The girl closed her eyes and inhaled the night air that blew her face.

Suddenly someone hugged his body from behind tightly,

"I'm sorry.." whispered the man in Anna's ear.

Anna closed her eyes and felt a soft gust of Alex breathing down her neck. The man slit his neck long enough.

Anna turned her body and looked at Alex, who was also looking at her deeply. The man raised one hand and gently touched Anna's cheek.

"Did my words hurt you??" ask Alex carefully.

Anna smiled and touched the hand of Alex who was on her cheek while shaking slowly,

"No Alex... I should be the one apologizing." Anna said softly.

"I don't know how much it hurts in your heart... I can only tell you to forget it without me knowing how you really feel.. I know you must still be traumatized and hurt by your past... I'm sorry." said Anna feeling guilty.

Alex raised the girl's face and looked at her deeply,

"No Anna, I know you mean it's good. You want me to live a quiet life without any grudges in my heart and want me to re-establish a good relationship with my family." Alex said softly.

"And... Maybe you're right... I have to try to forget my past and start a new life" he continued.

Anna looked into Alex's eyes with a look of disbelief. Does this man really want to forget his past??? thought Anna in her heart.

Alex smiled and nodded at Anna,

"I've decided it... I want a new chapter of life, where there is no more resentment and hatred. And. live quietly with you" Alex whispered as she stared deeply at Anna.

"Thank you Anna... You have managed to defeat my ego and make me aware" he continued.

Anna could not hold back her tears and hugged the man tightly.

"I'm so proud of you Alex. We'll go through it together" Anna said slowly.

Alex returned Anna's embrace and drowned her face in the girl's neck. Inhaling her deeply, and with a flash her feelings became calm and warm.

"I love you" Alex whispered in Anna's ear.

Anna drowned her face on Alex's chest and smiled in her tears. He knew it would be tough for Alex. However, he did not expect Alex would try and try to forget his dark past.

But it was also for Alex's good. Anna does not want Alex's life to be filled with endless wounds and grudges on her own family. He wants Alex to get back together with his family and establish a good relationship. Because they're the people closest to Alex right now.

Anna also believes Alex's late parents did not want her son to live in a grudge that would hurt himself.

Alex let go of his embrace and wiped away the tears on Anna's cheek gently.

"I'm sorry for making you cry" Alex said.

Anna nodded slowly, too,

"I'm just overwhelmed" Anna said slowly.

Alex tucked Anna's hair behind her ear and looked at the girl deeply. They looked at each other in silence, feeling the beating of their hearts so fast.

Slowly Alex brought his face closer to Anna's. His gaze led to Anna's pink lips which instantly made the turmoil within her body increase.

"I want to kiss her." Alex whispered in a hoarse voice.

Anna just pecked for a moment and started to close her eyes,

Alex put his lips on Anna's lips. His hand grabbed the nape of the girl and the other hand gently embraced Anna's waist.

Key looked at the waiter sharply,

The waiter looked a little scared but still blocked the door.

"You are so noisy!! Remember you're just a waiter here!! You have no right to rule me!!!!" key then opened the door and left.

The waiter fell on the floor grimacing as he stared at Key's departure. The girl was stubborn, he thought. The waiter got up and told Donna and Jonas
