"Take good self, son, don't ever leave your duty as a Muslim" Darren said, hugging Rayya with a sad look.
For years he could see the growth and development of his beautiful daughter but now inevitably he had to release his daughter to continue his education abroad.
Indeed Darren also took part in choosing which school is best for Rayya, Darren also gave full support for Rayya's cooking talent, but parting with his beautiful daughter made him feel crowded.
"Yes dad, I'll take it easy. Rayya will take care of herself,, Rayya will be fine there. Rayya will never forget all the messages of the father, although not with the father but there is always our Lord who watches over Rayya. So going away from dad doesn't mean Rayya can act as she pleases." Rayya reviewed the smile.
"You're right, son, Dad, it's still not scary to be disobeyed, but on top, Don't you ever ignore" Darren said, pointing up.
"Rayya changed his farewell to Levi's brother first yes father,,"pamit Rayya because it felt like Darren's hand was reluctant to let go of him.
Darren did feel heavy left behind by his beautiful daughter.
"Yes, son," Finally, Darren let go.
Rayya shifted her body facing the older sister who once broke her heart. Rayya smiled even though her heart bitterly remembered that. Plus in a moment she would go far away leaving her brother as well.
Rayya's chest grew tight.
"You want to stand there?? Don't you want to hug brother??" reprimanded Levi who was surprised to see Rayya even daydreamed.
Rayya stammered and smiled back and then poured into the arms of Levi who had opened his hands wide.
"Hmmm little sister brother wants to leave brother." said Levi sadly.
"And also just for a while gone. Then there is already a brother Ara who can disturb you now," said Rayya with his potency.
Tiara, who was beside Levi and also escorted Rayya to the airport, only smiled when her name was mentioned. Tiara also stroked Levi's shoulder elus who seemed to be trying hard to take off the departure of his beloved sister.
The sound of airport operators warning prospective passengers to be ready because the plane will leave soon.
"That's Ayya's plane, Ayya, come in first, brother," Rayya reminded Levi to take off his clutches that felt tighter.
"Honey,, Lepasin Ayya later he missed his plane, loh," said Tiara.
"Eh yes,, Hati hayi ya Ayya," Levi finally let go.
Rayya nodded and glanced with one eye. Her sweet smile expands to cover the sadness of her heart parting for the first time with family.
Rayya waved her hand and walked backwards to keep looking at her family's face. But when his gaze was fixed on Darren, his steps came to a halt for a moment.
Darren and Levi looked at. They didn't understand what Rayya was thinking. They were astonished when Rayya stepped closer.
"What's up, son??" darren asked as Rayya stood before him.
"Didn't you always wear a father's hijab? Mother even made a veil, ", said Rayya.
"Then why didn't you ever tell Rayya to do the same??" rayya Protest.
Levi was a little stunned at the question of his sister. Another with Darren who was smiling heard it.
"Dad doesn't want to make you a sholeha woman like mother. I even wanted it so badly" Darren said.
"Then??" asked Rayya impatiently.
"Dad didn't want to be a selfish father. I understand teaching children to close the aurat early on is better in order to get used to good deeds since childhood. Wearing a headscarf for children is not a foreign thing for some parents. Especially now the rampant development of Islamic trends and lifestyles make many women compete to wear hijab" he continued.
"But I don't want you to wear it for the reason you do it especially just because this is a trend or lifestyle. I want you to do it out of sheer awareness and sincerity simply because of your love for your Lord" Darren replied.
Rayya's stunned.
"You will still go through several phases of growth where there will come a time when you are in the search for identity. Entering adolescence as you are now, you experience many significant developments, ranging from physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes. I don't want to make you have an identity crisis with you forcing what you want on you" Darren said.
"You can come listen to this, son," Darren's gaze fell on Tiara who seemed interested in listening as well.
"Yes father," replied Tiara happily.
"Maybe the way a father educates a child is different from other parents. But each parent has the right to educate their children with their own values in accordance with their respective beliefs. I never denounce the way other parents educate their children because they value them." Darren spoke again.
"And most importantly, I understand that everyone has a different readiness for hijab. Including you, my beautiful son. I am only obliged to instill a strong foundation in you and then I will wait until you are ready" he continued.
"Dad also does not want to see a time because you are hijab then the environment around you can not accept well and you are set aside. Then for the reason that your hijab is not strong you will release it again." Darren smiled looking at the daughter and daughter-in-law who he also always considered his own daughter.
"Do you know why, son??" darren asked Rayya who was still silently pensively thinking about every word.
"Don't force yourself. Slowly understand and think well. A princess is a barrier to her father's entrance into hell, but it could also be her enticement into hell. Decide which father you want to be, son," Darren holds Rayya's shoulders.
The voice of the female operator with her distinctive voice again sounded alerting all prospective passengers of the plane.
"That's your plane," said Darren.
"Yes dad, thank you for all your explanations. Rayya will consider it very much. Rayya wants me to know, Dad is the best dad Rayya has ever had," Rayya said with glassy eyes.
"Dad is still father son, don't forget you still have an abi that is no less great and good than father." Darren was moved.
"Thank you dad for taking care of Rayya so well." Rayya hugged tightly the substitute figure of her brother.
Levi shed tears at the sight. He hugs Rayya and Darren before Rayya lets go of his arms to Darren.
Tiara moved along and wiped away the silent tears that also fell down her face. In his silence Tiara was also amazed by the figure of his father-in-law who educated his children in a way that might be different from most other parents but still aims well.
His father-in-law was very detailed thinking about all aspects. In contrast to his own father who had never taught him about the understanding of religion. During this time Tiara learned more about religion from the internet or from Levi.
But Tiara did not blame him because he knew all along his parents were busy enough to work for them to survive and finance his college.
