck..

"Help anyone open the door!!" shouted Anna.

But no, the door did not open. Anna stared fearfully at the huge snake that was moving closer towards her.

Alex walked out of the bathroom, wiping her wet hair, wearing her kimono towel. After cleansing, his body felt better.

Alex sits on the couch and opens his laptop. Suddenly he was dying to have a cup of coffee tonight.

Alex recalled the girl he had assigned to be his personal servant from today. Where's she?

Alex stepped out of his room into Anna's room. Alex opens the door unlocked and does not find Anna in his room.

Alex clucked in annoyance, he should have given the girl a bracelet of command so she wouldn't have to bother looking for it. Now the girl acts as she pleases to roam this house.

Alex returned to his room to press the command button that all the house guards would hear.

"Find me where my captive girl is now, and bring it to me!!" firmly Alex.

Upon hearing her Master's orders the guards searched for Anna's whereabouts around the house. Lidya was no exception, she looked a little panicked. But Lidya hoped that no one would look towards the swimming pool. He will stop anyone from going there..

Alex opens his laptop and sees all the cctv in every room. He found the girl nowhere. Did the girl run away? alex in his heart.

But suddenly his gaze was shifted on the cctv in the swimming pool. Alex saw Anna standing at the corner of the wall like she was avoiding something.

Alex zooms in on his screen and tries to see what the girl avoids.

Alex sees a large cobra snake leading to Anna being frightened.

"Why is this girl always such a hassle!!" upset Alex, then stepped away towards the swimming pool.

Anna looked at the cobra snake that was getting closer to her. His steps were deadlocked, now he was already leaning against the corner of the wall. What's he supposed to do? Would the snake pass him if he stayed still and did not move?

Anna held her breath and closed her eyes, hoping that the snake would just pass through her.

Yet..

The gunshot shocked Anna.

DOR!!

Anna who was startled reflex crouched down and closed her eyes..

The sound of footsteps approaching him.

"Why are you always so troublesome!!!" said someone who stepped up to him.

Anna opened her eyes staring fearfully at the snake that was covered in blood and was crushed to pieces by the gunfire.

Then Anna looked at Alex who was already standing before her with a cold face but seemed to harbor a sense of annoyance and anger.

However, for some reason.seeing the man coming this time made Anna feel safe and calm.

What is this feeling??
