Anna walked a little nervously down the stairs. He looked at Alex who was sitting on the sofa and looked at him with a sharp gaze. Anna had already guessed it, this dress seemed to be too much for her. The man doesn't seem to like it.

Alex turned his face away when Anna was already in front of him.

"Mr Alex, Miss Anna is ready" said the woman who guided Anna.

Alex stood up from his seat and looked at Anna indifferently. His gaze unintentionally led to Anna's slightly visible cleavage.

Alex gritted his teeth. Something inside her body suddenly felt hot.

"Who picked this dress for her!!" alex said sharply.

The fairy woman immediately felt fear. Does Mr Alex not like Miss Anna's appearance? She thought the dress was perfect for Anna. Even Anna looked so beautiful and perfect with this dress.

Anna looked at Alex for a moment. As expected, this man would definitely not like his appearance.

"Ma.. Sorry sir, we think this dress is perfect for Miss Anna. We also apologise because the previous dress had a slight deformity in the lower part of the skirt" she said, looking down in fear.

Anna touched the fairy lady's shoulder and smiled comfortingly.

"It's okay. I love this dress.. Don't mind the man" Anna comforted him.

The woman looked at Anna and smiled back,

"Thank you Miss" he replied.

"I'm leaving first" Anna said, then followed Alex.

Anna got into the car following Alex who was already sitting in front of his wheel. Alex started the car and drove out of the yard.

Along the way as usual, there was only a noise from the vehicle outside that was heard.

Anna just stared out the window during the trip. It seemed like this man's mood was not good since he saw the dress Anna was wearing.

Is it that bad? ask Anna in her heart.

After a while, the car Alex was driving into a 5-star hotel that looked luxurious and majestic. Anna stared around, many other luxury vehicles coming into the hotel.

Alex stopped his car at the hotel entrance.

"Don't do anything silly this time!! And don't even try to get out of my reach!!" alex says sharply to Anna and opens the door to her car and exits.

Anna just silently listened to Alex. He hopes this night will pass soon.

Alex opens the door for Anna, then extends her hand to Anna.

Anna clasped Alex's hand and stepped out.

Alex gave the car keys to the guard. Then walk side by side with Anna.

The people who passed by them stared in amazement at the two. They look very good when walking together.

Anna walked nervously, seeing so many eyes looking at her made Anna feel uneasy. But Anna tried to ignore the feeling and kept going.

Alex gives an invitation card that has a special code to the officer who is on guard. After the officers checked, they were allowed in.

When the door opened, there were many guests present at the party. The extravagant decorations made Anna amazed to see it. This engagement party looks like a wedding party in Anna's eyes.

A man approached Alex and greeted him.

"Hi Alex, haven't seen each other in a long time. How are you?" said the man.

"I'm good Derren. How are you?" reply Alex.

"I'm good too" he said, patting Alex on the shoulder.

The man's gaze turned to Anna who was beside Alex.

"Wow.. Is this the pretty girl who has conquered the ice in your heart? Introduce my name Derren, nice to meet you" she told Alex in a joking tone as she extended her hand to Anna.

Anna smiled clumsily and then welcomed the man's hand.

"I'm Anna, nice to meet you" Anna replied.

Derren approached Alex and whispered something to her.

"Where did you meet him? Wow she's really pretty, I love it!" derren.

At once Alex's facial expression hardened and looked at Derren sharply. Derren who was conscious with Alex's changed face immediately laughed awkwardly.

"Oh my goodness Alex.. I'm just kidding!!" abugn.

"Alright, enjoy the party" he continued and passed away.

Alex quickly led Anna towards the seat reserved for the invited guests. Her engagement party is about to begin. Anna looked at Alex at the glance who was sitting beside her. It seems like the mood of this man right now is really bad, Anna thought.

From a distance a man watched Alex and Anna from the moment he arrived. His eyes were on Anna.

A sly grin appeared on his lips..

The engagement party began. After the reception, the lovers were already standing on a stage that was conjured up like a beautiful flower garden. They exchanged rings and then kissed each other.

They are a compatible couple according to Anna. Looks like we love each other and are happy tonight.

After the core event. Guests began to greet the couple.

"Congratulations on your engagement" Alex told the couple.

"Hi Alex, thank you. I hope you'll catch up with haha too" she said to Alex.

Anna pretended to smile at the man's words.

Alex looked at Roy from a distance who was talking to Mr. Felix's a co-worker, too.

"You wait here!! Don't step from here in the slightest!!" alex said sharply to Anna.

Alex steps away from Anna.

Anna breathed her tired breath. He's tired of being here. He wants to go home and sleep.

A man accidentally bumped his shoulder into Anna. Anna almost fell down. But quickly the man held Anna's body.

"Sorry, are you okay?" said worried.

The shocked Anna immediately straightened her body and released the man's hand on her waist.

"A.. I'm okay" Anna said.

Anna looked at the foreign man in front of her. The man looked anxiously at Anna.

"I'm sorry, I walked around without looking. I almost hurt you, are you sure you're okay?" ask again to make sure.

"Yes, I'm fine" Anna said.

"Thank God" he said.

The man looked at Anna in admiration. This girl is much prettier if you look closely, he thought. The man stared at Anna intensely from top to bottom. How could that jerk Alex get a woman this beautiful, he thought.

Anna was troubled by the man's gaze. He looked at Alex from afar who was still busy chatting with his partner. He hoped Alex would come soon and keep him away from this man.

"alright.. A.. Excuse me first" said Anna nervously trying to avoid this man.

"Wait!" said the man held Anna's hand.

Anna looked at the man's hand that was holding her. Then Anna quickly let go of her hand.

"I'm sorry, I'm so presumptuous" the man told Anna.

"Oh yes, my name is Louis Fellen. Nice to meet you" she said as she extended her hand to Anna.

Anna looked at the man's hand doubtfully.

"My name is Anna" Anna replied briefly without welcoming the man's helping hand.

The man smiled sinisterly and raised his hand back.

"Well, hopefully we can meet again" she smiled meaningfully and left Anna.

Anna exhaled her breath a little relieved as the man was already gone. Anna turned her gaze around to look for Alex. Alex was not in his place.

Where's that guy? I think Anna is a little scared.

Anna sets foot in search of Alex's whereabouts, but never finds him. Too many people here he's having trouble finding it.

Anna stood back where she was when Alex told her to wait. Alex is not back yet.

A waiter approached Anna and offered her various drinks that she had brought on the tray.

"Miss please drink" he said.

Anna looked doubtful at the drink. He was afraid of drinking it wrong again like that time. Although he felt thirsty because he walked from earlier looking for Alex's whereabouts.

"If you don't want wine, I also bring juice here" the waiter pointed to one of the glasses.

With doubt Anna took the juice.

At least this is not wine, he said in his heart.

He's very thirsty at the moment.

Anna gulped her juice bit by bit. His thirst disappeared instantly.

Anna again sets her sights on finding Alex. Suddenly a servant approached Anna.

"Miss, a message from Mr. Alex. He had Miss waiting for him in the lobby of the 2nd floor" he told Anna.

"Oh, thank you" said Anna.

Anna quickly looked for a way to the 2nd floor. Why did the man tell her to go upstairs? think Anna.

It's possible that Alex was talking about something important with his partner earlier and had Anna waiting there, he thought.

When she reached the 2nd floor, Anna set her sights on Alex. It's so quiet here, where's that guy? he said in his heart.
