Chapter 6 First Training

Sophia was quite surprised to find herself able to sleep in that place, but at first she really felt uncomfortable until she coughed a few times.

When it came to dinner time that was supposed to be breakfast Damien picked him up, sitting among the vampires was apparently not as bad as Sophia had imagined.

Maybe because they are human-like, the only thing that makes them awkward is that there are too many men who are even the same age as them.

Their priceless slovenly thundering jokes were completely unusual for him, plus their voracious way of eating. On the contrary, Sophia was a joke, the way Sophia behaved and even ate regularly was not suitable for where she was sitting.

After they finish their dinner, the young vampires leave to have fun again, while Sophia chooses to return to her room.

"Hey!" someone shouted to him.

Sophia turned her head, looking at the three young vampires who were the same age as her. He was quietly waiting for the three vampires to approach him, although Damien had given a warning not to deal with them but it did not matter if it was just a word of greeting.

"I heard Damien brought you in" said one of them.

"Yes, then?" ask Sophia.

"Include me Tris, Edmund and Key."

"Sophia," she said.

"I didn't think there would be any vampire girls, I thought they would only target men."

"So?" ask Sophia.

"Well, welcome home. I hope you don't cry during the first training hahahaha" said Key, who was immediately greeted with laughter by the others.

Sophia frowned, she did not understand what they meant.

Sophia finally understood the day, the young vampires were trained hard to be ready to fight against anything. Sophia was certainly shocked to see their gladiator-like fighting manner, and the hard-to-follow speed of the eyes was beyond her reasoning.

"You're gonna train me like that?" ask Sophia to Damien.

"No, remember you're not a vampire like them" Damien whispered.

"Then?"

"You'll find out later, come on!" bring Damien.

They circled the open space and entered another room, saw many weapons on display ranging from spears to bows.

At the end of the room Lucy was already waiting for their arrival, a little hesitant Sophia walked over while Damien waited in the middle of the room.

"Come here!" take Lucy.

"Pick the weapons you like" he ordered.

Sophia looked at each weapon, her delicate hands touching every surface of the weapon until her choice fell on the crossbows.

"Use it" Lucy ordered after Sophia told her.

The first time she had to use a weapon, Sophia was quite nervous, but her curiosity made her have the courage to take it.

"Uhh!" the squeals were shocked because it turned out that the bow was a little heavier than it looked.

From Lucy's direction he tried to aim at a wooden beam, by squinting Sophia's eyes trying to aim right in the middle.

Lucy has complained about this before, only with her introduction did she know Sophia lived to be a princess instead of a fighter. But Damien insisted that Sophia would be his forever, and for that he needed combat skills.

Shaken with annoyance Lucy began to teach from physical training, she told Sophia to run every day for two hours. He also taught her how to hit, kick and deflect, which made her whole body in pain at night.

Seeing how Sophia was gently kneeling her hands and feet Damien knew she might be outrageous, especially after a week the figure of the beautiful princess Sophia turned into a commoner.

Surprisingly, Damien had never heard Sophia complain let alone sulk for a ride home. This made him curious until that night after finishing training Damien approached him to the room.

"I brought a new shirt for you" he said, handing over the cloth.

"Thank you, honestly, these clothes are not comfortable to use," he admitted, smiling.

"I was quite surprised to see your speed in adapting, especially when I saw you eat without commenting on the taste or smell, heh.you've become a part of us."

He looked at the girl fixedly, looking for traces of tears that might have been hidden. But in Sophia's face there was only dust and bread crumbs leftover from the meal.

"Are you not sorry?" ask Damien.

"You mean?" sophia did not understand.

"Come on. You're a princess! your life is very decent and happy, but suddenly a vampire comes along and you have to follow her wherever she goes. Living in a house that has never been exposed to the sun, sleeping on a hard mat with a musty smell and the sound of mice that interfere. You even live among predators!" damien hatch.

Sophia was silent for a moment, staring at Damien for a few minutes before finally answering.

You know, Damiem didn't think the answer was so simple. There is no specific reason or straight goal, just just want to know and that is enough.

Unknowingly Sophia had awakened a soul that had been buried for so long, every day as she went through a hard day of training until her beautiful, lost nails were there to observe.

The other days of strenuous exercise continued, and Sophia now had enough strength to use the weapon.

"Well, today is enough!" said Lucy finished the exercise.

Taking a deep breath Sophia regulated her breathing which felt heavy, feeling good enough she decided to take a short break in the room before going for a bath.

"Hi princess!" greet Edmund.

"How's your training going?" ask also Key.

"Good enough, what about you?" his reply.

"You wouldn't believe it, we had to climb a steep cliff without safety and continue freely into a river that was nearly 500 meters high!" tris Sahut.

"really? looks like you guys enjoyed it."

"Of course, are you enjoying your training?" tris asked while holding Sophia's new.

"Remove it" said Sophia slowly because she did not like the touch of Tris' hand that played her shoulder.

"Why?" tris asked with a mocking smile.

One slap landed right on Tris' cheek leaving a red mark.

"Oh, fuck! hahahaha ", said Edmund who immediately invited the anger of Tris.

Feeling humiliated Tris pushed Sophia's body to hit the wall, with her vampire strength of course Sophia felt her spine crumpled instantly.

"Take me off or.." Sophia said with a sharp look.

"Or what?" reply Tris.

A triumphant smile graced Sophia's face, knowing she was losing in terms of strength then at least she still had the sense to win.

"Aah!" peekik Sophia felt a pain in her cheek that was affected by an incision from Tris' nails.

Fresh blood soon dripped out, spreading a delicious scent that instantly drew the thirst of the young vampires.

Tris, Edmund and Key who stood closest stared fixedly at the viscous liquid. Swallowing saliva as if her throat was dry, while the danger-conscious Sophia stared in fear while watching the predators.

"No.... Damien!" he shouted right as the claws invaded.
