THE ANGEL I HURT

THE ANGEL I HURT
Shady eyes

Bruuuaakkk,,,, the,,,

"ahhh" the girl crouched down and directly collected the books and paper scattering on the floor after I accidentally bumped into her as we passed by.

I was joking with my two best friends and we pushed each other until when Dion pushed my body I hit him. Feeling guilty Dion and Angga immediately help the girl collect her paper. I stood where I was accompanied by Febby, who was busy tidying up my slightly messy shirt. She smiled because she did not refuse this time. But his eyes shone with dislike when he realized I did not blink looking at the long-veiled girl who was still looking down busy tidying up the paper.

" this" Dion held out the paper in his hand to the girl. I saw the girl trying to get the paper out of Dion's hand without touching her hand. Likewise when he received a paper from Angga. After he finished he cupped both his hands in front of his chest like saying thank you. Not a word I heard came out of his lips. Even when Dion apologized to her because we accidentally bumped into her earlier she also just replied with a soft and polite nod.

I couldn't see his face because he was wearing a veiled hijab. I could only see black round eyes with a shady gaze. For a moment my heart rippled. I don't know what that feeling is but that pair of eyes really makes me wonder who the owner really is.

I kept looking at the girl's departure until Dion patted me on the shoulder and took me home. In the car I sat in front as usual letting Dion drive. Behind are Febby and Angga. They talked to each other about things that didn't interest me at all. Nearly a month with Febby, she's been with him wherever we go. It made my two best friends familiar with him. Even though I was in the same car, I just kept quiet and did not keep up with their conversation at all. My mind drifted far away on the hijab girl just now.

"Who is he? Why haven't I seen her all this time? And his eyes were shining a shady light that was able to disturb my heart" my mind continued to float

"I go down first honey" Febby's voice resuscitated me. I looked around and realized we had arrived in front of his house.

"Hmmm" I said short. Febby was a little upset by my answer but did not protest at all and went down and waved his hand at us before we drove our car.

"a month with him I had never even touched him" Febby grumbled at our departure and went into his house.

"Who was that hijab girl?" I asked Dion

"gue doesn't know bro, maybe Angga does? " he answered, glancing at Angga from the windshield

"hahh I don't know either. Why is it bro? " ask Angga back to me

"What's up, "I said short

"I have to figure out who that woman is" I thought

The next day I asked my best friend and Febby not to bother me. I just want to be alone and spend my time reading in the college library. None of my best friends protested because they knew I didn't like to be banned by anyone when I wanted to go to the library. It was the only place I liked the most. Even when Febby asked to come with me they both pulled him away.

I choose what books I want to read. My eyes were busy reading every title written in the book until I stopped my activities as my eyes caught the figure of the woman I knew

"He??" I can remember for sure who that figure was even though I never saw the face behind the veil at all.

My eyes follow wherever the girl goes. And when he was sitting down I haphazardly picked up a book without reading the title. I just want to have a reason to sit down too and when necessary find a position to be close to him. Apparently the situation also supported me because the library which is usually not many visitors arrived crowded today until there was only one seat left for me was right in front of the girl.

"from when I asked permission to do something" he asked in his heart

The girl looked over and her eyes were on me.

Deggs,,,

Those eyes again,,,

Then he nodded and continued reading the book. He did not show any attitude like other women when he saw me. They were racing for my attention. Like the woman in the corner of this room trying to attract my attention by revealing her mini skirt and waving her hand at me. I just looked disinterestedly and looked back at the girl in front of me who had not looked at me at all or glanced at me.

I sit down slowly. Watching the girl is good. He was busy with his book. So that he did not suspect I opened the book I brought and pura opened the page like reading. My eyes were inseparable from the girl who kept reading.

"this girl doesn't want to look at me at all, does she not know who I am? But which woman on this campus doesn't recognize me? this girl is so different and makes me curious." I kept on turning my head while looking at her.

I started reading back when I realized the girl had started closing her book. After tidying things up he went to the library guard's desk to tell her what books he had borrowed. The tail of my eyes still continues to follow wherever the girl who did not flinch at all even though she was so close to me. Even when he stood up and left the table he didn't even look at me. I saw him leave this room. I immediately approached the guard.

"Eh mas Darren, would you like to take this book home?" greet the guard looking at the book I brought

"what is the name of the hijab girl? you must have a list of book borrowers here, right?" ketusku cold

The guard opened the book list of borrowers and after finding a suitable name he turned the book over to me so I could read it. He showed me a name.

"FAJIRA CHAIRA"

I patted the book and immediately went after Chaira who had not been far away without thanking the guard who directly stroked her chest.

From the list of names in the book I know Chaira is one of the students who majored in law. She was actually in the same semester as me but somehow I never saw her all this time. From the book I also know that he often visited the library.

"why have I never seen it" I regretted

My eyes are looking for Chaira's whereabouts. I was happy when I saw him. He was standing talking to some of his female friends. Samar I heard him say he wanted to go home soon. His voice that only sounded soft in my ears made me want to hear more. But when I saw him start to leave the college yard I intended to follow him.
