A burly guard was about to walk towards a room. His feet climbed the stairs to the 2nd floor of the mansion. A family photo is displayed on the wall leading up to the stairs. The ornaments and items in the house looked very luxurious and expensive. People who see it will be amazed to see the luxury of the house.

Once on the 2nd floor, the guard took a key in his pants pocket and opened one of the doors.

THE CLUCK!!!

His gaze led to a large bed that looked empty and tidy.

"Master!!!" the guard tried to call someone.

Now the step leads to a bathroom in the corner of the room and tries to open it.

THE CLUCK!!!

The guard opened the bathroom door, but no one was there. With a slight panic he circled the entire room and did not find anyone he was looking for.

Then his gaze also led to a window curtain that moved in the wind. He violently pulled the curtain and saw that the iron barrier of the window had been opened and broken. The window glass is wide open.

"DON'T!!!!!" his yell.

He quickly left the room to meet someone. After descending back downstairs, the guard knocked on a large closed door.

Geck... Geck...

"Excuse me sir, there's something important I want to say" he said nervously.

After waiting for some time, the door was opened by one of the servants in the room. Immediately the guard walked in to approach an elderly middle-aged man with his white hair who was sitting leaning on top of the bed enjoying his breakfast. The guard bowed to the middle-aged man.

"Tu... Sir.." said the guard a little scared.

With his sharp eyes the middle-aged man stared impatiently at the guard in front of him,

"Quick say!!" says firmly.

The waiter bowed deeply again,

"Mr Alexander... Mr. Alexander managed to escape!!" sisi fast.

The middle-aged man widened and sighed roughly. Then suddenly he touched his head which felt heavy.

"Sir.. are you okay???" ask the guard to worry.

The guard swiftly rested the middle-aged man's body on the pillow.

"Well... I've guessed... That brat!! Quickly find him!!!" said the middle-aged man while twitching his head.

The guard nodded in understanding and bowed his body again,

"Okay Sir!!" he said then stepped away.

The middle-aged man closed his eyes firmly restraining the vexation,

"Diana.... Your son is a wild boy!!" his gerrick.

Anna blinked her eyes slowly, her head feeling very heavy and painful. His consciousness is not perfect. His eyes slowly opened and looked towards the white ceiling above him.

'Where is this???' thought Anna in her heart.

The girl felt her next hand feel heavy and warm. At once the girl's gaze turned to the right side and saw Daniel's sleeping face holding his hand.

Slowly Anna tried to raise her hand to release the grip of Daniel's hand in her hand. But the movement made Daniel immediately woke up from his sleep. The man looked at Anna in surprise.

"A.. Anna, are you conscious???" ask Daniel to be happy.

The man quickly touched back Anna's hand and rubbed her forehead gently.

"Thank God... I'm so glad you're okay" whispered Daniel sincerely.

Anna just stared flatly at Daniel. Then his gaze returned to the surroundings of the room.

"Where is this??" whispered Anna slowly.

Daniel touched Anna's cheek and smiled gently, saying,

"Now we are in the hospital" Daniel replied.

"Yesterday you passed out after the rain, and then I brought you here" he continued.

Anna frowned and tried to recall what had happened. After the girl remembered everything, Anna immediately tried to get up from her sleep.

"Alex!!!" anna said worriedly.

Daniel quickly tries to hold Anna's body in bed.

"Anna, that's enough!! You're sick.. Get some rest!!" daniel persuaded.

Anna shook her head strongly and her eyes began to glaze over,

"No!! I have to.." she said cut.

William approached Anna,

"It's enough Anna!! Shut up and rest" he said back.

Anna glanced at William and threw away her sight. Daniel could only breathe deeply.

"Daniel, please call the doctor, tell him that Anna is conscious" William said.

Daniel hesitated a little and then understood. Actually he did not have the heart to leave Anna, but seeing William's sharp gaze, Daniel was forced to leave Anna with his father.

After Daniel left, William approached Anna.

"Rest!! And stop being childish. You know Daniel's been waiting here all night. And about that guy... You should be able to accept reality, Anna" William said firmly.

"Stop talking about the guy. He has already exerted a bad influence on you!! He's dead anyway" William continued.

Anna clenched her hand in silence hearing William's words. Then looked at the man sharply.

"He's not dead!!" said Anna Sharp.

"And just so you know, someone's feelings can't be forced." he continued.

William sighed and looked back at Anna,

"You're too young, you don't understand what love is!!" william Sharp said.

Anna smiled cynically then looked at her father with a look of disdain,

"really?? Then what about dad??Do you understand about love??? Father even failed in building a household!!!" said Anna Sharp.

At once William widened his eyes and stared intently at Anna,

"Enough!!!!!" his yell.

Anna did not speak to William and kept looking at him,

"Don't you know what it's like to marry someone you don't love??" ask Anna who started to tear up.

"Then do you understand how a child who grows up with parents who fight every day because there is no love between them!!!" anna was trembling.

"Do you know how I feel???" asked Anna sharply.

A single tear dripped down his cheek. Then Anna harshly wiped away her tears.

"Dad always selfish!! Never understood my feelings, mother's feelings!!" continued.

"Did you realize?? You've been repeating your father's past story to me??" asked Anna sharply.

"I don't want to live like a father or Diana!!!!" his yell.

DEG!!!

Instantly William felt a loud slap in his heart. His chest felt tight as if he had hit thousands of large stones. Her heart felt pain and shattered into pieces after hearing Anna's words.

William touched his chest and fell silent while closing his eyes. Is he that selfish?? thought sad.

William looked at Anna and opened his mouth to say something. But the sound of the door knocking stopped him,

Geck.. Geck...

Then the door opened slowly,

Instantly Anna was bowed and wiped away her tears. William also set his gaze up and touched his head which suddenly hurt.

"Excuse me... Thank goodness Miss is aware, I will check on Miss first" said a doctor who walked in to Anna.

Daniel was silent at the door and looked at William's face that looked not okay. Daniel could feel the coldness of this room after he entered. William and Anna's eyes could not lie.

William immediately approached Daniel and patted him on the shoulder,

"Please take care of Anna, I'll be out for a while" William said softly.

Daniel nodded, and saw William's departure. Instantly Daniel lowered his head and felt a tightness in his chest. Who would have thought that he had heard the conversation between the father and the child since earlier.

He paused his intention to enter upon hearing the quarrel between them. Daniel touched his chest, then looked at Anna who was being examined by the doctor with a blank look.

He did not know that the girl had suffered so much all this time. His childhood was so sad, his heart was broken when he learned of Anna's past.

If she continued her engagement with Anna, would that make the girl suffer as well??

Does he have to give up now??? thought sad.
