THE ANGEL I HURT

I'm scared

Ray awakens when he hears Levi's unusual cry. He got up and opened the door to his room. Soon looking for Levi's whereabouts.

"Ray, Levi's body is so hot" the panicked Chaira immediately said that

Ray touched Levi's forehead.

"We take him to the hospital" he asked after feeling Levi's body temperature was high.

Chaira immediately nodded. Rosa immediately helped him prepare Levi's needs. Ray without changing his clothes and with random hair flashing directly into the car and followed by Chaira.

They went to the nearest mother and child hospital.

Upon arrival at Levi's hospital, he was treated immediately. They were asked to wait outside. Ray pacing back and forth in front of the action room door.

"Ray, sit. We better pray that Levi is okay" Chaira asked him to calm down.

Ray according. He sat next to Chaira. Nearly half an hour waiting for the doctor to come out.

"With Levi's parents?" ask the doctor

"Yes doc, we're his parents" Ray steadfastly replied.

"How's our son doing, Doc?" ray asked impatiently

Doctor smile.

"It's okay sir, ma'am, the fever experienced by the father's son mother is just a common fever caused when the baby will start teething. It doesn't happen in every baby but it's normal. So there's nothing to worry about" the doctor said

"Alhamdulillah" Chaira thanked.

Ray did something similar. Many times he stroked his chest a sign of relief.

"Do our sons need to be cared for, Doc?" ask Ray

"No need sir, your son can be taken home.just give it later the medicine and vitamins I give according to the dose" the doctor said

Ray immediately thanked her before the doctor left them. Once they are done taking care of the administration and redeeming the medications prescribed by their doctor, they go hand in hand.

Ray who was carrying Levi and Chaira walked beside him. Sometimes Ray was seen kissing Levi who was still sleeping because of the influence of his heat-lowering drugs.

"Showever, champ abi was about to grow his teeth. Once again abi will often hear the mother who screams in pain while breastfeeding you yes son,, just bite mother yes son" whispered Ray in Levi's ear while teasing Chaira.

"Don't teach him like thatuuuu, you're the one who's ignorant of me. Don't teach Levi too!!!" chaira starts to get hooked

An irritated Chaira is seen several times beating Ray's arm in anxiety when seen they look like a happy young couple.

As they walked out of the hospital they passed by the sisters who rushed to bring a woman who seemed to be about to give birth.

The woman looked very sick. He turned his face to the right and to the left many times while enduring the pain. The woman looked up as she passed us.

"Chairaaaa" he exclaimed while still enduring his pain

"Febby???" Chaira surprised.

Soon followed the sister who was half running around pushing Febby's bed. Ray followed Chaira.

"Febby hang on" Chaira said, clasping Febby's hand

Febby, who was in a lot of pain, began to become unconscious. Chaira informs the nurse of the condition, who immediately speeds up their steps towards the operating room.

"We wait here, Ray" pinta Chaira once Febby has been brought in.

Ray nodded. He sat down beside Chaira who looked rather panicked and continued to look towards the operating room door. Ray asked her courageously.

"Chai, if I'm not mistaken you call him Febby. Isn't Febby Darren's second wife?" ask Ray heart

Chaira nodded.

"Isn't he against you?" ask Ray again

Chaira nodded back.

"Ray, I understand the direction of your question. What I'm doing here is what I need to do as a woman. Giving support and encouragement because I also had the pain of giving birth. Regardless of who the woman is, what our relationship is, what the problem is, what happens between you, I just put my humanity first. Whatever he's done to me, anyway, I've forgiven him" Chaira said

"But I was wondering, why would Febby be here too? Isn't she still Darren's wife? Or don't Darren be here?" exclaims Ray

Chaira who did not think about it was a bit surprised to hear that. He thought maybe they should get out of there. But he didn't want to leave Febby before he knew how he was.

Chaira's worried. Ray understood his concern. He asked permission to go to the bathroom for a moment. Levi's handing over to Chaira.

Silence she called her assistant to immediately pretend she wanted to find a meeting with Darren today. If Darren can be found today, it means he's not here.

Ray soon returns to Chaira once his assistant tells her that Darren can be found today. Ray's sure he's not here.

Ray sees a doctor with a face that is not good to convey bad news. The baby survived but Febby was critical and lost a great deal of blood.

"There is no complete husband and family data from the patient. We could not contact her husband or her family. If you do know the patient maybe you can help us to inform the patient's family" said the doctor.

"Good thank you doc" said Ray representing

Chaira who was silent looked confused.

"Why is there no data on husbands? How could? Where's Darren? " Chaira asked inwardly

While engrossed in thought Chaira gasps when the nurse tells her that Febby has come to her senses and wants to see her.

Chaira immediately entered with Ray. They did not bring Levi along because Levi had come home with Rosa who had been called by Ray and immediately came to pick him up at the hospital.

Ray doesn't want Levi to stay in the hospital for long.

Chaira approached the extremely weak Rosa.

Febby takes pains to save his energy to tell Chaira what happened to her and Darren all along.

"Cha,,, Chaaaiiraaa,, Aa, aa, I'm min, I'm sorry. I su,,, dah, ter, then a lot of me,,, hurt,, you. Me, take the kid, me. She's Darren's daughter too, "Febby's voice came to a halt along with the sound of tiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttt

"Febbyyyy,, Febbyyy,," Chaira tried to shake Febby's limp body.

Ray tried to call a doctor to check what was going on. The doctor and the nurse came to ask them to come out first.

A few minutes later the doctor came out and delivered the sad news. Febby had died from complications and lost a lot of blood.

Chaira was sitting down to hear it. Ray touched his shoulder slowly.

"What are you going to do now, Chai?" tannya

Chaira shook her head weakly. All this surprised him too much. He needs time to think.

I opened the photo attachment that my men sent by email. My eyes were wide when I saw the photo.

The background of the photo is a hospital. Many pregnant women and some women carrying babies there. It's not wrong that it's a mother and daughter hospital.

Febby's photo was lying in a bed pushed by several sisters. Looks like Febby's about to give birth. But that's not what caught my attention.

The veiled woman who kept holding Febby's hand was what came to my attention.

"Chaira??? Is that really him? How can he be with Febby??" thought

I'm glad to find her. I'm pretty sure it was Chaira when I saw Rosa in some of the photos.

But my brain turned again hard when looking at the next photo slide.

Chaira seemed familiar with a man whose clothes were ordinary even his hair was not combed at all. Nothing fancy in that guy. I couldn't recognize him, let alone no photo showing his face clearly.

"Who is that guy? Why did Chaira seem to be close to him? And the baby she was carrying?? Who's the baby??" my brain keeps turning.

My eyes were more rounded when I saw a photo that showed Chaira entering the nursing room with the baby.

"Why did Chaira enter the nursing room? could she be nursing the baby? But how could she breastfeed a baby if she wasn't her mother?" I'm getting confused.

"Or don't,, "I can't continue what I imagined.

I was too scared that what I imagined would happen.
