"How is he doing?" alex asked the doctor worriedly.

After Anna whimpered in pain from eating the spicy food earlier. Alex immediately told his assistant to call a doctor to his house.

"This woman had an infection in her gut" the doctor said.

Anna who was lying on the bed instantly turned her face as Alex looked at her in annoyance. It seems like the man is very angry. Anna should have followed her words earlier..

Alex looked back at the doctor seriously,

"Is the infection severe?" ask Alex again.

After the doctor came out of Anna's room. Alex turns her body around on Anna.

Anna just lowered her face hearing Alex scolding her.

"Have, rest!" alex said as he rubbed Anna's head.

Suddenly Alex felt his phone ring. Alex took his phone in his pants pocket and lifted it up.

"Hello, Harry, what's wrong?" ask Alex.

"alright... I'll be at the office soon" he said.

Alex turns off his phone and stares at Anna for a moment. He didn't want to go to the office today. But his secretary said there was a scheduled meeting with his business partner today.

Alex looked at Anna for a moment,

"I have to go to the office now, is that okay?" alex asked a little worried about leaving Anna.

"There's an important meeting I have to attend today. I'll have the waiter take care of you" he continued.

Anna looked at Alex in surprise. Why should this man ask her? think Anna.

"Go, I'm fine. Besides, I'm not a child you should worry about" Anna said indifferently.

Alex looked at Anna with a look of regret. Didn't this girl know that she was worried about him? alex is in my heart.

"Basic insensitive!" alex said slowly.

"All right, I'll go first. Do not forget to take medicine and do not try to dare to eat spicy food again!!" firmly Alex.

Anna breathed out after hearing Alex's words,

"All right." she replied.

Alex approached Anna and kissed her head quickly. Anna stared at Alex. Alex grinned at Anna's shock at her actions.

"I go first" Alex said, stepping towards the door and exiting.

When Alex was completely gone, Anna touched her cheek which was slightly blushing over the act of Alex kissing her head earlier. For a moment Anna was pensive considering Alex's behavior that changed 180 degrees now. Does the man really have genuine feelings for her? Or just a show?

Anna realizes Alex has a big grudge against her father. Anna doesn't know what's going on between them.

Does he have to find out? Anna did not want to just keep quiet. At least he should know a little bit about the problem. Anna believes the problem between them is not just a business problem. Maybe there's something else between Alex and his dad.

Anna slowly lowered her feet from the bed. Her stomach is not too painful now.

Anna stepped slowly out of her room and approached Alex's room.

The door's not locked! Anna took a deep breath and then ventured to go inside.

'This is just work files only' Anna said in her heart.

Then after that Anna tried to open the drawer under the table. It contained only a pile of papers that Anna did not understand.

When Anna saw some papers. His gaze stopped on a photo that looked worn and was cross-marked by a red marker. 'Whose picture is this?' ask Anna in her heart. This photo is an old one..

In the photo, there is a pair of men and women who are smiling together towards the camera. It seems like they are lovers, Anna thought.

Anna was trying to see clearly who was in the photo?

"This is data about William Pratama's daughter that you want" he said.

"All right, you can come back!" said Alex.

Alex does ask his secretary to find information about Anna. He used to only care about information about William and knew enough that the old man had a daughter.

Now that the girl stole his whole heart. Alex felt he should know about the girl as little as possible.

Alex opened the file and read it. Inside the file is a photo of Anna as a child until adulthood.

Alex's smile expanded as he looked at the photos. Just looking at her picture alone Alex felt tired of disappearing and her mood improved.

Alex opened each sheet of paper. It is written that Anna loves and is good at dancing. Alex recalled the first time he asked Anna to dance. The girl looked lame and always stomped her feet.
